The Haven has been a godsend. My father in law moved in April 2023. He was unable to live alone at 92. We were able to move him to the Haven. Staff has been very helpful in answering my questions regarding my father in laws care and overall health. I have found the facility to be clean and welcoming while maintaining a home like environment. Sometimes I bring my grandchildren to see GGrand Pa. They love to eat lunch with him in the dining room. They love to play in the front sitting room. Residents and staff let the girls bring toys and coloring books, sticker books, etc. It's just like home. My husband and I are relieved to have our loved one in such a loving and caring place.

As a new resident my father adjusted quickly due to the friendly, helpful, atmosphere. The staff is caring, attentive, and have made my father's stay enjoyable.

The Haven has been an excellent place for our loved one! The food, activities, and the care and kindness of the staff is excellent. The rooms and facilities are well maintained and clean which also helps create a positive atmosphere for residents. We highly recommend The Haven!

My mama resided at The Haven for several years. It was indeed the perfect spot for her at that time in her life, and she was happy to be there. I loved the small facility ... as it definitely felt like friends and family throughout. And I was honestly grateful this facility was available to assist her and give her the safe space she needed. It is truly a difficult decision and a hard process to move a loved one out of their home ... but The Haven made it easier. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

My Mom moved into the Haven earlier this month the transition for her and her family has been so smooth mom is always telling me how great the food is. We could not be happier with this move.

I can't even express how grateful I am to the staff at The Haven for the amazing care they have given my mom. She moved into a shared room just over a month ago and is so happy there. The things she mentions the most are how safe she feels, how quiet and peaceful it is, and how much she enjoys being able to visit with other people when she wants to or sit in her room and read if she's wanting some alone time. She has done things, such as swimming and visiting a museum, that she hasn't done in decades and which I wouldn't even have thought of for her. Because everyone who works at The Haven is so kind and caring to all the residents, I'm able to have true peace of mind regarding my mom for the first time in many years. It's such a gift to be able to actually relax, especially when I'm out of town. I highly recommend checking out The Haven if someone in your family is needing assisted living.

My mother has been there for almost a year. I appreciate all that the staff did the make her feel comfortable and continue to do so. They keep me updated on any changes or if she needs anything I may have missed the last time I was there. They keep their Facebook page updated with the residents and their activities, including going to the pool, art projects, etc. The staff take very good care of my mother.

My 95 year old mother was living on her own until June of this year and doing pretty well. I had hoped she'd be able to stay there until she passed. In June things changed drastically for my mom and she needed assisted living which she was adamantly opposed to until we visited The Haven. We received such a wonderfully warm welcome by Adrienne and the staff that mom thought she just might like it there. I moved her in in mid July and she's been happy and well taken care of ever since. Everyone at The Haven loves and cares for mom and all their residents! The staff is outstanding and the residents are awesome! The Haven has become a big part of our family now and we couldn't be happier. I love going there and visiting with all the residents! Other people find it depressing going to visit mom, but for me it's far from it. It's always a great day when I get to go there. Thank you to Adrienne, the staff and all residents!

We love the Haven and the staff. My mom has been there just about a year now and is well cared for, she enjoys the activities as well as her caregivers. It is a small place where everyone knows each other well, and it is like family. When we visit from out of state they always take care of us too, very friendly, and my mom loves introducing us to each one. They all know my mom well and they keep in contact with me often. It helps to know she is in a safe place being well cared for being so far away.

After a recent fall in her own home our mom moved into The Haven Assisted Living Center in Hayden, Colorado. Since day one, she has been welcomed and cared for by every staff member in a way that goes above and beyond all of our expectations. The Haven is clean, the food is awesome, there are lots of fun activities and every day mom tells us, "this feels like home". Thank you, Adrianne and staff for the extraordinary care, compassion and making us all feel so welcome at The Haven.

