I toured Brookdale Englewood this week and one of the first things I noticed was how clean and fresh the community looked. While walking through the skilled nursing area, I briefly met Shannon, who greeted us warmly despite being busy. Between the cleanliness of the building and the friendly staff, it was a very positive experience and definitely a community I would recommend considering.

I cannot say enough about the staff at Brookdale. We had to move our mom onto the assisted living floor last year. She is a type one diabetic with dementia, among other co- morbidities, pretty much the worst combination I can think of. As you can imagine managing this combination of medical issues is difficult but Brookdale has worked with us every step of the way to keep our mom safe. Brittany and Sophia have worked with my sister and I to come up with a care plan that has helped our mom to not only stay out of the hospital but also thrive. Sophia literally saved her life a few days ago when she caught a very low blood sugar. Honestly every single staff member that has helped care for our mom is amazing. The facility is beautiful but it wouldn’t be what it is without the amazing caregivers. I am so grateful we found Brookdale. It has given my sister and I our mom back and helped her to regain a quality of life she laked before Brookdale.

I have lived here since January 2025. The staff here are great. Everyone is very nice and helpful. My apartment is very large and has a wonderful bay window. I like the openness.

I'm glad we toured. Brookdale cares about people. The leasing lady Hannah and the property manager William showed a personal interest no other facility did. 30 days in and our family is still satisfied with mom's choice. Thank you Brookdale Meridian Englewood.

I like living here because its friendly, clean, lots of nice people and things to do! I love my apartment on the 8th floor and I would recommend this community to anyone. I enjoy meal times with friends and the servers are great! There are so many activities going on, there is something for everyone. The activities team is phenomenal.

I love living at Brookdale Meridian, In Englewood. I especially like my apartment on the first floor and my huge patio. I also like all of the activities here and being able to be a part of them. I love going to the dining hall every day and being at a table with some of my closest friends. I came here from Indiana and was very cautious at first, but this is become my home.

My husband, bud, and I have been here at Brookdale since July 4. It was an adjustment as we also had a dog and a cat who came here with us. Overall, it has been a most interesting and happy experience. We have met so many lovely people who we now call FRIENDS.

It's a wonderful community blessed by an excellent staff. The apartments are comfortable and inviting. There are lots of different options for involvement. I can't imagine a place I'd rather be living!

Notice the picture of one of the apartments. The apartment is actually quite small, but with the obvious help of a wide angle lens used for photography, to the apartment appears to be much larger than it is. I have seen this apartment. It is claustrophobically tiny.

My mom has lived here for approximately 5 years now. At first, it was really fairly decent. Sure- some minor complaints about food but overall good. The service she has received in the last year has dramatically declined. I am constantly left wondering if the administration is completely inept or just following a corporate direction to make more money. Communication with administration is quite difficult. I cannot reach anyone to address an issue without being overly persistent and finally rude. Several specific incidents to report. #1- my mom fell out of bed in the early morning and pressed her call button for help. She pressed it several times over the course of TWO HOURS while lying on the floor. When I brought this up to the management- she seemed appropriately appalled but apparently not concerned enough to ever get back to me with what had happened. My mom recently moved into an assisted living unit in this center- and we were asking to see the new contract on a daily basis. They were very unorganized. Literally the day before ( or day of... can't remember which), the contract was brought to us to sign. Since we were sitting amongst all her packed boxes- I guess it's a good thing the contract and services were in line with our expectations! Now however, after about a month in the unit- Mom has been told of an additional charge which was not in the contract and it's not for a service she needs. She was even told that "her daughter (me) agreed to it over the phone"- I certainly was never contacted. It remains unresolved with no real explanation of why this charge is necessary except for some vague references to "policy". I think the front line care workers here are good and they are caring. However, you have to put up with bad administration in order to be there. If I hadn't just moved her and if we weren't in the midst of a pandemic- I'd move her right out- because this is just the tip of the iceberg. Find somewhere else- but see how easy it is to get in touch with them and how crisp and knowledgeable they are about details- you'll be glad you did. FOLLOW UP: The corporate office apparently read this and that's how I finally got some resolution on my issues. Glad they are willing to work with me.

This is a special place. The memory care program has skilled and caring staff, kindness in abundance. They work well and tirelessly to support residents and their families with respectful and loving care. So much better staffed and resourced than other programs we considered. We will always appreciate how the Staff cared for our mother over a period of years.

We stayed here from August to September of this year, with Craig hospital. They have a handful of rooms leased for patient families that don't fit in the hospital apartments (during construction of new building). We had a great experience here. They don't offer everything they offer to their senior residents of course but we enjoyed our stay none the less. Residents always seemed happy, neighboring units were kind. Laundry service for linens and free laundry available for our personal stuff. General store on our floor available for convenience items and cards. Free hot chocolate and coffee in the lobby. Nice units, quiet and comfortable. Furniture is mostly older but very roomy floorplans and well kept. Lots of closet, linen, pantry space. Nice outdoor area, 5 minute stroll to the hospital. Art bus picks up right out front and can Uber many nearby places for low costs. Would recommend to anyone.
