My granny lived at Vista Gardens for almost two years. We were in such a pickle to find her a place and Vista Gardens was delivered from the heavens. its the best thing that has ever happened to our family. she got great care from the staff. Rachel and Dr Abney were so kind to her. she loved to have her ice cream every day. she never played a game of bingo in her life until she moved in and loved it!! She passed in 2018 but so peaceful and well taken care of. thank you Vista Gardens staff and to North Coast Hospice for everything they did for my Granny. Vista Gardens will forever be family.

My Mother has Alzheimers disease. Like so many families, we struggled navigating the disease as she moved from mild cognitively imparted to ALZ. Finding the right Memory Care was a huge challenge. Everything changed last year when we moved our Mom into Vista Gardens. My sister and I have been so impressed with the care she has received. The entire team works tirelessly to ensure my Mom and the other residents are well cared for and have a good quality of live. From the Care Givers, Nurses, the restaurant staff, the activities ladies (Mara and Theresa), to Julie (who makes the facility super clean), and Olga Diane who work in the salon...I mean every one is exceptional! The doctors who work with the residents are amazing, as well! Jacque Dupont is an angel who is fighting to change the lives of people living with ALZ. Thank you to the entire Vista Gardens for taking such wonderful care of our mother.

My mom moved to Vista Gardens from New York. She was living in her own home. She adapted in one day! We could not believe it. Her roommate, the food, the music and the group in the morning really helped her move. I can not thank the management people or caregivers enough for their care. They are the real super stars. Thanks for caring for Shirley! (She has lived there now for 16 Months).

Thank you Vista Gardens for taking such good care of my father-in-law in his last days. You all were so kind to take him as he neared the end of his hospice journey. He was cared for beautifully by your staff and the hospice nurses. Leah and Stephanie were so attentive and helpful with the transfer, and they made sure he had everything he needed. We really appreciate you!

The staff at Vista Gardens have been amazing. My mother was under their care for 4.5 years. During this time I watched how the staff engaged with the residents and their families. I saw nothing but respect and caring. I highly recommend Vista Gardens.

In touring this facility, Im taken aback at how beautiful the property is as well all of the activities that they have available for the residents and how kind and compassionate the staff is. Their services range from mild memory care to advanced Alzheimers care. They have an awesome nursing team and med tech crew which most other facilities Ive visited do not. This is such a great place to have my loved one taken care of.

Everyone at Vista Gardens works hard to give the residents a home thats comfortable and engaging. Vista Gardens always have activities for the residents so that they dont lose any capabilities. Additionally, each person, from caregivers to managers, ends up loving the residents so much that if one of them passes they grieve as well. Even going so far as hosting or attending funerals-celebrations of life.

I visited Vista Gardens a few weeks back, My friend was visiting her mom who is a resident at Vista Gardens and I decided to tag along. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed the receptionist are great. My friends mother enjoys the outings and activities. Candy Bingo seems to be her favorite, We visited on a Saturday I was surprised to see they had a piano player. The residents seemed thrilled.

I had the opportunity to visit Vista Gardens with a friend whose relative was a resident. Ive been to a few care facilities in the past and they always leave me with a really grim view of elder care. Vista Gardens definitely is a step above the others and I found the facility to be unlike so many others Ive seen. The grounds and building are very well kept and the location is really peaceful. The staff was friendly and accommodating and it was nice to see the residents being acknowledged as actual people rather than just warm bodies to be cared for. I was able to observe a small group of residents playing Bingo with a staff member in the library and it was really heartwarming to see the care the staff puts into their work. They also take measures to make sure the residents and visitors are safe--- it can be difficult to deal with ones suffering with dementia or Alzheimers but the staff at Vista Gardens really seem to work hard to create a safe and welcoming environment for residents and their guests. Making the decision to move our loved ones into a care facility can be an incredibly difficult and emotional decision. Vista Gardens offers a lot of amenities and is not to be overlooked when choosing the right place for those you care about.

Vista Gardens is an amazing community. My Father has been to three other facilities and not of them have been able to care for him nor understand his diagnosis and his needs such as Vista Gardens. My Father has now been at Vista Gardens for almost four months; the longest he was at any facility prior! One of the Owners, Joe, is amazing. When we first went there for a visit he made if a point to personally meet with me and discuss my Fathers needs. The Executive Director, Dr. Jacque Dupont if nothing short of amazing! She is a Gerontologist and has an amazing understanding of the elderly and the different diagnosis along with the specifics of each of these diagnosis as well as the individuals needs based on the specific diagnosis! She is an amazing advocate and partner in caring for my Father along with all of the amazing Staff at Vista Gardens. I have yet to go to a facility that ALL of the staff from the top to the bottom all care and interact with the Residents and Family on a daily basis. Dr. Dupont is one of the main reasons I chose Vista Gardens; most of the other facilities around the county did not have an Executive Director with the 20+ years of industry knowledge nor education that she provides. She is a hands on Director and is always accommodating and available whenever I need anything! The grounds themselves are nothing short of amazing. I did not find another facility in San Diego County on 5 acres, with the ability for high functioning residents, such as my father, to be able to go outside with fencing all around the facility to ensure his safety! Hands down this is the best facility with the best staff in the entire county! They care about every aspect from the building and grounds to the resident and their needs! They include the family as part of the team working with your loved one!

I need to let you know Vista Gardens Memory Care is the most awesome place to have my Gramps, I am the POAHC ..allot of stress on me.. I am so blessed with V-G in Our lives...Gramps 92 this coming Jan..advance Dementia...I lived with my Grandparents for 6 years 1-6 and again when I was a teenager .. So my Grandparents are like my parents..So Im playing it forward ..Grams passed years ago..and I love my Gramps out of love..no $$$ rewards..V-G watches over me too..Im single..and just placed on another journey of Bone Marrow Cancer...Vista Gardens Memory Care..thank You for the love you give my Gramps and you are my Gauarden Angels..I Love You All!!

Vista Gardens is a lovely, and very well run facility. When you first step through its doors, you get that sense that patient care really does take top priority here. The residents are very well taken care of, lots of smiles everywhere..and I love to see that. Kudos to Vista Gardens for getting Dr. Jacque DuPont on board. I have know Dr. DuPont for over seven years and can honestly say that they could not have chosen anyone more capable, harder working or more compassionate than Jacque. For over 20 years, she has been advocating and lobying tirelessly for patient rights. She somehow finds the time to give back and donates her valuable time to Alzheimers OC, UCI Mind, Senior Serv (Meals on Wheels) and Goodwill boards.. just to name a few. To her employees, she is very fair but does set the bar very high when it comes to patient care. She can be a hard task master, but is always fair, kind and treats her employees like family. She goes above and beyond to help her staff succeed. I can list numerous examples where she has helped her employees. She has paid for family funerals, trips over seas for caregivers to see their children or parents. Paid for employee honeymoons, thrown baby showers for employees and buys them all they need. She has helped so many people get back on their feet. Yes, Vista Gardens is indeed lucky to have her. Your loved one could not be in better or more capable hands.

Words cannot describe the appreciation I have for the staff at Vista Gardens. They truly love and care for their residents and put a whole new meaning to the word caregiver. My mom wanted to live with her family in her final days and it was not possible. Vista Gardens is the closest thing to having your loved one at home with you. I have not seen my mom this happy in years and am truly grateful for all they did.