My beloved mom spent too short a time at the Haven, just a year due to a sudden illness that took her too quickly. In the last couple of months she needed care above and beyond what an assisted living usually deals with and the staff there handled everything so compassionately and continued to allow her to stay. She was allowed to have her dog Walter there as well!! It made the move to the Haven so much easier. I cannot say enough for the care and respect she was given from the Haven. Adrienne, Jennifer, Becky, Stevie, Jamie, Eric....the list goes on! It was such a comfort to me to know she was so well cared for and loved. It truly is a family atmosphere.

I have never experienced working with an assisted living facility before, which can be a scary thing. Wanting to ensure that my loved one was in the absolute best place; cared for as the unique and special person they are, knowing their mind and body s stimulated (not left in a bed to waste away), their medical needs seen to, fed healthy meals, remain part of a community, always clean and given the opportunities for hair cuts, nail trimmings, the little things that make one feel good about themselves, and with the ultimate hope that they are loved. I can never thank the Haven and all of the staff for what they have done for my dear friend Bob Erickson. He initially went in because he just couldn't live alone any longer. He was welcomed with open arms. Not much later, COVID hit and Bob was unfortunately in the hospital for 3 weeks, he was in complete isolation, and the Haven was gracious enough to let him go back to them under hospice terms. This way, he was around people he knew, cared for him, and LOVED him. They did not have to do this. But they did, which is a testament to the dedication they have to their clients. I believe Bob survived COVID because of the personal care, attention and love he received at the Haven. He was removed from hospice status and thrived for many many more months. When the time came, the staff was broken hearted to tell me that they could not offer the health care that Bob needs and deserves. Although I know they didn't want him to leave them, their honesty about what they could provide was so meaningful to me. I cannot thank them enough for that. Although Bob has moved to the Doak, I receive countless messages and calls from the staff asking about how he is doing. Adrian Idsal, the Director of the Haven has even come to visit him. When someone has dementia, to see a familiar face means all the world. I can never thank The Haven enough. You all are wonderful, special people. Angels on this earth. Thank you - Jessica Quigley

My dad is currently at the haven and I must say that they are a league above others. The staff is very personable to all of the residents and visitors and gets things done in a very timely fashion. I would highly suggest the haven to anyone with assisted needs and can personally vouch for them.

The Haven has exceeded our expectations of what assisted living can be. We love the small family atmosphere and staff that truly care about the well being of all the residents . Daily activities and routines provide my mother in law with a sense of purpose as she has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's and Dementia and is no longer able to live on her own. We are so grateful for that she is taken care of and would highly recommend The Haven to your loved one who is not ready for skilled nursing. It's a very special place!

Multiple generations of my family have lived in Hayden and the Yampa Valley since before I was born. The Haven allowed us peace of mind knowing that my grandmother would be cared for, socialized and nourished. The fact that the residents and staff are people we've known for years made this the perfect place for my Nana. We can walk to the Haven to visit her on our lunch breaks. Its a gorgeous facility and Adrienne was infinitely patient with us as we flip flopped back and forth with making this difficult decision during COVID. Ultimately we couldn't be happier with how they treat my Nana and the safety measures they take to ensure all residents are healthy and tended to. Could not recommend this place more!

The Haven is the perfect place for my mother-in-law. The staff is her extended family. They are always so thoughtful and help her out whenever she needs something extra. The grounds are accessible and really lovely when the weather is agreeable. It's great that everything is on the ground level making it inviting to go outside and soak up some fresh air. We really appreciate The Haven, it's a great resource for our community.

The Haven employees are the most thoughtful people I have ever dealt with. They keep me informed on everything that is going on with my mother. They treat her like she is in their own family, helping with all her needs. They go beyond their duties and very patient with the ups and downs that she has had. I would not want my mother anywhere else. It's one big happy family.

The Haven is a wonderful place! My mother is 65 and needed a comfortable place to call home after her stroke. They were so helpful with the whole process during a super stressful time for my mother and for myself. All of the staff is super friendly and helpful and do their best to make my mother feel like she belongs and like it is her home. I would recommend The Haven to anyone who is looking for a comfortable living environment for their loved one!
