I want to share my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care my mom has received at Chelsea Place since she joined in January 2024. The dedication and compassion of the staff in managing her dementia have significantly improved her quality of life. It's clear that Chelsea Place navigates the challenges of dementia with patience and understanding, which has meant so much to my family. This place feels like more than just a facility; it's a true home for my mother. The commitment to fostering a nurturing environment is evident, and I encourage anyone considering care for a loved one to look here. The empathy and kindness shown by the team are truly remarkable. Thank you, Chelsea Place, for being such an integral part of her life and for the comfort you provide to families like ours. We are genuinely grateful for everything you do!

Chelsea Place has provided the opportunity for an entirely new relationship with my mom. I get to visit her and have extended, genuine interactions while not having to worry about managing her home, food, laundry and prior in-home care. Mom is living her best life now, considering the circumstances. She has delightful meals, professional care in a bright, clean facility, and social interaction that we were not able to provide at home. In a situation where it seems like we have no easy decisions left, choosing Chelsea Place was a home run.

Chelsea Place has provided excellent care for over 4 of my guardianship clients throughout the years. They have great communication and individualized care. For one of my challenging clients they were able to engage her and even make her a name tag, giving her the very important role of "assistant life engagement specialist", where she would teach other residents how to bead their own jewelry. I would recommend them for memory care for your loved one.

This is a bittersweet review as my mother lost her fight this morning to Alzheimer's disease. She had been living at Chelsea Place for about a year. When things got bad with mom's condition about 3 years ago she entered a memory care located in a beautiful high rise building near the Cherry Creek area. We had hopes they would care for mom as she deserved. They did not. She wasn't properly assisted with hygiene, helped to eat, dress and was just left alone to her own dementia. She deteriorated rapidly. We moved her out and into another facility nearby. The second place was better, but $10k a month was steep and they complained about her wandering (in a locked unit). She had to move again. With some guidance from a referral service, we landed at Chelsea Place. On touring the facility had a warm and happy vibe to it so Mom moved right in. I can't say enough kind things about the loving care my mother received there. The staff kept her active and involved, made sure she ate, even if some days she needed some prompting. In a few months her condition improved. She was alert, active, talking, walking every day and seemed in good spirits despite her cognitive decline. Most days when I'd visit, there was some activity taking place, be it live music, kids from a nearby high school having lunch with them, craft activities, etc, etc. The first home she was in only parked her in front of the TV. She was so loved there. On her final day most of the staff there came by her room to say goodbye and tell us how attached they had become to my mom - several left in tears. I really feel like Chelsea looks at the residents as their family, and treats them as they would want their own loved ones treated. The staff at Chelsea are angles on earth. Their commitment to service to others and caring for those in need is truly a calling. Mom was blessed to have had such gentle and loving care from so many during her final year. Thank you all!

When your loved one has a terrible disease like Alzheimer's, having caregivers trained specifically in the care of a progressive brain disease is paramount. The staff at Chelsea Place is warm, empathetic and most of all loving to the individuals living in the community. They meet each resident on a human level to effectively meet their needs, while promoting independence. It's never easy to do what they do but it is always worth it and the feeling you get at Chelsea Place proves that.

If you can go else where. There is an atmosphere of bullying that comes from the top and interferes with the care of the residents. Staff is caring but does not have resources to give individuals focused care. Here you must come on a daily basis to check in on your loved one to make sure they are clean and fed. Even then when requesting a shower or a medication you are met with opposition. So if you can go elsewhere.

Walking through the doors of Chelsea place, I'm immediately impressed with the welcoming lobby and the even more welcoming staff. Not only is the building beautiful, its functionality for its residents allows safety and happiness. The interactions I've had with residents and staff, I'm always left with a feeling of contentment. People are very happy here!! I absolutely love this community!!

