We looked hard for a place for our parents and there weren't many reviews. So I am taking time to help others in their search. This place was built by someone who really loves and cares for the elderly. More like a lovely resort hotel than an assisted living place. It's got a great, uplifted vibration to it, which I think is so helpful when we are needing care like this at the end of life. The staff are loving and amazing. The dining room is elegant and great care goes into the preparation of the meals. I couldn't have imagined such a supportive environment for our parents. My dad lived upstairs in Assisted Living area since October. The care he received was wonderful. Our family visited every day, and everyone we met has been quite extraordinary. It's not easy to find a place that has this quality and consistency of support. My dad arrived here in October walking easily on his own and coming really only for the meals and socializing. He was living on his own for awhile and it was getting to be more work than he wanted to do to drive and shop. Amazingly, he had a rather sudden decline in his health within about a month and needed quite a bit of care. We were so relieved and grateful that he could remain here and receive the care he needed. In fact, they've helped cover his care needs every step of the way. It's a huge blessing that we didn't need to move Dad to nursing care. He just passed peacefully last week, and the amount of concern and kindness from all the staff is hard to describe. We can't thank the staff enough. Dad received hospice care from the hospice team that is part of the facility's medical support. They were angels, too. (A shout out to Bloom Hospice - huge thanks to Betsy, Hope, and their colleagues). My mom lived in the downstairs memory wing 2 years ago, and also received loving care. We couldn't have been more grateful for everything Cherry Hills provided for her. Angels do this kind of work. Adding this note for families who are searching for the right place: my dad moved here looking forward to some social interaction with others, and was good health when he moved in. But he found that there were almost no others (just one man) at the facility who were mentally clear like he was. He adapted to the new reality, but it would have been more stimulating had he had more people to talk with. As a service, he spent time with many people there who were pleasant but mentally diminished. They were not close to his level of clarity. Perhaps there are more people like that than he was able to meet. But if your parent is clear-minded and physically able to, he would be better off in an independent living place with tiered levels of additional support as needed.

Cherry Hills Assisted Living has been a wonderful place for my mom to live - the staff has been wonderful to her and the rest of our family. Their care team has provided a level of care that has allowed her to thrive and feel comfortable and safe. She feels that she has found a community that she can call home - and has made so many new friends - even some she now considers family. Thank you for providing a level of care that is unsurpassed.

I worked at CHAL for almost 2 years and it was by far my favorite job! I loved working there and getting to know the residents! I miss working there and if I didn't move I would mostly likely still be there.

We are humbled and grateful for everything the Cherry Hills Assisted Living and Memory Care team has done for our mother, especially during this tough time. We have tried in many ways to show them how much we appreciate them but it just doesn't quite do the job. Maybe writing this so they can see it and hear it yet again will help. We have researched and experienced other care homes/facilities and can say with full confidence there's nothing like CHAL. Thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts. And be sure to know this "thank you" also comes directly from mommas' heart more than you know.

I first worked at Cherry Hills a couple of years ago. Having quite a bit of experience with both assisted living and memory care with my own mother, I was very impressed with Cherry Hills. It's a beautiful community with an extremely caring and involved staff that really cares about residents and takes the time to get to know each one and their families. As an employee, I was treated exceptionally well and only heard good things from other staff members. A year after I left, they had a personnel change and asked if I could come back temporarily to fill in. I had such a good experience working there, and also leaving, that I was happy to come back and help. A year and a half later (just the last two weeks) they again asked if I could come help and I was happy to do so, also happy to see many beloved residents and their families. I think one individual's unpleasant conversations with one other staff person in an organization as large as Cherry Hills is terribly unfortunate, but it is certainly not a reflection on the organization as a whole, the way staff are treated and the exceptional care provided to residents. I couldn't be happier working with Cherry Hills assisted living! I have been at "CHAL" for a year and a half, and out of my 10 years in senior living Cherry Hills assisted living is far and away the best. The food is fantastic, great activities and events, loving, and compassionate care staff. Can't even give the executive team enough praise, especially in the covid craziness, they have been the staffs rock keeping us all grounded, and keeping our little extended family happy and healthy.

Incredibly beautiful community! Well kept and clean. They have great management that care about their resident more than "for the money". They do everything they can especially during this pandemic to keep all residents happy and thriving through activities, allowing outdoor visits, but only allowing medical providers in to ensure Covid-19 stays out of the community. I would highly recommend for any families looking for a new home for their loved one.

My dad moved into CHAL when it opened in the memory center. (2.5 years ago) Staff and care is excellent. They not only care about my dad but also they are very supportive of my mom. CHAL I don't think we could have found a better spot for our family. Thank you.

Moving a parent from their home into assisted living is difficult. However, we made the right move by moving my mother into Cherry Hills Assisted Living (CHAL). The staff is fantastic and the building is beautiful. They made her feel at home and not alone. Eventually, we had to move her to memory care in the same building which was extremely difficult on us, not so much our mother. Once again, the staff could not have been better and attentive. My mother made a few friends which was encouraged by staff. They have many daily activities and exercise class which is important. I would visit several times a week and we could go on walks along the Highline Canal and in the park which CHAL is built by. I have visited many memory care facilities, and Cherry Hills is one of the best if not the best. I truly appreciate all the staff that work there and they deserve a big thank you!

The facility is beautiful, the staff are great!!! My mother has been here for over 15 months and we couldn't be happier. They have a lot of activities for the residents and we enjoy the happy hours they have on Thursdays. The Holiday dinners are fantastic. Tim Brasel
