I spent time today a Kipling Meadows and really enjoyed it. The culture the staff exuded and the surroundings were really pleasant. The food was also very good!They also have a great location, give Kipling Meadows a look for IL living. They may be a great fit.

I started out on a journey to find my Nana somewhere to live knowing basically nothing about the process. I posted in a community page on Facebook and was connected with Jill. She took the time to take a phone call from me and answer many of my questions and point me in the right directions. She was an incredible help and her presence was an enormous source of relief and information. I will NEVER forget what an asset she was to us as we navigated the process. We toured Kipling Meadows several times and ate lunch there. The inside of the building stuck out to me as it felt much more "homey" than some of the other facilities we toured. Many of the common areas felt like traditional spaces you would find in someone's home. It smelled good, clean, like a home and not like a facility. The food was amazing, and the chef even came over and introduced himself and checked on us personally. Literally EVERYONE we met that worked there was wonderful, warm, and welcoming. The residents looked happy and there was always something going on during the several trips we made there. 10 out of 10, WOULD recommend.

In my search for a place to live that would bring me closer to my kids and relieve me of all the housekeeping duties, I visited many other places in the area. I found the cheeriness of the rooms and the friendliness of both staff and residents to be the perfect fit for me and my husband. The food is good, the activities are many and suited to all residents. I have also enjoyed the outings provided for us on a regular basis.

I highly recommend Kipling Meadows for independent living. It is located in a quiet area, and the rooms have large windows for lots of light. Many amenities are included in the monthly rent such as all meals, housekeeping, all maintenance for apartment repairs, cable TV, many outings, and in -house activities. There is Happy Hour every Friday aft with live music! A beauty shop is in the building. KM is small enough that the residents can quickly know each other. All staff members are very approachable and friendly. My Mom has lived there over 5 years. She is 93, and a care team is available to check on her twice daily for a small fee. We are very pleased with our experience at Kipling Meadows!

I’m a resident at Kipling Meadows, and very happy with most everything here. I just wanted to add that Kathy, our sales person whom I believe came on board in May, and Kirsten, our Executive Director,, have been wonderful and tireless additions to both staff and residents here. I can’t imagine being without them! They both work very long hours, and both jump in wherever and whenever needed. They both truly care about the residents, and that is SO appreciated. ( I highly recommend contacting Kathy for a tour - she will go out of her way to show you all that is available to you.)
