I have had the pleasure of working with Sheila and the staff at CCRV for many years as a professional. The longevity of the employees speaks for itself. And also the residents! COVID was SO challenging for communities and CCRV went out of its way to keep their residents engaged and healthy. Every resident detail is paid attention to: Food, lifestyle, entertainment, engagement, encouragement, community involvement, ongoing education…. The list goes on and on. While I absolutely adore Sheila Anthony and her true commitment to her community, I know it takes a village. CCRV is actually the full package. On the 14th of May 2019, Cliff and I moved to Cherry CreekRetirement Village from our condo at Heather Garden in Aurora. It seemed like an impossible new adventure that might kill me even though I knew it was something we needed to try. Regardless of the fact that it had both open living as well as assisted living which we might need at a later time due to Cliffs advancing illness, it was still scary and not a sure cure to our health problems.To my surprise the staff and the helpers were all so reassuring and loving even down to an endless supply of hugs at the end of a difficult day. We both felt so lost and like strangers in this new place. But each week, after meeting more and more other residents and sharing stories, the strangeness faded away and we found ourselves feeling more like members of a new family.The food was wonderful most days and the kitchen staff was more than willing to change or modify some recipes to compensate for the challenges. The people in the restaurant became our friends and worked so very hard to please us and make us feel special. They were incredibly intelligent and remembered our eating habits almost like a mother or family member.We both came to love the staff and felt like they really loved us back.Although it is still not quite like home, we both feel safe and happyEven the men, who maintain this large building and fix all the problems that occasionally occur, feel more like brothers trying to make our lives comfortable and safe.We are grateful to the staff, including the people who sit at the front desk directing us and making sure our lives are safe and happy.Thanks to Cherry Creek Retirement for being our new home.Sincerely,Sheila Sherman

Bar none, some of the best staff you will find anywhere in Colorado! My father has been there for over a year and was still very dependent. He needed help after the fall and EVERYONE pitched in to help with aid, rules, insurance info, and extra care idea. I never knew anyone, except family, would go to those lengths for someone. Big compliments to Shannon who got us into the facility; Marie who runs the front desk and lept into action to help my father; and to Dennis (director) who knows enough to hire fabulous people, give them ownership over tasks and personally help with a hundred details I had to deal with from (quite literally) 1000 miles away.Thank you to Cherry Creek for such a wonderful start to our voyage. If you care, please take this facility seriously. Trust me, it matters.

My Mom has been living in the facility since January, 2019. The experience has been excellent. From the initial meeting with Shannon in sales, through the past 10 months. Dennis the director, is always accessible and very responsive. He truly cares!!! The staff is helpful and pleasant. Marie at the front desk, always has a greets you with a smile. Tina the driver bends over backward to accommodate everyones needs. She is supportive and thoughtful. The property is well maintained and you quickly become a member of the community.We are very pleased and highly recommend the Cherry Creek Retirement Village.

If I could give CCRV 10 stars, I would! They helped my dad when our family needed it most. They personalize every moment, even when you come in for a tour they write a VIP greeting with your name on it! Every staff member has treated us with patience and kindness, especially Shannon. She goes above and beyond to parallel the needs of the resident with what the community has to offer. I trust that my dad is being treated fairly, and they are keeping a close eye on him without overwhelming him! The food is great, its a truly beautiful building and all of the residents seem very happy! The units are spacious and well kept. The maintenance staff is efficient and does a wonderful job customizing the units. We love visiting my dad here. CCRV really did change my dads life, and our familys. I cant say enough good things about this place!

My dad lived at Cherry Creek as did my grandma before him! It was a beautiful experience for both of them and I am so grateful that they both had the opportunity to spend their late lives there. It amazes me that a place that has been around so long has been able to maintain the level of excellence that they offer. Most of the staff that helped my grandma was still there to help my dad. Unbelievable. Thank you CCRV!!!

A community is really about the staff and at CCRV they are second to none. It starts at the top with Jennifer, the Executive Director, who is an experienced, caring, and can do leader who ensured everyday that her entire team delivered on exceeding my familys expectations . Juanita, Director of Care who made sure our mother in laws needs were always met. Juanita is thegold standard of care, competence and professionalism and she amazed us and our family. There may be newer communities but you will be hard pressed to find better people and thats what really matters in the end.

I moved to Cherry Creek Retirement Village in January of 2013. It has been a wonderful move for me. A friend of mine moved there and invited me to come for lunch and to see her apartment followed by the weekly happy hour. I went, but had no plans of making a move. After having a lovely lunch (that I didnt have to cook or clean up for myself!) and seeing a couple different floor plans, I was impressed. I didnt sleep well that night because I was planning in my head where all my furniture would go in the 2 bedroom apartment I decided I wanted. I called back the next morning and told Angie at Cherry Creek that I wanted the apartment. Eleven days later I was living there!! The biggest selling point for me was that free transportation was provided to my medical appointments, grocery stores, concerts, sports games, etc. I have Macular Degeneration and no longer drive so I was thrilled to not have to depend on my friends and family to take me everywhere anymore! Also included in my rent is 2 meals each day (I can have 3 if I want but I have a nice kitchen so I usually cook 1 meal each day), weekly housekeeping and laundry of all my sheets and towels, cable, internet, heat, air conditioning, water, etc… Everyone is so friendly here and they say hello even if they dont know your name. The staff, however, somehow knows everyones names! We have a resident council of which I was elected Vice President last year and I am enjoying setting up all the entertainment and speakers for our meetings. It has been such a great move for me.
