The facility is always spotless, consistently clean, well-maintained, and welcoming, which makes such a difference for both residents and visitors. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, approachable, and accommodating. You can tell they genuinely care, and that kind of environment doesn’t happen by accident. Chantal runs a tight ship, but in the best possible way. Her leadership shows in every detail: the staff is engaged, the building is immaculate, and most importantly, the residents are happy and well cared for. Alisse is another standout. She is exceptionally kind and compassionate, and she meets people where they are. Moving into senior living can be an emotional process, and she handles it with such grace, guiding families every step of the way without ever making it feel transactional or like a sale. That level of sincerity is rare and deeply appreciated. Emily also does an amazing job keeping the community vibrant. I can’t say enough good things about Summerfield Senior Living! The community is beautiful and well-maintained, but what truly sets it apart is the people”especially Alisse. She is absolutely amazing. Her genuine care and compassion for the residents and their families shines through in everything she does. Alisse goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, supported, and valued. It’s clear she truly cares about this community, and it makes all the difference. If you're looking for a senior living option where your loved one will be treated with kindness and respect, I highly recommend Summerfield.

My mom stayed here, and although she wanted to be at her own home, this place was definitely what she needed! The staff were so caring and the food was amazing! She has now passed, but I still go there to see the friends my mom made there.

Summerfield is an absolutely phenomenal place for our beloved ones. What really warms me up about this place is the home-like atmosphere that wraps you right from the entrance. It is clear that every single staff member is in love with what they are doing, driven by genuine care for residents and the community overall. It's amazing to see managerial figures who wear their hearts on their sleeves and who are so deeply invested in their work - it's not just a job for them, it's a passion. Chantal, the Executive Director, is such an amazing caring person. You can tell she loves her job, the residents, and the community. Guess what? They serve the most fabulous food three times a day, along with super tasty snacks intermittently! Imagine home-cooked goodness, but at a gourmet standard, and you've basically got the meals they serve here! Chef Todd is just terrific at what he does. And what about housekeeping? Well, they're brilliant - every corner of this place is clean as a whistle, and they do an amazing job. They ensure that everything sparkles to perfection! The care directors, Gayle and Mary, are an A+ team in my books. I can go to them for anything. They are wonderful at their jobs and manage their staff to perfection. But the cherry on the top has got to be the Activities program. Retail therapy outings, scenic drives that captivate the senses, rip-roaring outings that promise an adrenaline rush, chill happy hours, interactive senior socials, creatively stimulating games, invigorating exercise routines, and dazzling musical performances - it's all part of the package. And for those who relish in old favorites, you bet your boots there's Bingo... and not just once a week, multiple times! The program runs seven days a week, and it's packed with bucket loads of fun to keep them satisfied, cheerful, and on their toes! So, without a shadow of a doubt, Summerfield gets a solid five stars from me. Heck, it's quite simply "THE Place to BE"!

This facility is the BEST assisted living care facility. There are many people with big hearts and true care in their blood. They seek to resolve situations as they may happen. I only wish family members would visit their loved ones more often, and help to be a more positive part of their residents experience here. Family is important, even moreso over the holidays. My wish is for all our residents and families to share a great holiday season.

Summerfield staff treat their residents with compassion and respect. They work diligently to take care of not only residents physical well-being but also their emotional well-being. They are always planning fun interactive activities the residents can join in, giving lots of social interaction which is vital. I can go on and on. I am a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® and I tour facilities prior to recommending them to clients. I was very impressed with this facility both times I was there. No matter where you go in this facility, it feels like home. There are reading rooms, puzzle rooms, TV rooms, sewing rooms, transportation to town for the residents, a pool table and a joyful staff that engages whole-heartedly with the residents. Brenda Williams is the marketing director and it's evident that she loves her job and truly cares about each person under her care. They offer apartments in one building for independent seniors and a separate building for assisted living and memory care. I highly recommend Summerfield Senior Living for your loved one.

My mother was forced to find a place to live when her home burned in the Paradise fire, and she lost everything. The staff at Summerfield made her feel very welcomed and she settled into her little apartment with a "can do" attitude, and is enjoying her life there, and all the activities. That is, until this Covid virus intruded into all our lives. She has been very bored with lack of "community" due to the virus, as I'm sure all the others feel, too. That is just a fact of life. The staff is taking very good care to keep everyone in the facility well and safe from outsiders, but it makes it very hard to not be able to just drop in and visit for a few minutes, help Mom with her bills, give her hugs, etc. If only I were able to have her at home during this time, at least we would be family together. We just do not have the space in our very small home. The only complaint Mom has is the food: too much starch: pasta, potatoes, etc. and not enough fresh veggies and fresh fruit. Plus she has gained weight! She complained to the doctor about her weight gain, and his response was "well, you don't have to eat it all!". smile. We are pleased with the care Mom is given and the love the aides show her. This is a good place to live.

Summerfield is an awesome Senior Living Residence. My mother lived there three years prior to her passing. She loved it and the caregivers! Now my mother-in-law is residing there. She also likes living there. They all take such good care of her! Don’t think you could find a better place!

Mom, age 99 has been there for a year now an loves the place. So many activities, at least until COVID-19 hit. She is treated well by staff as are we when we used to visit. Mom asked me how long it will be before we can resume visiting and I told her that it would be some time yet. Her comment was, "You know, I don't have a lot of time left!" Very sad and yes. we know.

My mom has lived at summerfield for 4 years. I have nothing but praise for everyone there! Im so grateful for the wonderful care she continues to receive. There are many activities and although my mom is shy & doesn’t join in they always encourage her and agree to go with her to participate. She’s made friends and enjoys eating with them in the dining room. There’s always a theme based on the time of year and they go all out with decorations & music in the halls, movies & popcorn nights too. They invite the families in for events including big holiday luncheons, again with beautiful decor. My moms apartment is always clean & she has fresh clean sheets regularly. No doubt the staff is busy but they never seem rushed and take the time to chat with her and help her with anything she needs. I highly recommend summerfield assisted living to anyone looking for an assisted living community.
