Services and management are good overall. My major complaint is that in order to get a decent dinner reservation you have to sign in at 7:00 am. Why not have the sign in at 9:30 am or 10:00 am?

Staff members (particularly dining services managers) are often either non-responsive or rude to the residents, seldom respond or correct clearly at fault incidences. Reservation times appear available either very early or late enough that wait staff is cleaning up to go home 30 minutes before the restaurant is suppose to quit serving. The menu rarely changes. Breakfasts vary in the way they're prepared. The same items ordered daily are often inconsistent. Communication skills throughout staff are often lacking. Costs are on the higher end and continue to rise.

Other than real problems with take out which is on-going, everything else is satisfactory. We are very comfortable here overall. Re; dining which is a staff issue and may be better for a few times, then very frustrating at least twice a week with losing orders, and missing items, giving our order to someone else, etc. If we weren't paying $900 monthly for this service, we wouldn't be using it nightly. Considering that you have no idea that the email address you are sending to is not for Hans Hess, but his son Mark Hess, I can only give you a two stars for not having an updated/accurate database and not knowing who you are sending "give us your opinion" emails to. Yes, it is OK that you have me as a point of contact for my dad, but please take me off of your email list for everyday communication.

The only suggestion I have is when a person reserves a dinner table and they don't show up, at least one person within 15 minutes, cancel their reservation and open the table to someone there. Tables sit there not occupied way to long while others wait.

Unable to get regular services performed. Emptying of urinal, bed made, trash removed. Trouble getting 5 minutes of shower assistance for three days of protocol prior to surgery. Food frequently serve not hot enough. Food frequently too bland --- except southwest food which too spicy.

Overall clean environment!... there have been complaints about lack of steamrooms due to replacement issues. ? When will be done? Fire pits great! Bocce great! Silver singers great. Need a way to reserve space for resident + family member caretaker (external) when coming to event requiring reservations

My mom has lived at the Ridge for a couple years now, first in assisted living and now in memory care. When I began my search to help my mom find the perfect retirement community, I looked at every high end facility within a 45 minute radius. The Ridge was the clear choice in terms of amenities, food, and apartment options. Occasionally there are issues and concerns to address, which can be difficult with an elderly parent. However, I have been incredibly impressed with how the Ridge has responded to any challenges we have faced. In particular, I have found Katrissa Gates and Lori Closs to be beyond amazing. They are accessible, approachable, supportive, and work diligently to address concerns and provide solutions. They also follow-up afterwards to make sure everything is working out as expected. I am beyond grateful that I found the Ridge and that my mom is in good hands.

My experience with The Ridge Pinehurst has been nothing short of amazing. As a Home Health company, The Ridge is exactly the type of partner we look for: honest, patient care focused, and transparent. Specifically within the team, Steven/Lori/Katrissa go above and beyond for the residents ensuring they receive quality care. Walking around the community seeing smiling faces and high community interaction, I can attest to the fantastic environment the Ridge team upholds. Without a doubt, I would recommend this community to any and all looking for a 5 star senior community. Kudos!

I have a family member who lives in the independent living area and she loves it. The food is mediocre, but could be much worse. The facility is so modern and has lots of amenities (gym, pool, great movie theatre, community room, etc).

Great looking facility. HOWEVER, there are multiple issues to consider. The food is mostly bland and mostly reheated and out of a box. Food service is painfully slow; dinner is a 90 min commitment. If this were a restaurant, it would be out of business LONG ago. Keep in mind. The food package isn't optional—it's use it or lose it so it's a big profit column for ownership. The bigger fish is the dubious electricity and power situation. Mom in laws unit regularly loses power and she frequently wakes to no lights and so on. Techs must be regularly dispatched to restore power and they complain about how poorly wired the building is. It's a mess. Overall the facility is quiet and clean and staff are pleasant. However for the fees they charge (you'll need to take a knee when you learn the lease rate), the food should be great (they charge full rate prices that are applied to your balance) and the power shouldn't be hit or miss, but it is.

I currently work as a Care Partner in the Memory Support unit. This place is amazing, and any bad "reviews" are due to isolated incidents and/or the fact that the facility is new and still growing/developing. This is the best place I've worked, and the management is amazing. Lori and Autumn are wonderful, as well as the rest of the management team. They really know how to provide the best care for residents, and they treat the staff with the upmost respect. I'm truly proud to come to work every day and be part of such an amazing community and team. If you are considering moving your loved one here, don't listen to the negative people and come and see things for yourself! I would gladly have my family live in this beautiful facility! So thankful for The Ridge at Pinehurst!

I live at The Ridge and think it is fabulous. My feeling is that this server is just not a happy person. Having lived in other facilities before, this is the best. Remember, food is a matter of taste. It is the quality of the food that counts. If you decide to live here, in my opinion you won't find anything better. Salt and pepper are always on the table so anyone can season to their liking.

My mom moved into the Ridge (Summit) independent living about 2 months ago. We have been very pleased with her experiences so far. First and foremost, the staff and residents are all extremely friendly and everyone was so helpful in the early days while she was trying to figure everything out. Many went out of their way to introduce themselves to her and make sure she knew how things work. You don't pass anyone (staff or resident) in the hall without a greeting. The Ridge is family friendly. Families are encouraged to visit and participate and the young great grandchildren are always welcomed. My mom enjoys the grounds and the space to walk around, and the variety of activities which appeal to varied interests. She especially likes the expansive gym and the opportunities to resume her exercise. The Ridge is also close to lots of shopping and it's been easy to address her shopping needs. I would highly recommend the Ridge as a vibrant senior living community.
