My mom has lived at The Peaks at Old Laramie Trail for over three years, starting in Assisted Living, then in Memory Care for the past year and a half.Generally, it’s a good place. The caregivers are all friendly, loving, and caring to the residents. The quality of the meals and snacks has improved. The building is kept up fairly well. The activity staff are fun and come up with creative things to do – but seem spread thin, so there is a lot of time when there’s not much going on.It would be nice to see more one-on-one with residents when the caregivers have downtime – such as taking them for a walk; or sitting outside in the sunshine and chatting; or working on puzzles or coloring—or even sitting and watching TV with the residents.There is often a lack of management. Directors come and go—with long gaps between. Communication between management and families is poor. The last director rarely came to the memory care side of the building and never made an effort to get to know the families or residents. The phone doesn’t always get answered—which is not good in an emergency situation.There is a nice sense of “family” at The Peaks, and I would recommend it for your loved one. But – like everywhere – there is a shortage of staff, so I highly suggest being there as often as you can to ensure your loved one is getting proper care and attention, and to be an advocate for them if necessary. (I would recommend that for any facility you end up choosing.)

Great tour with Debby - knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating of our needs. We asked a million questions and she was warm and helpful throughout. Met with us in-person within 24 hours of our initial inquiry due to a time-sensitive situation. We would have put down a deposit on the spot if there was a CC option!

Our mom has lived here for 2 years. The staff and management truly care about the well being and health of each resident. I often see staff giving residents hugs and going out of their way to do nice things for residents. I’d recommend Generations to anyone looking for a nice place for their loved one.

The Peaks has a great Memory Care facility and staff, which was one major reason my mother moved there. She initially lived in Assisted Living for 5 months and the staff is absolutely wonderful there too, with a very positive attitude and very attentive to everyone, a truly stellar staff.Their Memory Care program and activities are very stimulating, diverse and social - and the staff in Memory Care is also extremely caring, attentive and professional! I highly recommend The Peaks at Old Laramie Trail for both AL and MC living!!

Dad is 84 and has been resident now 10 months. So thankful for the amazing people who work here. Dad recently experienced his Living the Dream program day. The staff created a day just for him to visit the Wings over the Rockies air Museum where he was able to fly a jet simulator and see many wonderful airplanes. Dad lost his ability to be a pilot in his 30s due to a medical condition. He always dreamed of flying again. Thank you to Kali and all the staff that made that happen!!

This is a wonderful place. Our mom was treated with kindness, respect and compassion. She enjoyed the time the staff would take to chat with her. Any questions we had were taken seriously and responded to. She also liked the food! I highly recommend The Peaks!

Having a working relationship with several of the staff at this community, has proven the care here to be beyond superior. Moving our mom into a care facility was one of the most difficult choices Ive ever had to make, but Im so very grateful for Barbara and the wonderful staff she has put together at The Peaks - they are truly outstanding!! Over the last few months, Mom has settled in and despite dementia, seems contented, enjoys her room, the care-givers genuinely love her. There are many different kinds of activities for her to participate in (if she wants to), the food is excellent, shes always clean, well-dressed, and well cared for. We researched many other facilities in the area, and this one easily came out on top - Barbara and her staff are experienced, professional, loving, incredibly hard working, and I am so very grateful for the wonderful care she is receiving.

My mom has been at the Peaks memory care facility for three months now, she has dementia and was no longer safe living on her own. The process was incredibly encumbered by Covid-19, but the staff has been extremely flexible and accommodating to help me navigate the check-in, visits, and daily questions. As an only child with no experience with this kind of thing, I have really appreciated their professionalism and upbeat attitude.

My parents have been residents for nearly 16 months and we couldnt have had a better experience! They both have different needs and levels of care, but the facility layout is conducive for them continuing to share meals, events and sports games! Awesome architecture, the dining room, event area, fireplaces, Grand Piano, what a place! Covid has resulted in needed restrictions and the staff is extremely diligent with protecting everyone. The Event Planner is incredible and fills the days and calendar with fun events! Weve had family at Frasier Meadows too and while it was a wonderful place, its continued growth makes it too big for the type of personal care experienced at The Peaks! We cannot thank the Director and Staff of the PEAKS enough. My mother has been there for about a year. She has advanced dementia. Initially it was a difficult transition for her, but the PEAKS helped us all with that. While Moms disease progresses, she is doing remarkably well. This is due in no small way to the great people at the PEAKS. They have kept her safe and very well cared for. They also go well beyond basic care and provide a wide range of enjoyable activities. They are excellent highly professional partners in the care for my mother.

The Windsor is a beautiful assisted living facility that has warm compassionate employees that make all the difference in the care of your loved one. Melanie, Sandy and Beth are genuine, loving nurses that really listen to the needs of the families and residents.Of course, having lovely surroundings is important,but NOTHiNG rises above how someone makes you feel! Melanie and her staff specialize in making each resident feel important and heard. Each resident is unique and equally cared for. Oh, and the food here is awesome!!!

I have worked there a few times as a PCP for a outside agency and I can tell you the staff are amazing but more importantly the resident's are very happy whenever I go there to work which says so much about the care their receiving.I came from some of the larger facilities with bigger names attached to them in Louisville and Boulder where the resident's were absolutely miserable and the staff only showed up for a paycheck. So yes this place is amazing and that is why I give it 5 stars

Very beautiful surroundings. Staff really cares. I met with the Executive Director who gave me a great tour ! There's even loving little dogs to comfort those who want that. Nice Garden to enjoy. Spacious rooms with lots of light !! I like the way they separated memory care from other residents. they have everything they need, including their own hair salon.

Matt, Kelli, and STAFF are exceptional, skilled, and caring. The caregivers are THE BEST! My Dad feels it. Because of this, he does not act out here, as he had done before. It is a supportive community for Dad and for the family as well. The attitude-corporate culture is unlike anything I have ever seen before. I would not put Dad in Memory Care any place else.

My mother has been a resident at Elmcroft on Brockington road for one year. Since then me and my three sisters have noticed a huge improvement. Mom has Alzheimers and that will never improve, but the care she receives and the planned activities has helped her feel she has a purpose. She has a new family with the staff and other residents. Donna Hester is the best and wants only the best for her residents. I would highly recommend Elmcroft to anyone.

We are so thankful we found such a quality home like the Lombard Place Memory Care floor for my mother in law, Irene! I actually had tears in my eyes on my initial tour when I saw how nice everything is- including the secure outdoor balcony where Irene can enjoy the weather and plants! Now more than 6 months later, we have come to also appreciate and value the wonderful staff who looks after Irene and others as if they were part of their own families. I truly believe great places like this start at the top. Seeing the genuine appreciation the management team has for their employees is heart warming. I highly recommend Lombard Place to anyone looking for a special place to care for their loved ones.
