I have worked at New Dawn Memory Care for about six months now. We have some of the most wonderfully caring team members. Our cohesive team puts caring for the residents first and foremost. The Executive Director, Susan, has put forth so much effort to build a positive, compassionate, and well-trained team. I am proud to say that our residents receive a high level of care on a daily basis. Our number one goal is the make every day a special day for each and every resident! Whether that means a tea party or a painting class, we always have something fun and exciting going on! My time with Bill was refreshing. Bill listened to the concerns, and was able to address how New Dawn would be able to not only support my loved ones, but also ME. Bill genuinely cares for those that he serves and their families. The community is beautiful, and they way they serve residents made me feel comfortable. They also have a great activities and engagement program. Bill answered all of my questions, he is a great listener and is a wonderful representative of New Dawn. I would recommend placing your loved one at New Dawn.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all that New Dawn meant to us and the caring shown to my husband, George. His last days were spent in a place where he, and we, all felt safe and comfortable. Everyone at New Dawn was so very kind and courteous and treated the residents with such respect. It was refreshing to see how they all work together as a team! I'm so thankful that our path brought us to New Dawn Memory Care !

What a wonderful place to leave a loved one! We brought our mother here today and even though putting your loved one in a home is a hard thing to do, it is so much easier when you see caring people introduce themselves and immediately take over in caring for them! From the minute we drive up this happened with Rich and Bill and continued with Cindy checking in on her medical needs and the rest of the staff keeping food warm for her as they knew she would be hungry when she got there after lunchtime. Such caring people deserve praise and thanks!

My sister and I recently moved our Mom here after a disastrous experience at another IL-AL-Memory Care combo facility. We toured 10 different properties before we picked New Dawn. Mom suffers from Lewy Body Dementia and thrives better in a smaller place. Our Mom continues to thank us for moving her to such a beautiful house where the food is good and the staff are very caring and extremely kind. She loves the activities and the coziness of the community. Its not too big and overwhelming for her so she doesnt get lost in the shuffle. We love their COTTAGE concept: the private room-full bathroom is where you sleep and shower and the REST of the building is your home (living room, dining room, kitchen) to wander anywhere or participate in fun activities. We also LOVE that the staff is always available and not far away from any one room at this 16 room cottage. I visit her Tues-Thu-Sat and get a chance to interact with the staff who are ALL great!!!! Go visit this wonderful community!

My wife was admitted to New Dawn Memory Care on Feb. 27, 2020 while I was in the Hospital. I have not been able to visit her due to the Corona Virus lock down but have had many telephone conversations with Nancy Britton, the Director as well as other members of their staff. They all are very pleasant and courteous to talk to and understand all my concerns and honor my requests.Recently the Activity Director asked me to assist with my wifes digital tablet that she used for audio books as it was not charging properly. I was able to retrieve the unit and took it home to find the correct charger. Returned the next day with the correct charger and all is well with that.My wife is receiving excellent care and I am satisfied with the reports I receive from New Dawn. I believe she is in a good place!

My girlfriend works here, she absolutely loves taking care of the residents, it can be tricky taking care of dementia residents but if its what you love to do than it will be the right job for you.Ive seen some bad things on here about New Dawn, a lot of it is very exaggerated or false in order to start drama for attention...The only thing I wish was for there to be more staff per resident but staff does a good job working hard with what they have.

I cannot say enough good things about New Dawn Memory Care! The staff are caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The management team is will to step in and help where needed and are caring to all the staff and residents. The food is delectable! Activity staff come up with fun and creative ideas to keep the residents engaged to their fullest potential. If you are looking for a dedicated memory care this is the place to be!

Since I started working here Ive seen that Their staff are one of the most nicest and caring people I have ever encountered and not just towards the residents but to fellow coworkers as well. New Dawn, especially Amber, was so helpful in getting my dad into their facility when we needed to move him from a previous memory care in Montrose, CO. They eased my fears that we wouldnt be able to get him in a new place. They made the transition easy for him, and us.They were kind and compassionate. The staff seems great any time we have been there.They engage the residents and are kind and helpful.t is difficult to leave a loved one in a memory care, but I feel very confident and comfortable with the care my dad is getting at New Dawn!

I have visited this community many times and each time it has been clean and most importantly, I have seen residents who look content and well cared for and staff that is attentive and caring. The Executive Director has an obvious passion for the care of elders and makes sure her community and team create an environment of warmth and quality care for each person living there.

My dear mother had been lovingly cared for by the kind attentive staff at New Dawn for almost a year. I stop in to see mom almost daily and have a clear constant picture of the staff, their attentiveness, the level of understanding they have for the residents dementia, and their responsiveness to each of them as individuals.The truth is..THEY CARE and they take care of them with tenderness and patience. The negative posts here concern me...so I have taken a fresh discerninlook at this place where my mom resides to see if I am missing something...my conclusion is that these extreme negative remarks are disgruntled people...perhaps ex employees. The staff and management, nursing and facilities maintenance have been graciously, and immediately responsive to the various questions and needs that arise in caring for mom. I highly recommend this New Dawn and its dear people.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about New Dawn Memory Care. Their Radiant lifestyle sets them apart from the competition. The staff goes that extra mile to ensure their residents are well loved and taken care of. The building layout cannot be matched for memory care. It is the perfect precision for the elder with memory care deficits. I love the continuum of buildings as the elder advances in their disease process. The love and compassion here at New Dawn Memory Care comes first hand!!
