I am more than happy with this company! From first contact to now they have been responsive, caring and patient with all the moving parts with our family. I own an in home agency myself and when one of my family members needed more then in home care could offer this is the only place that was available as a person not a robot or big franchise being transferred around. They all spent more time than expected making sure all was set up and secure down to the smallest request. Our family member is comfortable and happy here, I have also met a lot of residents and they are all happy here. Only request one of them mentioned was more on site activities, which I'll take. The food is mostly fresh and home cooked for every meal. The staff really makes the residents feel like family and that is something I don't see much in this industry. I can't say enough great things about them all!

Recently we had to find an assisted living place for my brother, he has severe back problems and was wasting away living at home with no one to help care for him. Solange at Appletree has been a blessing to me and my niece, I live 1 1/2 hours away and she has a busy life with 6 children. It is comforting to know he has eyes on him 24/7 and is getting three meals a day plus snacks. Appletree has a welcoming atmosphere, it is clean, and the staff has been very attentive to my brother's needs. I am especially impressed with the coordinator Javon; he has been very helpful and available to answer our questions all hours and regardless of the day of the week. He has a positive and professional attitude, he's very efficient and keeps a clear line of communication with us, not to mention he has a good sense of humor. It has been a real pleasure dealing with him and a relief knowing that we can count on him to follow through with whatever our needs, very reliable. Sometimes in life, we are handed the most difficult unexpected tasks that we know must be completed. Recently my family came to a sudden realization that our dad needed 24 hour care. He was rapidly declining with dementia and could no longer manage his daily medication and food requirements. We began a journey to find the best place for him as soon as possible. It was a weekend and there was a sharp learning curve that had to be addressed. I started calling facilities that met the needs of my dad and the family. We toured a couple and scheduled appointments at a few. From the first contact with Javon on a Sunday morning, I felt a positive connection and comfort. On Monday as we toured, Javan was very understanding, supportive and informative. I observed a clean, open and spacious facility. I observed clean and smiling staff and residents. I smelled good food cooking in the kitchen. We toured a few more places and they just did not check off enough boxes for us. Our thoughts and hearts kept returning to Solange at Apple Tree. The location and price were also within our means. We chose Solange for all the right reasons and are so grateful that our dad was accepted. He has been there for 10 days and is really enjoying it and settling in. I want to thank Javon and the whole staff for welcoming my dad into your community with love and caring. The staff here is amazing. This is an assisted living where you can come and go as you please. The food is healthy served three times a day. You can cook or bake yourself as there is a kitchen in all three buildings. The kitchens include stove refrigerator sink just like at home. This facility has a reapplication interview to see if you are independent enough to fit the guidelines of Solange. Before I moved in I checked out all three buildings as to cleanliness comfort food kitchens where meals are prepared for residents. All passed with flying colors. This is a great place if you want your independence or you need some help. I suggest that you ask for a tour and compare it with other similar places. I love the staff though maybe they have an accent, they are super friendly and always smiling and very polite. In reading reviews I know you cannot please everyone. I was raised to love thy neighbor. Before judging take two witness's and see for yourself. Remember every house has rules. Your room is your home. All the rest of Apple Tree we are a treasured guest where we are blessed with a roof over our head food in our belly and a safe place to be until we are no more. At Solange at Apple Tree, staff turnover is a revolving door. The lack of stability traumatized my family member. Exemplary Solange at Apple Tree staff who genuinely care about the residents are terminated, and Solange’s owner reports them to Adult Protective Services for neglect. Any alleged neglect is the fault of the owner. On several occasions I observed only one staff person responsible for 16 residents. I consistently observed that Solange at Apple Tree is unable to acquire enough staff who agree to work there. Almost all staff who work at Solange at Apple Tree remain there for a brief time, departing as soon as they secure another job. As a family member, I developed a close relationship with many Solange at Apple Tree staff. Employees who departed on their own volition informed me that Solange at Apple Tree staff are treated poorly by management and are paid a very low wage, without benefits. Because Solange at Apple Tree is abysmally understaffed, they are completely unaware whenever residents wander away. Solange at Apple Tree is located on a busy street with fast moving cars. It is only a matter of time until a resident step out into the traffic, and is struck and killed. When my family member wandered away, I was not notified because Solange at Apple Tree staff didn’t notice a resident was missing. I was the person who discovered my family member wasn’t there. Please DO NOT place your loved one at inadequately staffed and negligent Solange at Apple Tree! Because reviewers must select a number of stars, I was forced to give Solange at Apple Tree one undeserving star.
