Good afternoon friends, I had to reach out to you both directly as you have changed my family's life for the better. My Mother Roberta "Bobbie" Sams #138A moved to Assisted Living a year and a half ago. Since then as you know she has had to move twice. Both places were not a good experience to say the least. Since the day I met Christina and Juanita you said what you would do and did exactly what you said. Your advice tChristina on this journey has been invaluable to Rick and I. Your staff are all in this for the right reasons and trained so well. I have to recognize some by name as they really have been a godsend. Julie the voice of Walnut Valley always so helpful kind and warm Paul is a Saint, Dorina (I hope I spelled that right). that they truly care. She and Paul always keep me informed above and beyond. Not to forget Moises who was so helpful and Max for waiting at the doctor's office for my Mom. Juanita for helping us navigate moving me the day my Mom moved from Assisted to Memory Care you were all hands-on deck. I am going to go in and post directly for them as well. If you are looking for a friendly staff who care about their residents, this is the place! The people are kind and go the extra mile. I want to mention that there are quite a few Asian and Chinese residents who stay here, reflective of the local area. Some of the staff also speak multiple languages, including Chinese Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Cantonese. There's also a regular rotation of Asian meals on the menu. My mother has eaten rice or noodles just about every day of her life, so her preference will never change. They also host Tai Chi classes and mahjong games weekly. This is absolutely the best senior community with Chinese services in the Diamond Bar/Rowland Heights area!

I recently visited Walnut Valley Senior Living and was very satisfied. It's newly renovated and has a Chinese chef providing both Chinese and Western cuisine. The rent, including three meals a day, is very reasonable. I visited other retirement communities nearby, and they were either too old or ridiculously expensive, and most importantly, none of them offered Chinese food. The entire community showed meticulous care for its residents, and I'm grateful for the comfortable and pleasant living space they've provided. I plan to move in as soon as possible and will definitely recommend it to friends and family who are interested!

My grandpa stayed at this senior living facility for just over a year, and from the warm welcome every time we came to visit my grandpa to all of the professional, attentive and compassionate staff who work here, we are genuinely grateful for the exceptional care my grandpa received. In particular, I want to mention Christina, the Executive Director, Sam and Josie, a couple of very sweet staff members who always took the time to make sure my grandpa had enough to eat, and Mauricio, the very kind and caring maintenance director who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Christina also consistently went above and beyond, including helping us secure an adjustable hospital bed for my grandpa and visiting him several times in his final days to express her genuine sadness. The facility is well-maintained and well-run, and I would recommend it to anyone seeking quality senior care.

My mom resided at Walnut Valley Senior Living for approximately four years. During her stay, I was extremely pleased with all the staff. Christina and her team were always helpful, supportive, caring and kind to my mom. I could not have asked for a better experience.

My mom stayed in memory care for about 3.5 years; she recently passed. My mom was not an easy resident to care for. My wife and I visited my mom weekly and I observed how the staff operated. I feel that the staff did a fantastic job in the care of my mom. Although the new paint job and the new carpet is great, it is people who makes the facilities works. You should be comfortable in leaving your love one in their care. I hope you also find solitude in the final care of your love one.

My father-in-law recently moved to Walnut Valley. It is a wonderful place. I am impressed with the care provided by the facility. The staff treats the residents like their own family. I highly recommend you to check it out.

My Dad suffered a stroke in May 2022. He is no longer able to live alone due to paralysis on his left side. After many visits to several other places, Walnut Valley became the obvious number one choice for my dad. A big reason is because of Juanita Solozano! Juanita was extremely welcoming when I first visited this beautiful facility and has been just as welcoming every day since. Juanita did everything she said she would do for my dad and more. Juanita is dedicated, empathetic and responsible, and I love her positive attitude. Even though I live in the Midwest, I had no worries because I know that Juanita and the staff would take great care of my dad. The transition for my dad's move in was incredibly easy because the staff worked so hard and did whatever was needed to get my dad comfortably settled in. The staff at Walnut Valley has been absolutely wonderful to my dad who can be difficult to deal with. Nurse Soven has been friendly, kind, understanding and compassionate. She goes out of her way to help my dad and is patient with all of my questions. She always replies quickly to our needs and requests. Walnut Valley has far exceeded my expectations for a senior living environment. The staff is friendly, caring, hard working and they treat my dad like a member of their own family. Walnut Valley is a great place for your loved ones because it has the most dedicated and committed staff. In addition, the facility was recently updated, and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! It is better than a high-end hotel! Christina, the executive director, should be very proud of building an outstanding facility. I highly recommend Walnut Valley Senior Living!

This facility has been in the RH Walnut and Diamond Bar community for over 30 years. During the spring and summer of this year it has been operating under a new ownership. They’ve been noticeably upgrading the facility through out and the staffs are very friendly and helpful which makes my mother’s stay in the past few months very easy to adjust to. Even though there are still some areas could be improved. I expect this will be an ongoing effort in coming years. At this time I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone who is seeking a convenient, comfortable and caring place for their elderly love ones.

I am a current resident living here at Walnut Valley Senior Living. I have been here for 5 months now. Like anyone of us, I would rather live in my own home but I had a fall that caused me my physical ability to be safe alone at home. After my husband visit 20 places he found Walnut Valley to be our ideal home away from home. This places has given us great care and fulfills my needs such has having company, care, safety, security ans new friendships. The staff is caring and understanding. I recommend my home away from home. Come and visit us!

I feel the warm, attentive staff are very helpful to both family and residents. This facility is clean and inviting. It has a nice outdoor water feature and putting green. The TV room is relaxing. The library is open and airy. There are a veriety of activities to keep residents entertained. But I feel the staff make it home.
