My wife’s health deteriorated quickly, and I needed to place her in hospice immediately. With the help of Seniors helping Seniors, I found Emerald Oaks and a tour was scheduled quickly and we took the private room available in the new wing. I knew nothing about hospice and Emerald Oaks simply took my insurance card and did everything for me. I really appreciated the help. The room was clean and quiet and right by the nursing station. Freedom hospice was great; they listened to my concerns regarding her care and worked with Emerald Oaks to make sure they were remediated and the plan was being followed. The hospice nurses gave me their numbers to call them at any time day or night and responded quickly. My wife received excellent care from the Emerald Oaks staff and I was grateful they were there for my wife in her final days. They really cared about-and for her with compassion and I appreciated their kind words to me as well.

I am a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® and I tour facilities prior to recommending them to clients. I was very impressed with this facility both times I was there from the staff who genuinely cares for the clients, the joy on the client's faces and the positive interaction I observed between clients and staff. I conducted a music class there for the residents and brought in music, shakers, sticks, and bells and 14 happy residents participated in musical fun! Ivy Garner is the marketing director and it's evident that she truly cares about each person under her care. I highly recommend Emerald Oaks Assisted Living for your loved one.

The head staff is amazing. I worked for Emerald Oaks and it was like being in a home and surrounded by a family. Rita Hammill is the head administrator and has the biggest heart of anyone I know. If I were to be in the position of having to find a home for a beloved family member, or if I myself were to be at that time in my life where I needed placement, I would feel completely at ease and at peace eye under the caring staff and Ritas very watchful eye. I would know that my loved one or myself was safe and sound and I would at least be able to sleep easier at night.
