As a current employee of MorningStar at Applewood, I cannot say enough good! True, it has come through a difficult past year, but they now have an excellent team in place with the best of the best leadership, in my opinion. I've been in this line of work for 28 years...this is the happiest I've ever been! Great team, great leadership, GREAT RESIDENTS! And OH! Did I mention a HUGE remodel project? LOVE THIS PLACE!

This assisted living is AMAZING! I recently visited there and the residents were happy, it was clean, and all staff had a smile (under their masks) but were happy to be there. Leadership members that I did meet or cross along path said hello and introduced themselves. I have seen some great changes with the new ED in place and additional members they are adding. I have been to many were is dull or quiet but this felt like you walked into grandmas home (at least it does for me) also nice touch actually using the bistro/coffee bar finally!! Kudos to bringing that back. Maybe now a small pub to the right just some feedback! Thanks team Applewood for the care you give my loved one and the care and love the team gives to each other.

Applewood Place Memory Care has been wonderful to my mother and our family. The staff is caring and compassionate and have been very helpful while we make the transition into this new experience. I really love the feel of a “home” environment with a big kitchen in the center and a tranquil outdoor courtyard near her bedroom. It’s a small and easy building for my elderly dad to maneuver to go visit my mom. Her room is big and has a calming scenic view from her window. I highly recommend Applewood Place.

We are so happy with the choice of Applewood Place Assisted Living and Memory Care for my dad! Although the transition has been a bit of a challenge for dad, the Applewood Place team has been just wonderful! From Tracey's support getting all the paperwork signed and understood plus helping find us a great bed on short notice, to Sonny and her team really taking the time to learn about dad and his situation so they can best support. This has been a dramatic change for all of us and the Applewood Place team has been so gentle and patient as we learn to navigate this new path. So many thanks to the Applewood Place folks for walking this path with us!

I hate these kinds of places because you know whats happening to your, in my case, lmy dad.I will say these people treated my 91 year old father very well.They try so hard, from the front desk always knowing your name to all the weekly activities they plan.f theres ever a problem these people (Jessica and Natasha) will make it right.Heres what I will say.f you HAVE to be in a assisted living facility , you would do very well to be residing there.

May good things to be sure. Attitudes here are wonderful, its a pretty clean place. There are always the little things and moments to just shred people with but those moments here are few and far between. Great layout, happy folks live here. Check it out!

I work at a short term rehab facility in Golden and sometimes when patients discharge from our facility they need a higher level of care then going home. Weve had several patients transition to Applewood and they love it! The staff is always professional, friendly and accommodating. We love working with Adam Sigrist who always goes above and beyond to help the residents and their families feel supported in the moving process. Highly recommended!!!

My mom was here briefly as I was relocated to Florida. The overall experience was positive and I credit Megan for that. She is so supportive and addressed any concerns I had as this was my first experience placing my mom at an assisted living center. John, who drives residents to appointments and for errands, is also amazing. Such a great staff here. Ive learned no place is perfect but Applewood is pretty close! I miss the people here.

We toured this facility and I was impressed. Megan showed us around and we got a chance to talk to other employees and some of the residents. The residents looked happy and well and some raved about the food. The interactions, between employees and patients, seemed friendly and respectful. We opted for a different location but Juniper Applewood seemed like a happy, healthy environment for those loved ones with Dementia or other memory disorders. Thanks Megan!

This place is as beautiful as they come, and the staff is elite. If you are looking for assisted living or memory care, you have to visit the site; a review simply doesnt do it justice. The staff will be happy to meet you, the chefs will be happy to serve you, and you will be happy you came in.

Both Mom and Dad have been living at Applewood Place for about two years. The entire staff, from the Director on down, has always been understanding of their needs and have accommodated whenever possible. Mom and Dad still want to go back to their home but, since that is no longer possible, we feel Applewood Place has proven to be their best next step. And, theyve made friends! Not bad for a couple in their 90s!

qI want to express my gratitude for the care afforded my father in his nearly 2 years at Atria, Juniper at Applewood Place. When my father arrived he was starting his recovery from a period of extended injury and subsequent illness. The continued physical and emotional support has given my father a new quality of life that we all greatly appreciate. A special shout out to Liz, Marie, Megan, Kim, Sharmella, and everyone else who Ive neglected to mention. I also want to thank everyone for for a special 100th birthday celebration for dad.

Very mixed. Some of the staff seem to care greatly, but theres always a huge turn over. Getting to the core of any problem, i.e. food, health, cleanliness, discrepancies seems to be challenging, results far and few.

My mom Bobbie Bond has only been in the memory unit since late Oct but she is thriving. And, she loves it! Every staff member Ive been in contact with has been loving, caring and friendly. The caregivers who work directly with Mom have been great - cant remember all their names but you know who they are. My sisters and I are comforted that Moms being so well taken care of by all the staff. I appreciated Jean and Kelsey at the front desk Deborah there, too. Of course Pete, Nikki, Ryan and Susan, Gina, Lindsey, Ariel and Stacey have been really helpful and activities person Tracey is the best. Thanks so much for all your efforts to create a loving, family-like community. And Director Deb,Mike the chef and Ted, cant forget them!thanks

There are really so many deserving caregivers and staff at Atria Applewood, that it is hard to select just one. In this case however, I would like to give a shout out to Breanne. My mother (Gene Hawkins), recently took a fall resulting in a fracture of her left arm. This was a most unfortunate mishap for Gene who otherwise had been doing so well getting around on her own for the most part. Breanne stepped up and was there checking in to see how Gene was doing even when she wasnt working. When she was working she can be counted on to provide a level of care that is truly outstanding and exemplary. Living some distance away, I can be assured that Gene is being well looked after by Breanne and a host of others. Please know how grateful my brothers and I are for all those who support Gene each and every day. Thank you. It is always a treat to run into Breanne coming and going at Atria. She brightens the room when she comes in to deliver medications or provide support.

This is a very difficult choice for me because there are many employees at Atria Applewood that go above and beyond the call of duty. After much thought, this time I would like to vote for Pete. Pete has the ability to make each resident feel welcome and important. His enthusiasm and caring heart encourage the residents to participate in the activities. Just his presence alone adds to the community environment at Atria and his kindness and willingness to help whoever, whenever and whatever goes well beyond the call of duty. HE IS A JOY TO HAVE AROUND.
