My sister became a resident at the facility after breaking her left leg and having to have surgery she needed recovery assistance. .After speaking to some friends , they highly recommend Linwood Meadows . My family and I took a unannounced tour one Saturday morning of the facility . We it clean , the patients were up and going to their activity room , every staff member were very friendly and welcoming. During my sisters stay , she made friends , she enjoyed all their activities. We hope they continue their awesome work , assisting all their patients. Thank you Linwood Meadows !

My mom was in Linwood for the last few months of her life . I have to say that all of the staff were so caring and supportive to not only my mom, but to myself specifically Grace, who was one of the LVN’s I knew that when she was on my mom was taken care of. Even if it meant just sitting there and holding her hand and telling her everything was gonna be OK. I was not impressed much by the doctor, but all of the other staff was great and caring.

I was at Linwood Meadows just shy of five weeks, and I truly enjoyed my time there. Words can't fully express how loving, caring, thoughtful, kind, and patient every staff member was. From the top supervisors of all departments ” administration, admissions, physical and occupational therapy ” to the entire nursing staff, food service, housekeeping, and (oh, what fun!) activity staff ” Bingo, art, crafts, holiday parties, puzzles, games, entertainment, and music! The meal options were good, and I especially enjoyed the snack cart that came door-to-door between meals. When it was time for me to leave, I felt like I was saying goodbye to family. I highly recommend Linwood Meadows Care Center.

My husband was here for 4 months. He’d been in several places before. He’s liked Linwood Meadows best because the staff is genuine. They do what they say they’ll do for him. Everything about this place is great. The business office staff is always there to help. Have any questions and they are readily available and always works with you. The receptionist is always smiling and seems to know everyone by name (families). Once you get to the back the nurses are all busy going from room to room, caring for our loved ones. Linwood is a great caring place to have our loved ones. Very family oriented.

I appreciate the staff helping my mom to take care of herself after having part of her leg amputated, but Linwood Gardens is really crummy about returning laundry to the correct person after it’s washed. Now as family I have to go out of my way to wash and return my mom’s laundry because it keeps getting stolen.

My father-in-law stayed at Linwood for 3 weeks of rehabilitation. It was a good experience. The facility was good and staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a beautiful courtyard where you can spend time with your loved one. This is my first choice if my father-in-law ever needs long term care.

My mom recently had an extended stay at this facility. She was well tended to, checked on often, given the space to move about freely if she wanted to, was encouraged to join in their daily activities, and basically was treated like a princess (in my opinion). Her biggest complaint was the foodwhich I imaging cooking food for the masses that everyone enjoys would be difficult anywhere you go.. she loved her nurses and CNAs. She loved the physical therapy crew. While she was ready to leave and be home, she was sad to leave the people that work there. I think this is a fantastic place to do rehabilitation post hospital stay.

Love this place the people who work there are always so nice and friendly and welcoming. Always clean. I was just visiting a friend of mine and the nurses offered me some coffee I thought that was so cool. My friend is getting therapy from them and they are doing a wonderful job. She loves the food and care she receives. They even let her go home for a few hours which I think helped her anxiety because she was feeling homesick. It really helped. Thank you to the staff and everyone else who is helping her recover.

There are not enough words to describe the hospitable feeling you get when you walk thru the doors. They took a very stressful situation and remained calm and collective. Their attentiveness goes over and above what is called for. They showed my mom loving kindness and she grew to really care deeply for all of the staff and her roommate. This is a wonderful facility and I recommend it for anyone rehabilitating or even a long term facility. From the president to the CNAs, nurses, doctors, and administration, all of them were excellent and we do not have anything negative to say other than the food choices.

I'm so impressed with the care center, my father had to go in after a stay in the hospital. I'm a Caregiver for over 25 years but live in a different area, so I had to trust them with my father. They ALWAYS were there to answer all of my questions, and concerns . Kristen went out of her way to help and Grace would always answered any of my concerns. I know there where many I didnt talk to or that I don't know your names but, I'm thankful he had caring people to help him when I couldn't be there. My husband recently had surgery which resulted in him needing additional care and physical therapy when discharged from the hospital. The care he received was amazing! Therapy got him up and walking in no time by building his strength and confidence. Nursing staff were very attentive and caring. The facility is clean and with a welcoming atmosphere. Office staff are friendly and helpful as were the housekeepers and maintenance staff. My husband never complained about his care, the food or any staff person. I cannot say enough positive remarks about this facility.

Posting on behalf of a residents family member. My mother Marilyn, has been a resident of Linwood Meadows in Visalia since July 2022. The following teams: maintenance, business-financial, laundry, physical therapists, reception area, human resources, janitorial, dining, and the activities groups are above, and beyond what you would expect to find in a skilled nursing facility. There is another group that we appreciate. (RNA-not sure what the initials mean), they do everything from assisting with meals, exercising and working closely with residents. The very hard working nursing teams, no matter what hall we are on, greet us with a smile. The LVN’s and CNA’s have become extended family to Mother, helping her with daily medications, clothes changes, bathing etc. We’ve met so many great people (residents and staff) and are appreciative of the care and kindness Mother receives. She is happy, but her moods change often due to her dementia. At 2:00 daily, all residents meet in the Dining Hall for a well planned out activity. The activities team assists with Bingo, art projects, movies and popcorn, etc. Mother may be wheeled in feeling kind of blue, but when she exits, there is a smile on her face. Thank you everyone!

Our first steps inside we were greeted by warm professional staff that took their time to make my Aunt comfortable and explain in detail what she could expect her days to be filled with. Therapy sessions were amazing and so helpful. Everyday they made her feel like a superhero. They accommodated her picky eating habits with substitutions that made her feel great. My Aunt cried happily when she was being discharged because she was going to miss not just staff from a care facility but friends that helped her get her life back. My Aunt and myself will never forget the special attention that they gave her and all there patients.

Linwood meadows care center provides quality care with a family like atmosphere. The staff is very friendly with great customer service. They have and amazing Therapy department that provide Physical Therapy ,Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. The residents get to enjoy Daily activities provided by an amazing activities team. Residents also enjoy 3 course meals provided by a professional dietary team. The housekeeping team goes above and beyond to maintain a clean facility for the residents. A beautician is on site two times a week to offer hair cuts / colors and perms. Linwood meadows is a great facility!!!!

Since the moment we arrived to the time my family member was discharged all the staff at Linwood Meadows were amazing people. Administration staff we're amazing and very helpful. I have visited Linwood several times to evaluate patients. Upon entering Linwood I have been greeted by the most attentive and kind staff who gladly escort me to my destination. The garden at Linwood is impeccable! It’s heartwarming to see the patients visiting with their family and enjoying the nice weather. The facility is beautiful and clean. There are no offensive odor s, only good smells coming from the kitchen. The patients are involved in various activities and appear happy and content. My experience with the nurses have been positive. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and engaging with all their patients. I would not hesitate to recommend Linwood Meadows for anyone who needs short term or long term therapy/ nursing care.
