We moved my grandma here this year and her journey has progressed to the final stages of life here. There were a few administrative issues with insurance with the move, but I think sometimes those are more on the insurance side. As far as the care and treatment of my grandma and others that I have witnessed, could not be better! Patricia, Daniel, Robert and the rest of the staff treat the residents like they're family. Caring for them with patience and love. Catering the individual treatment for each resident based on the things that bring them comfort. I have seen Patricia pray with my grandma on more than a few occasions to help with the pain left over from her pain medication. A particularly thoughtful act for my grandma, who was a ministers wife and active in her church. I've also seen them singing with Grandma on bad pain days. I have watched all of them as they interacted with other residents and not just my grandma and they have the same love and compassion for all of the residents. It has brought me so much comfort, being too far to come visit regularly myself, to know that they were here with Grandma day in and day out. I don't know how they can do the job they do, but am so eternaly grateful that they do. They have helped make my grandma's final transition one with love and reassurance. I am so grateful that my family decided on moving her here.

My father has been residing at Belleview Heights since May when I moved him and my mother to Aurora from another state. They were previously in another very nice Assisted Living Memory Care in that state. Belleview has met and exceeded every expectation. My Dad is always well groomed and happy. The staff is exceptional in their caring attitude and expertise. There have been no lost clothing or other items, including his hearing aides, which can be quite a challenge to keep track of. He raves about the food the most. I am so pleased with BH and am very grateful for the loving care they give him. Belleview Heights is a superior facility.

Belleview Heights provides all the components that a memory care should have. From truly person centered care to tailored programming and dining, every resident is given the tools they need to maintain their independence and engage in purposeful activities. I have experience working with several memory care communities, and Belleview Heights remains at the top of my list for quality of care. Right when you walk in the building, you see engaged residents and compassionate care. Ive been working at this community almost 2 years now and the friendships and connections that form between residents and family members alike is unmatched anywhere else. The residents are great and so where my co workers...joann a caregiver is phenomenal..Patrica is also great with residents...me I used to be an employee as well I am no longer there for personal reasons but, I will say I have never worked two better caregivers...and mrs. Cindy words can not describe how phenomenal she is at her job..

I have been doing activities with our residents for about 3 years. I come to work every day to keep our residents smiling and engaged. Im always learning something new each day, I even learned about washing machines and wringers that our ladies used back when they were raising families! My job is to honor our residents and their life legacies as we help them through their life journey; who could ask for anything better!

Belleview Heights is a perfect loving environment for a loved one with Alzheimer-dementia. The staff is loving, personal, respectful and present. Each staff member pitches in where it is needed, for no one only does their assigned job. If there is a need the staff does it, even the facility director pitches in anywhere and everywhere. Each resident is known by name and it is evident the staff takes time to know the resident personally. Knowing that as your loved one progresses downward and requires more care the cost of care does not go up, is a relief and gives a peace of mind.

It is a nice and secure community. If a resident is out back, they are not able to get onto the street. They have thought of everything as far as residents who might be escape artists.

I am very impressed with the staff. They are so wonderful with all the residents and always have smiles. Angel is incredible with how she interacts with all residents and the entertainment she provides is fantastic! Its nice to know your loved one is in good hands. It takes a lot of stress off your plate.

Im there almost every day of the week visiting my wife for 3-4 hours and Im just amazed at the caregivers total devotion to the residents. They absolutely love them and unless you are there like I am you dont realize what that means. The caregivers job has got to be one of the most brutal jobs out there but they have a heart for it that is really hard to understand. And the nurses are stellar. This is not a job to them or the caregivers, it is a true Calling and God bless them.

I believe Belleview Heights is the #1 Care Community in all of Denver for people with dementia, especially Alzheimers and Frontal Temporal. From their purposefully built building, to their care, they truly understand the needs of the resident and their families, and the employees who give the care. The staff manages by walking around, not by task centered care. The peacefulness of the community is felt immediately when you walk in. The residents are bright eyed and converse readily as redirection skills are utilized over medication. Residents are treated with compassion and respect and are allowed to do as much from themselves for as long as they can. They are allowed to shower or bathe, and most importantly on their own schedule. They can attend breakfast in PJs if they desire, and are celebrated when they can comb their own hair and button their own shirt, even if its not perfect. The bedrooms have sensors so the staff knows when they are out of bed, allowing resident to sleep peacefully without disruptions. Heat lamps are in the bathrooms to help maintain body heat. Families are invited to be families again instead of caregivers, and can trust their loved one is cared for completely and competently. They have outdoor access for active people, and inside, the layout of the building is circular for ease of the residents. I absolutely wish there were more of these communities in Denver. As an expert in Alzheimers care, I would trust them with my own family members and wish with all my heart that my own mother who lived with Alzheimers, could have enjoyed this community while she was alive.

Belleview Heights is an amazing facility! They are educated with the variety of memory care issues and concerns as they are independent for all. . They provide programs to stimulate the clients mind, have wonderful kind caregivers and well staffed with nursing care. The Administration team is so supportive at various levels. This has been the most loving caring happy active beautiful clean well staffed Care Facility EVER. Having had two parents with dementia, my husband and I have experienced a few facilities the past 15years first hand. My mama went from hyper-anxiety with much anger and fears to bright eyed and contented in less than a 24-hour period after arriving as a result of being positively stimulated, having the ability to walk endlessly freely in and out of open doors and because she was lovingly received being treated as she puts it, Like a queen. My wish is their command! They love me here and the food is delicious too! Yes, Im not exaggerating, the atmosphere at Belleview is nothing less than magical as is their philosophy of care!!! Thank you thank you thank you Belleview Heights staff for gifting my mama Doris with the needed security as well as the respect and value she deeply desired!!!
