I recently had the pleasure of touring Cogir of Vacaville the independent living facility with Sandra Karse, the Community Relations Director, and I can honestly say she made the entire experience welcoming, informative, and stress-free. Sandra took the time to answer every question we had, explained everything thoroughly, and truly showed compassion and professionalism throughout the tour. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents and their families. The facility itself was clean, comfortable, and had a warm atmosphere, but Sandra’s kindness and attention to detail really stood out and made a lasting impression on us. After meeting with her and seeing the facility, I feel confident and excited about moving my mother in. Thank you, Sandra, for making such an important decision for our family feel much easier. Highly recommend!

My mother lived at Cogir (formerly under several other owners) from 2008 until her death in 2022. She loved the variety of menu items offered . There are plenty of activities for the seniors to participate in and keep them active which is very important.

Cogir has an amazing staff that are friendly, helpful and hardworking. It’s evident that they like their jobs and love the residents. They go out of their way because they care. The facility is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained and park like. The apartments are lovely and well laid out. We found Cogir to be the perfect place for our aged mother.

Came to Cogir today to do 3D scanning for virtual tours and was blown away by how delightful this place was. It smelled nice and was clean. The employees that I interacted with were insanely friendly, nice and helpful. The units were spacious and updated. The grounds were well kept. They had tons of activities and trips. To me the facility was coming and serene and seemed like a great place to live retired life. My only complaint was that walking around got confusing and I ended up walking in circles at one point. Clean and friendly staff. Rooms are a good size. Dinner in room delivery leaves a lot to be desired. Cold dry corndog (diced). Pickled beet salad? And a sliver of lemon meringue pie. Pie looked good. But for the price of these places the food definitely needs improvement.

My mother resided at Cogir of Vacaville for 4 years. She had a lovely apartment, caring supportive staff and Extended Family Care givers on site. Cogir was a blessing and I am very grateful. Thanks for all.

My dad's been here a couple years. Unfortunately I can not be his caretaker or I would. Dining room staff continuously changing. Food is cold. Rugs are dirty. I've been there twice this week and there is still a dirty blood stain from where a resident fell on the floor that has not been cleaned up. His laundry gets lost. For as much money as my dad pays here this place should be shipshape and spotless!! They need to take more pride in their appearance and not clean up only when higher management comes up for a visit!!!

My experience with Cogir started over 5 years ago. I was looking for a community for my father(89yrs old at the time). I toured the community and was thoroughly impressed. I took my father to tour the community and he reluctantly said ok. Once he moved in and got settled he absolutely LOVED it! He has very happy with ALL the staff! Everyone knows him by name. He has been spoiled by the staff. His needs are very well taken care of. He has lived in the Independent Living section and did quite well. Unfortunately, he has had a couple health incidents. Even through those incidents, everyone has remained SO VERY HELPFUL!!! Now he will have to transition to Assisted Living. The transition is being made so easy for me as his caregiver. This is my father’s home. Even when hospitalized, he has wanted to go home. I am so happy I chose Cogir of Vacaville! There’s so much more I could say.all positive. For all of you looking for a community for your loved ones, please consider Cogir of Vacaville. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit Cogir of Vacaville last week and came away very impressed. The grounds and facilities are first class but what most impressed us was the staff. They all seemed very caring with big smiles on their faces- even while always wearing masks! We have visited friends and family at other facilities but the experience was nowhere near what we saw at Cogir of Vacaville.