The staff is very helpful and caring at Chelsea Place. From the first contact to move in they were supportive of all the logistical and emotional issues we went through. We had to have furniture sent there and then assembled. They made sure it got to the room and even helped assemble it. They helped with many of the "small" things like labeling clothing and other items. All the things that just seemed overwhelming when taken together became doable. They were straight forward discussing costs and the services provided at different levels of care. The nurse that came to do the assessment was great and she continues to provide that extra level of care. She made such a positive impression during the assessment that wife was happy when we arrived and she was there to introduce my wife to the facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful with the residents. They always greet the residents and their family members by a first name and a smile. The front desk person is super knowledgeable and super helpful. All in all I believe this community has built a compassionate environment that supports the residents dignity and meets their needs.

After personally inspecting over 25 memory care facilities, I chose Chelsea place. I decided on CP for my wife because of their staff, the facilities, the activities, and the smiles on the residents faces. I know my wife is safe, cared for and loved. It's all I was hoping for.

Chelsea Place is a Godsend and literally saved my Mother-In-Law's life! She was on hospice care prior to moving there and was declining rapidly. Natalie and Trisha put together a plan with their staff that turned her completely around in a matter of days and today she is no longer on hospice, she is happy and at peace. I am there almost daily and can attest to the incredible level of care and compassion I witness every single one of the staff members provide the residents regardless of the time of day and for me it feels like a family that has stepped in to help us when we needed it the most. There is not enough space here to fully convey my profound gratitude and utmost respect for everyone at Chelsea Place and I often ask the Lord to bless them in immeasurable ways. I highly recommend this place if you have a loved one that needs memory care, there simply is no place comparable!

My parents moved to Chelsea Place in 2018. My mother passed away shortly after moving in. The care and compassion shown for my father, my siblings and my mom was beautiful and loving. My father stayed after my mother's passing and all the staff embraced him through his grieving and adjustment to being alone. Today he is happy, cared for and provided with activities to keep him busy and well. The crafts, drives around town (or driving for ice cream), the celebrations, the "grand-friends", connection with the local high school students, the unique activities and the one-on-one interaction are fun to watch and special for all residents. They love and care for him as if he was their own and for that we are VERY fortunate. All the staff is inclusive and loving --- truly a community. Jenni Dill's creativity with the elders and the activities is a special gift. In addition to the above, the staff at Chelsea Place took care of our father during the pandemic. While they were navigating the unknown from a health professional standpoint they were also trying to figure out how to handle family members interacting remotely and the ever changing pandemic protocols; all while keeping residents safe, engaged and healthy. While they didn't come away from COVID without loss, they did everything they could to keep staff and residents safe while still caring for them when we couldn't. It was a comfort to know when we couldn't be with our father he was safe and loved at Chelsea Place. I can't express enough thanks for the care, love and communication provided during normal times; and more importantly during the lockdown when we were unable to be with him. Chelsea Place and all the staff (Brian knows how to hire and keep great employees) are amazing!

Chelsea Place was absolutely the right choice! When I needed to place my sister in a memory care facility I spent several days in Aurora touring different facilities in the area. I had an extensive list of criteria that I was looking for. Chelsea Place not only met all of my requirements but stood out among the others. In the year plus since my sister has moved in I have only become more convinced that this was the right choice. Their level of care and concern for the residents is second to none and the variety and number of activities they offer is exceptional. My sister is happier now than I have seen her in years. I know she will never recover but she is living out her life in a safe, caring, environment where she is treated with dignity and respect. I would give Chelsea Place my highest recommendation.

Both my parents went to Chelsea Place in early 2018. We were very pleased with the care and attention that was given to them. My mother passed in October of 2018 and the staff was very comforting. My father is still at the facility and is quite happy. They are very good at keeping the residents engaged and they have many activities to keep them active. Before covid they had high school kids that would come in and interact with the residents, they would take them to an elementary school so the kids could read to them, drives to see the sites and get them out of the facility. During covid they had many activities inside to keep them active. I hope they are going to be able to get back to outside activities again soon. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for your loved one.

