I put myself in here as a resident and left after 6 weeks. Horrible people to care for the residents and patients. Uncaring, unwilling to help, sarcastic. They barged into my room at least 12-14 times a day, mostly to empty the trash (?) Refused to knock and sometimes stared at me going to the bathroom and wouldn't answer me as to why. No one wanted to push my wheelchair to dinner and I sat in hallway until they took me back to my room a couple of times after dinner. The manager and her sidekick were cold and not even condesending. I WAS NOT GIVEN ALL OF MY MEDICINE EACH DAY AND THEN THE STAFF WASN'T GOING TO GIVE ME ANY OF MY MEDS FOR A WEEK AND WOULDN'T TELL ME WHY. Just stop my diabetes and high blood pressure medicines and others). The staff just said It's procedure and when I asked what procedure, the two staff members just giggled and said "Oh well" and took off. Then they came back and 3 of them surrounded my door yelling at me. They said there was no nurse on staff to talk to until after the weekend. I had an emergent need to go to the hospital and had to call 911 to get there. If I had waited longer, the surgeon said I would have had to have surgery. I literally had to escape to get out of there. I wouldn't wish anyone's horrible mother-in-law to live at Broadmoor Court.! (Oh yeah, it's pretty there.)

The thought of having to place your loved one in the care of someone else can be a difficult bridge to cross over. Broadmoor Court was a breath of fresh air. After visiting well over 10 establishments we knew that Bethesda homes were different. Three of 10+ establishments we visited were run by Bethesda. You could feel the difference. We knew that Broadmoor Court was the right fit. It was still a difficult decision to make and it was a chapter in our lives that came all too soon. A sense of community, sincerity, and professionalism was present at all of the Bethesda homes we visited. They meet their residence where they are at. They encourage involvement and community but also respect their privacy. If we are being honest, the job these people who do from the cooking, cleaning, managing, nursing, social activities, can be and often is a thankless job looking from the outside in. People take this for granted until they are ones in need of those services. No place is going to be perfect. To expect perfection is unrealistic. To strive for perfection and achieve excellence is what Broadmoor Court and Bethesda do, day in and day out.

My mom spent her last year and a few months at Broadmoor Court. The administration and staff are amazing. It has a very open and spacious feeling and they are very accommodating. I really appreciate how much the they loved and cared for my mom. They are absolutely the best! I would say it is definitely the nicest of the less expensive assisted living facilities. I had moved my mother from a Brookdale facility due to their lack of care, taking SO long to come when she needed help and the constant raising of care prices. I had no problems with Broadmoor Court in this area. I cannot say enough good things about the treatment and care of their residents. I highly recommend Broadmoor Court!

My father spent a year living at the Broadmoor Court, and he truly considered it home. He loved his sunny room, the wonderful people working there, the nursing team, the great management. Everyone at this assisted living home was extremely friendly and supportive, and my father is dearly missing them now that he had to move to a nursing home. We cannot imagine a better place for an elderly parent to live in. The building is beautiful, the organization of services is impeccable, and if I could give them 10 stars, I surely would. Thank you, Broadmoor Court, for the amazing care and love you give to all your residents.

My grandmother currently lives here. The communication with family is poor. The upkeep of bathrooms is poor. They will find reasons to continue to raise the monthly costs. The only repercussion I have is to make a different living situation for my parents if-when they become physically beyond my capacity to help.

If I could give Broadmoor Court a thousand stars, I would. My mom has been living here for nearly a year now and shes extremely happy. And shes quite opinionated and sometimes very hard to please! Im overwhelmed by the very caring staff and level of community-family they create here. Today, at a family-invited Thanksgiving feast the staff prepared, we heard that this facility has the lowest turnover rate (for staff) for their corporation state-wide, in an industry known for high turnover rates, and Im so not surprised. Excellent leadership and administration... Im so very grateful there was a spot for my mom when we needed it. I cant recommend Broadmoor Court enough! Thanks so much to Linda and team!!

Im a nurse at another assisted living community. I toured recently and the residents were lovely the staff was amazingly warm and connected to the residents. Chasity actually did my tour and she was very in touch with the residents she referred to them as family. I noticed the staff smiling happy and spoke highly of their community and management. One specific employee told me that the managers go out of their way to make sure employees feel appreciated. As a nurse in another community I know how important happy staff can be. Great job Broadmoor Court not only is your community beautiful but your residents and staff are amazing.

The facility is beautiful, comfortable and well-kept. There are wonderful activities every day, and most importantly every single resident that we spoke to had wonderful things to say about Broadmoor Court and seem very happy. That is the most important litmus test in my book. I have worked as a nurse's aid in many facilities and I was extremely impressed with Broadmoor Court. My husband, sister in law and husband all joked about moving in with my mother in law, it's such a nice facility. It seems like the next best thing to home. I am confident Mama will be very happy at Broadmoor Court!

Before a decision is made about where to move your elderly parent(s) go to Broadmoor Court Assisted Living. After much searching, touring, and feeling like there were no great assisted living options for my dad, my daughter suggested I go to Broadmoor Court. She was a receptionist there for a few years. Broadmoor Court is a beautiful place with nice rooms, good food, and a lot of activities. While other places feel like nursing homes due to their hospital environments, Broadmoor Court feels like home. More importantly, the people at Broadmoor Court are like family. The people who work at Broadmoor Court are exceptional and call me every time there is any type of concern. My dad is genuinely happy there and tells me that he loves the staff and they take good care of him.It is an 'aging in place ' home, which means you never have to put your loved one through the stress of moving ever again. My dad is happy about that because moving id stressful for anyone, but it is very hard on elderly people. The Director, Linda, gets to know the residents. She does not hide in her office. Cheddar the Activity Director, keeps everyone busy encouraging participation but not pushing it. I could go down the line about how awesome everyone is but it would take pages. So in closing, I just want to encourage you to arrange a tour. You will be pleasantly surprised.

You can feel the compassion and love they feel for the residents I heard referred to as family. I enjoy my visits to Broadmoor Court the management team helped me understand the policy on signing in communication form. The nurse was very friendly and accommodating. I just want to say i work here as a care manager and i absolutely LOVE it! i love my coworkers and my residents! 🙂 I also have the best bosses around they truly care about the residents and the employees i actually feel worth something here, not just another employee working!! I will say this is the best facility i have ever worked at! I love how everyone of my coworkers always have a smile on their face! The residents are amazing, its like i adopted family! I'm a hospice nurse coming in to provide nursing care at this facility. I've always been impressed with the management and staff. Linda, Chasity and Chedar are always welcoming, engaging and professional. They show daily, their dedication to the residents that live here. The communication regarding needs, not just for the resident but also the families/staff is wonderful. The Qmaps and caregivers are in tune to the residents they care for. I always feel blessed when I get to visit Broadmoor Court.
