I can’t say enough good things about the facility and staff at wildwood canyon villa in Yucaipa. We transitioned our dad there a few months ago, and they have worked so hard with us to make it as smooth as possible. They entire staff is attentive and helpful and have always worked with us to address any concerns we have along the way. It never smells bad, the food always looks good and they do whatever they can with extra details to make our dad feel at home and cared for. They are communicative with us as family, making us still feel like an important part of his care team. We are so grateful to have this place so close to our home and are able to relax knowing he is in good hands.

my experience at this facility was very welcoming however, there are some employees specially a woman whom i dont know of seems to not care about the people living there.

Both my parents now live here-. One is in memory care because of Alzheimers and the other is in assisted living. I can now sleep because I know they are both safe and getting their medication they need. They also have been more social and having fun. I have not seen my dad really smile in months, and I have seen him smile so much more since he has moved in. Even though the timing is tough because of Covid- we are able to do window and FaceTime visits, so we are able to stay connected. The staff is amazing, kind and loving. I am so grateful for this place!

Admitting you or your parents need more help than can be provided at home is hard. Finding the right assisted living is even harder. My mom needed full memory care, and my dad just needed assistance with everyday tasks. After 70 years of marriage, my dad wanted to continue living with his beloved wife. A Place for Mom helped us find Wildwood Canyon Villas—where they could still live together and have both their needs met. They moved in about 6 weeks before the COVID-19 lockdown. As they settled in, my dad commented, This is just like living on a cruise ship. He enjoyed the meals, the staff, the activities, and the other residents. He was especially happy because the staff was taking such good care of my mom. No one could have ever predicted that a pandemic would strike and all our lives would change. At times, the lockdown was frustrating, but all the WCV staff—from the administrator and caregivers, to the cooks, activity directors, and maintenance—all put their hearts and 100% efforts into making life as enjoyable and stress free as possible for all residents. They have worked diligently behind the scenes and throughout the facility to keep it clean, safe, and healthy. During the past months, the staff also kept the residents families informed through weekly email newsletters, extra emails as needed, and social media of all the daily activities and their approach to keeping residents and staff healthy. Individual phone calls were made too. If you are looking for a home—a community—for yourself or a loved one, I highly encourage you to visit WCV to see how they can provide the loving care, family atmosphere, and enjoyable lifestyle you seek. (Note: when the pandemic hit and the lockdown started, I felt as though I had moved my parents in and then abandoned them. But, that couldnt have been farther from reality. I recently received a tour at wildwood canyon villa with my mother , the tour we received was amazing. Throughout the tour we met some of the staff and residents, everyone was so welcoming. It is evident that the residents are happy and enjoying their time at wildwood. I would highly recommend this establishment.

My family and I needed assistance with my grandmother, and we were made aware of this facility by a family friend who gave it high reviews. The administration staff and all the caregivers were very welcoming and extremely caring towards my grandmother and also any needs my family had. The facility is very warm and inviting and was always super clean and up kept. The manager of the property is an extremely kind individual, and was always making sure everything was kept in order and everyone was promptly taken care of. I Would highly recommend to any family in need of elder care!

An excellent, modern, and secure location! All staff from the top down is driven to satisfy nearly every residents needs!! My parents are the happiest which means the most to me. Since our dad passed away recently, mom is now dealing with losing her husband of seventy years and the staff is working miracles to help our mom cope and deal with her loss. We are so glad for Wildwood Canyon Villa❗

Our parents moved in June of 2018. It did not take too long before my mother began to express her happiness with living in the Hotel and loving the great food at meal times. This staff, from LVNs, med-techs, laundry gal, activity directors, housekeeping, cafeteria help, to hair dresser, seem to magically serve the residents together with nurture, compassion, and goodness. They reflect a team spirit that serve these residents as if each is a member of their own family. The smiles on those that serve this population is particularly heartening to see. My mother recently became a widow and has been particularly handled with greater compassion, sensitivity & care. This is especially reassuring during our stay at home protocols in California. I love Wildwood and all the staff. They are always on top of the residents wants and needs. I love their Friday lunch bunch and all the fun activities. Im a personal caregiver for a resident at Wildwood. When I first started caring for her, she was a shut in. Now she is 95 and a has been at WWCV for almost 2 years and she joins in on most activities. The activity directors are always asking the residents for their input on activities that they enjoy. The memory care there is fantastic and they keep the memory care residents just as busy. I would 100% recommend Wildwood. Call and and ask for a tour and see for yourself.

Staff here is beyond excellent, they are so kind caring and loving towards all residents at this facility and do so much to make them all feel so welcomed and loved. The staff is very knowledgeable in the care they provide to their residents. My mother went from participating in no activities at former resident to being out of her room all the time. Im thinking I may need to make an appointment to visit. Very happy with her care.

The staff here is so caring, they really love what they do. The facility is clean, beautiful and new. We loved all the activities they held for the residents and family members. I would highly recommend them for people looking for a nice place that looks nothing like a nursing home, very classy!
