I am very thankful for the amazing staff. My father receives amazing care, and everyone gives him the individual attention that he needs. I have been so excited about all the improvements over the past year with the new management company. The changes they have made have helped my father socially and physically. I would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Mountain View Assisted Living for the smooth transition of my sister-in-law into their facility several months ago. I found everyone very helpful and knowledgeable. There is a wide range of activities offered everyday and the staff encourages resident participation. It was a great way for my sister-in-law to make friends and continue to develop her interests--whether it was exercising, singing along to old time favorites, joining a craft class, or just enjoying the Ice Cream Socials held every week. I especially appreciate how Mountain View includes families in many of their events. I have gone to a Valentine's Day Lunch, A Mother's Day Tea, a Classic Car Show-just to name a few. (Did I mention that the food is excellent?) The staff and CNAs work very hard to make sure every person is well-cared for and shown respect. I am grateful for all that they do and I would highly recommend Mountain View for your family member.

The staff is very friendly to both the residents and visitors. My brother's room is always neat and clean. He is checked on often both during the day and night. There are many activities for the residents and often parties, teas, etc. for the residents and their families. My brother has been here for nearly a year and it has been nothing but a positive experience. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for their loved one to reside.

My initial dealings were with Jeannette, the Marketing Director. She went above and behind in being helpful. She allowed me to choose the room that was set up as a "model" for my loved one...which entailed them moving that furniture out so we could move in that room. She arranged for a zoom call with our loved one in a hospital 1 1/2 hrs away to conduct their assessment on her which sped up the process of getting her to Mt. View sooner. She even worked with me after hours on her own time processing the intake paperwork as the hospital was releasing our loved one and she could no longer live alone. She kept encouraging me saying, "We'll get this done together, don't worry." Two nights ago our loved one fell and Mt. View called me at 10 p.m. to inform me which I appreciated. All in all, a nice experience!

Mountain View assisted living is full of super friendly staff and even friendlier residents! I stopped in during their classic car show this weekend run by their marketing director Jeannette and it was a great family friendly event that I hope to attend again next time they have it!

Susan Edwards, Executive Director at the facility in Ukiah is a wonderful person as well as very experienced professional. She is compassionate, warm and very ethical. The staff at Mountain View is caring and well trained. I have had the opportunity to provide one on one care to some of their residents and have experienced first hand the quality of the service provided at Mountain View.

Impressive tour!! Entered the community with a great greeting from a pleasant lady at the front desk. I was escorted to a waiting area until the director came to give me a tour. I was offered ice water and a warm smile. The director was very nice and knowledgeable about her building and answered all my questions. Nursing staff seem very nice and inventive. Everyone seemed very happy, residents and staff. I chose this community above all others around because the homelike feel and trust I have in them to take care of my mom is there. I did not feel this way with the other communities around. Great job Mountain View.

This is the most beautiful community in all of Mendocino County and the only Assisted Living around. All the management team take so much time to ensure all the staff are trained and residents are taken care of. The food if fabulous. The weight training class is amazing and all the great new activities and events. The activities director does so much to make it special for all the residents. The Executive Director is the best I have seen ever at this community and I have lived here along time. The nursing department does all they can to make sure residents are always happy and well taken care of. I am very pleased with all that has been changed in the last couple of years and am proud to live here.

Mountain View Assisted Living is a wonderful faciltity. The staff are very helpful and always friendly. The facility is clean and always smells good. It feels like home when you walk in. And this is what family members like to see because their loved ones live here. I think they offer absolutely 5 star food. I have eaten here on occasion and enjoyed the food very much. You can see that the chef takes pride in his recipes and provides a large variety of wonderful dishes for all. It is like restaurant food, which I feel is a plus. the atmosphere when arriving here is very pleasant. I love that when you walk in, the environment is clean and smells good. They have beautiful landscapes and let residence hang bird feeders outside their windows, which is lovely. They try to have events for the residence and family for many holidays, which make it fun for all. The staff really go out of their way to make these holiday events a lot of fun for all. Teas and parties....they are all fun! They offer a wide variety of activities for the residence to participate in. I especially am happy that they offer bible study. My mom loves to go to that. Arts and crafts, t.v. watching in a group setting, exercise class, etc. is wonderful. I would recommend Mountain View Assisted Living to anyone looking for a wonderful new home for a loved one, or for themselves. Thank you.

My 100 year old mother has been at Mountain View almost six years. Our experiance over the past three years has been exemplary. Staff has been cooperative whenever needed. Activities have been available and appropriate every day, including weekends. Management has been innovative, cooperative and considerate,without exception. We have recommended Mountain View to friends who need or have relatives who need assisted living.
