This is a wonderful place for my mom. The care she receives for her dementia is wonderful. She is happy and eating and sleeping well and making friends. The staff is very compassionate and friendly and we are happy to have found this home for mom.

What is wonderful about our community is that weve been Covid- free since the beginning and all our residents have been safe. This is a lovely community for senior living and Im pleased to say that our community is open to all and new friends. Our residents enjoy independent living, assisted living and Memory Care. Quite expensive but they try to have reasonably good food and activities for the retired people living here. I just missed the wine and cheese social but Im going for an outdoor walk.

The staff at Atria Sunnyvale are very tenured which is hard to find in other senior communities. Tenured staff means less guessing games on the quality of care and services offered. The community runs like a well oiled machine and is filled with caring and professional staff to meet and exceed your needs.

Atria Sunnyvale is a great place to live! From the moment you start working with them, everyone you come in contact with is very pleasant and professional. Beginning with Patrick, Diane, Gail, every person at the front desk, the caregivers and the med techs are super! The food is good and the wait staff is kind and caring. I give Atria 5 stars. My mom mentions how Alvin is very helpful and I also like working with Coleen, one of the med techs.

Atria Sunnyvale has its own dedicated wing for those residents who are afflicted with either Dementia or Alzheimer's Disease called Life Guidance. Every time I visit Life Guidance I am always exceedingly impressed with their very comfortable surroundings and overall cleanliness. The staff always shows exemplary patience and kindness to the residents that live there as well. I always leave feeling very relieved that the elderly who live in Life Guidance that cannot take care of themselves have so many people caring people always looking out for them and keeping them smiling and happy.

My mother is new to the community and for a while, all she could say is that she wanted to go back to Washington state, where she lived alone in a house. But after 5 weeks, she has settled down and made some new friends. She loves the food (and so do I). During this time, I have heard some interesting stories from the residents and think the staff is outstanding. If I had to mention just one staff member, it would be David. He has a wry sense of humor and has really helped make the apartment like home for my mother. Thanks, David and the rest of the staff! --Wayne

I've lived at Atria/Sunnyvale for 3 years now. It's very clear that a team effort is required for success. Thus pointing out one individual for special attention can be taken as unfair to all the others. Some times I am cheerful, sometimes I am not. And I have little personality quirks as does everybody. But as a Parkinson's patient, I have to take two or more pills 5 times a day. When I know that Gerald or John are there at night, I sleep better. Day times, I look for Lorie, knowing that if she is on deck, my medicines will be brought on time. I am grateful for all the help I get. These three lead the line.

Atria Sunnyvale's Assisted Living Resident Services Assistants and Medication Assistants are Superb! Everyday i get compliments on how great the staff are. Peter, and Allen are very compassionate, and patient when providing care. Maria and Eglinda are always keeping an eye on residents and making sure there needs are met. Jane always has a great smile and cheers residents up. Jessica, and Lorie make sure all the residents are healthy and taken care of. Marilou, Alvin, Cynthia, and Annabelle are awesome and work so well as a team! I thank John, May, Sarah and Gerald for working all the late hours and making sure the community is taken care of at night. Jennifer is the most caring and considerate employee, she always goes the extra mile! I couldn't ask for a greater team and the residents LOVE them!

All of the people working at Atria Sunnyvale are very caring and helpful. They really do care and go the extra mile for the people in their care. Peter, Allen, Mercedes, Jennifer (and there are more, but I don't know their names) where constantly there helping my dad.

On behalf of my Mom, Anita, we are grateful for this excellent community, with which she just reached her 1-year anniversary. Kudos to Diane for all she does on the Administrative side -- she's always responsive and has a smile to greet me! Mom and I both have deep appreciation for Mercedes (housekeeping with a heart!), and Medical Aides Roche, Jean and Alvin who are so caring and responsive. Mom appreciates the excellent service from Dina in the restaurant. Thanks also to everyone on the facilities team for their attention when issues arise. We are grateful for the special touches put into holidays, and special events such as the luau, and halloween party. Mom is grateful for Mark and all his excellent menu items, the chef demonstrations, and willingness to listen and make changes -- there are so may palates to please! Finally, thanks to Zeinab for the communications and updates we receive via email -- it's very helpful to be current at the same time as Mom. Thanks, Atria Team, for creating a home away from home for Mom.

Atria Sunnyvale is clean and bright. All the employees are here because they love working with seniors. The team at the front desk: Nancy, Mark, Susie and Priscila, always have a smile and friendly hello to everyone. No request is too big or too small. Atria's Life Guidance housekeeper, Gloria G., is amazing! She goes above and beyond her responsibilities to make sure resident rooms are always neat and tidy. Thank you David for always being there to help when we need you. I couldnt believe how fast you fixed the broken lock on Moms door a few weeks ago. But, even more impressive was the way you were able to adjust her closet clothes rod as soon as I mentioned how Mom wished it were a little bit lower - Wow! you work miracles... Thank you for all you do to keep things in tip-top shape at Atria Sunnyvale. Med-Room Staff - You are all so wonderful and caring. Thank you. Care Givers - You know each and everyone of you are Angels. Thanks for all you do for Mom everyday. Mark and Kitchen-Wait Staff - What can I say, you make the best SOUPs and desserts in town! Thank you for always providing such wonderful meals from start to finish with a handful of love in every bite! Mom especially loves the French onion soup and eclairs... To the cheerful Receptionists, Nancy et al. Thank you for making it a Great Day at Atria every day! To the Administration: Wow! You have your hands full caring for everyone and everything, but Atria Sunnyvale is like a well oiled machine... it runs well and is very dependable.