Moved my dad in late December 2020. Very good to him and very responsive to everything. After a month and a half we had a meeting with staff to see what I thought of the faculty and any issues we had. At that time all was good but over the course of the next couple of months. My family and I had issues trying to speak to anyone at different times of the day, Zoom calls were scheduled and never happened due to not scheduled on their side of it. My dad is incontinent and had to scream to get someone in his room to use the restroom, found him sopping wet a few times , soaked through his clothes into his chair. He had residents in his room all the time and would become angered that they would not leave. Stuff went missing , even a gold St. Christopher metal taken right off his neck, put in her pocket for safe keeping. Long story short they asked that dad move out, Thank the Lod this happened. best thing ever. The lack of communication from staff to family's is non existent, The rotation of staff is constant. Went through two directors, two head nurses and multiple caregivers. None of which follow through with anything they tell you. Also had staff berating my dad for being asked to leave. Place always has a dirty urine smell throughout the whole building. We were not really happy .

I cannot put into words how relieved my family was once we found Chelsea Place! My mom had to go from assisted living to a memory care facility after my dad passed away. I wished we had found Chelsea place sooner! We were devastated by the lack of care she was receiving at the original facility we chose. Working with the staff at Chelsea Place was a COMPLETELY different experience from what we have dealt with in her previous facility and the assisted living complex before that. They have been incredibly accommodating and caring! My mom hasnt looked and sounded this good in a long time! And this is all during the difficult time of a pandemic. I cant wait to see how she thrives with the wonderful staff and community of Chelsea Place once life gets back to normal! We are so grateful for the kind and loving professionals there! They are truly the best! I could not recommend them more!!

I want to share my experience with Chelsea Place. My heart Mom spent the past 2 years there. It was the perfect place for her. She was a walker .She walked 24-7.(almost). It was a small enough facility that she had someones eye on her all the time. The staff was exceptional!!! They became family to me too. If and When my mom would fall, i was always called immediately!! Ruth grew to love all the staff. I heard tell, she would lay her hands on them and pray for them. They were her special family. The activities were fantastic !! I loved the days when I could join in and paint etc. with Ruth. Even through this COVID mess, they made sure the residents got activity time. When it became possible, they even took the residents outside ( socially distanced) and had games, and activities. During COVID Chelsea made family visits possible the best way they could, by ZOOM, window visits,(with a phone). and later, social distance porch visits. I was so thankful for this, as my MAMA Ruths health started to fail..It was so wonderful to see her face to face on the front porch. God took Ruth home to be with him 3 weeks ago. The Staff were so supportive.. They would talk to me, and check on Ruth repeatedly.. The Hospice Nurse Maggie, was was the best !!! She kept Ruth so comfortable. I HAVE NOTHING BUT THE UPMOST PRAISE FOR CHELSEA PLACE! After 2 years, they became my family too. .To see the way they watch, and care for the residents, was comforting. they gave their whole hearts, souls and love, when the families were not able to visit during this COVID;Virus. THANK YOU CHELSEA PLACE for filling in for me when I could not be there. You are, and always will be special to me. Candy Clabaugh.

This is a place thats expertise is dealing with residents that are very involved with Alzheimer or advanced dementia. They specialize in difficult cases. My mother kept getting kicked out of places and we were literally days from her being homeless, even memory care places would not take her. It took them 3 hours to get her from the door of the ambulance through their door and they did not give up on us-her. We are so thankful for a place that understands these kinds of residents. They are very creative in dealing with the unique concerns each have and even makes special foods for mom since she is a pesceterian. If memory care is what you are looking for there is no better and we have been in several places. Even if you have a parent who can be unmanageable, this place is a godsend. Cost wise, it is also relatively more affordable then many place that charge upwards of 10k.

I notice that many care centers have lots of 5 star reviews. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our mother who was suffering from a dementia complicated with anxiety, paranoia and other emotional problems had been turned down by several facilities. Chelsea Place not only took her, but their truly compassionate care has her feeling more secure than she has for years. They have a true dedication to their clients, real creativity in the programs programs and support they offer, and a consistency of care that is everything one might hope for and many claim they have, but few really deliver. They have offered as much of a turn-key situation as is possible, no extra charges, or fears of escalating costs if this or that happens. We are so thankful to have found them.
