I would highly recommend Huntington Retirement & assisted living facility. My father was a resident for 8 months after suffering a stroke. The staff & caregivers are great! They took exceptional care of my father! I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff. The facility is very clean .

Huntington Retirement is truly a very special place. I've visited and researched my fair share of care homes for my dad, who has vascular dementia. The love and care my father receives there is second to none. It all starts with Heather and Corina at the helm who have hearts of gold themselves and that spirit is present in all of the wonderful employees. Nina and Cristina are true angels on the staff. Everyone there has become a member of my father's family. Quite frankly, my father is more responsive to them than us. Sure, it would be nice to be acknowledged and get a smile out of him, but I am so enthralled that the staff there has forged a beautiful relationship with him that elicits laughter and smiles from him with each interaction! Here's to Huntington and a job incredibly done! On behalf of my entire family, we could not be happier and are indebted to them for the true home they have created for my dad.

Hello my name is Jackie, and I am a CNA/Caregiver, I have had a visit and a tour inside this facility 2 years ago and this place is very wonderful in and out, very clean n decent. As I walked through the door I felt the warm presence of my surrounding, the residence looks so glowing and happy with smiles.. The caregivers and staff welcomed me with compassion. I live in the area of Torrance and I always till today have said to myself " One day as a compassionate CNA/ caregiver this place Huntington Retirement home will be my Employer , the place where I can build a ongoing career ,and provide the needs and great service for the residents with dignity n respect!

Everything about this facility was exactly what our Mom and Aunt needed and then some. All the staff, from care givers to cafeteria, maintenance and housekeeping support and admin folks are all excellent. My Mom and Aunt were treated with respect and dignity and our family is grateful for this facility.

The Huntington's staff took wonderful care of my mother in the last three years of her life. The caregivers and medical staff were solicitous of her needs and loving in their attention to her. When I left in the evening, I had every confidence that she was in good hands. The facility is kept immaculately clean. There is a genuine feeling of community. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for a home for his or her parent.

During the time when my mother's strength and mobility declined, the Huntington staff were kind, supportive, and understanding. I am so grateful and relieved that my Mom could live out her last days in such a warm and caring environment.

Staff was pleasant and understanding very knowledgeable about the field they work in. They provided the best comfort and care for anyone that decides to become a resident there. Especially the facility care coordinator made an easy choice to go with them.
