The staff is amazing. Dea, Annie & Michelle are my favorites. My mother-in-law enjoyed her time at Grand Valley. Lot's of fun activities. Very well kept community. Lots of activities for the residents, dog friendly which helped our family member feel comfortable. The team members have been very responsive and have taken great care of our family. I think this is a great community option for seniors looking for company and activities.

Newly renovated and has a friendly, welcoming staff and atmosphere. The rooms and public areas are mostly light and bright and cheerful. Many residents came over to my 85 year old mother and introduced themselves and welcomed her when she was new. I am very pleased my mother is living here and so is she.

We visited this facility to look for a place for my dad. The staff is very friendly, the residents seem very content and happy. The environment is very calm and peaceful. We are going to take my dad on a small tour soon to see if this is a fit for him.

What a delightful facility. Annie was very informative and explained some of the in's and out's of independent living. I enjoyed the tour of the complex and found the amenities to be very pleasing and complete. And the cost is very reasonable. I strongly recommend that anyone looking for independent living should consider Solstice Living of Grand Valley.

My dad has been at Solstice Grand Valley for almost a year now and loves it. My kids and I are also treated like family by the staff and we've really enjoyed meeting others who live there. They are also finishing up remodeling and the place is beautiful!

The entire staff at Solstice helped make the move for Mom from her home of 25+ years to senior living as easy as possible. Their suggestions and help with every step of the way goes above and beyond doing just their job. Annie was very patient with numerous questions from numerous family members and handled our questions with respect and sincerity. She just made everything easier for all of us, particularly during a trying time in our country with the COVID epidemic. We are very grateful that Mom is in a beautiful safe place and surrounded by people who are always happy to help and share a smile! Thank you to Annie, Dee and the entire staff that make Mom's new living arrangement enjoyable for her and everybody in our family.

I was very impressed with how they explained everything. The care emphasis they put on the care and lifestyle was impressive. I felt my mother would be in a great place. I am very comfortable she will be happy and thrive in this environment. Thank you Annie for putting so much into my mother's transition. I feel she will do very well in this environment.

We moved Mom in a little over two months ago. The process was no problem at all. We’d looked at quite a few places and this one was the perfect “Goldie Lox” zone for mom. I waited before leaving any review to see how the whole thing worked there. I’ll tell you, it has exceeded our expectations and Mom, she’s very happy! She mentions often how she loves her own place and when she wants company or gets antsy, there are usually people to chat with or some activity happening. A special shout out to Jackie and Annie and especially Dea. You’ve made a nice lady and a entire family happy. She still has independence but doesn’t have to worry about the little stuff anymore. Excellence comes from the top down and it shows.

My mom moved here in June 2018. This place has really changed over time. We really liked the first set of staff we encountered and were very sorry to see them go after Solstice was bought by a larger corporation. At first we did not like all the changes in staff and policy because is was a move away from our initial comfort zone. And, to be honest, it really seemed like things were definitely going downhill fast for the first 10 or so months after the ownership change. But now that things have been stabilized for almost a year, I would have to say that Solstice has turned out to be a pretty nice place for mom to call home. The current set of staff are pretty darn good. The brightest light is Chef Sef. I could say good things about this man until the end of my days and I would not be able to cover all the ways that this man truly shines. Jackie Roy runs the place and really cares about the residents. Joey is a young man who does all sorts of things and has a genuine knack for making the seniors' day as positive as possible. The new maintenance man Ty has shown himself to be a good addition. I could go on but won't. In short, Solstice is a nice place for my mom to live. Yes, there are problems here but no place is perfect. And when those problems come to light they typically take whatever steps are necessary to make things right. Are there things I would change? Of course. But at the end of the day, I can go to my home and know that my mom is in a pretty good place with pretty good people.

I looked at all possibilities for a place for my father. As I looked at his needs, and then of course what I needed for him, Solstice at Grand Valley was the only answer that would meet both of our needs. It has an elegant atmosphere and is very affordable compared to other senior living facilities. Dad was welcomed by the extremely friendly and companionate staff and continues to enjoy his new home and Solstice family.

Neither great nor horrid just decent. I have not heard too many complaints from the residents but the buildings and grounds are getting older and the staff (and ownership) has changed a few times recently so it can be a little frustrating. It is honestly awfully expensive for what you get but that seems to be very standard in this industry. People do tend to take care with their pets and the other residents seem to be a friendly and welcoming bunch overall.
