I moved my mom from Portland, Oregon in August of 2021 and Morningstar at Jordan is the 3rd assisted facility she has lived. The staff has been wonderful through the transition, getting to know her (and her very specific needs), and now she's already at a point that I can only say has been overwhelming incredible - for her and me. She can be a "challenge"...a stroke 5 1/2 years ago that left her paralyzed in the right side and left her suffering from expressive aphasia (when you know what you want to say, but you have trouble saying it). After being very self-sufficient as a retired art professor, then in 24 hours, finding herself in her current condition has been emotional and very frustrating, which she oftentimes takes out on others so I can't say enough about the care she is receiving. Most importantly, I see the change in her demeanor, actions and willingness to engage with others (for the first time since her stroke). My most heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the entire team at Morningstar Jordan for what they do....all have my greatest respect.

My parents moved into Morningstar Jordan 3 months ago. The move in process was clear and relatively easy. All of the staff have just been superb. They really care about the tenants and are always willing to listen to my concerns. They provide many types of activities and social events for everyone. I highly recommend MorningStar Jordan.

My mom has been living at Morning Star Jordan since it first opened. She is truly so happy and loves her caretakers like family. I do not worry when I am not there, as she is always looked after and cared for by the amazing staff. Morning Star is a wonderful community and we are so lucky to be a part of it!

I can honestly say that I have never left a review before (for anyone/any place). However, I wanted to take a moment to recognize MorningStar at Jordan for their love and care. My father recently a passed away, but he was able to reside here for the last couple of years of his life. They provided a true community environment. He formed many friendships and stayed active. As his need for care increased, so did the attention and support of the staff. They made sure he was able to remain with familiar, caring faces the whole time. There are people in this world like Nick, Brad, Jackie, Octavia (and others) that give so much of themselves... and my family will forever be grateful for them. Thank you MorningStar for the care and love.

You always worry about giving up the care of your family to strangers. It cannot he helped. Their health, wellness, and daily activities are forever changed, and you have to hope that you havent chosen a terrible place for their final years. After having experienced two grandparents in the general retirement area, and one of those grandparents later in memory care, I can say with confidence that the family chose well with Morning Star. Yes. There are always difficulties in communication, insurance, billing, and everything else that you might expect from dealing with any sort of business entity at all. This simply comes with the territory. But what makes me happy with how my grandparents lived out their time at Morning Star is the respect, dignity, and help that they got from a great staff. If my grandfather was feeling ill, the staff would bring soup to his room. If he needed help with medicine, there were services to assist in managing his pills. Finally when he died, the staff was helpful to the family in planning for my grandmother. In memory care, my grandmother was taken to every meal, she was brought to the daily activity session, and was never just left in her room to fade away. Her defiance was met with patience, and the staff always let us know about anything she might need (socks, pants, etc.) The last few years of someones life is an uncomfortable topic. Death is an uncomfortable topic. But Im so happy that Morning Star made my grandparents last days more bearable. My Mother lives at MorningStar at Jordan, and in the last few months, the community has made some wonderful changes. The activities programming is just wonderful. Robin and her team keep all the residents so busy. Also, the food has improved leaps and bounds from 6 months ago. Ramon has done a wonderful job bringing this community together.

Morning Star at Jordan is a lovely community to visit. All of the residents appeared happy and seemed to be having a enjoyable time. I was surprised at how engaged everyone was; there was so much laughter. The facility was clean and the staff, while professional, were incredibly personable. Clearly, Morning Star is a great place to be.

We moved Jack, who was suffering from assorted ailments, from CA to MorningStar at Jordan at the end of 2016 through April 2017. He had an incredible experience in interacting with the staff and residents and was particularly impressed with the quality and quantity of food. The quality of compassion and caring he received was awesome from his angels as he called the staff!
