Eduardo was extremely pleasant and patient with us as he gave us a tour of the facility. My mom had stayed there back in 2017-18 and it was amazing to see all the ongoing renovations being done.

We found Sun City Gardens very pleasant on our tour yesterday. Edoardo was very helpful and upbeat. He has worked there 29 years and obviously enjoys his work. We checked out the independent living studio and 1 bedroom apartments. Both have been recently renovated and the 1 bedroom was quite roomy with a large walk-in closet. Both staff and residents were friendly and we were impressed that Edoardo knew the names of every resident we passed. We stayed for lunch as guests. There was a menu from which we ordered lunch. I think my 92 year old friend will be moving there in the next month or two. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the air conditioning in the dining room was not keeping the space very cool - however, it was 105 degrees outside! The grounds are lovely and well cared for. There are other renovations currently underway at the facility.

Suncity gardens was an incredible place for my grandpa to be ! The staff was always kind and welcoming. Whenever he needed anything they were always so attentive. I was able to have lunch with him a few times and the food was great as well ! Edoardo the sales director was one of the kindest people I have ever met. When my grandpa went into the hospital everyone was so helpful with making sure we could clean out his room and take care of his things for him. Esmeralda the move in coordinator was so helpful even before he moved in ! Everyone showed my family so much care and love when my grandpa passed. I am forever grateful for suncity gardens!

Eduardo and the staff are amazing at Sun City Gardens. I recently moved my mom into independent care and though she wanted to move there the transition has been difficult. The staff has gone out of their way to make her feel welcome and assist her when needed. The staff (including servers, maintenance, front desk…)know all the residence by name and greet them and ask about them. It is really impressive. I highly recommend this senior living community!!!!

We helped my mom into the Sun City Gardens independent living community in November. Everything from getting the space ready to getting her moved in to getting her settled could not have gone any better! The staff all seem to genuinely care about the residents. When I took my mom to eat in the dining room her first day, I could see that the waitstaff knew most of the residents by name. The food is very good, and everyone orders from a full menu with a wide variety of options. The rooms are nice, with new flooring, fresh paint and nice views of the center courtyard. Once my mom moved in, she needed some assistance getting use to a new home and new routine. The staff went out of their way to help her. They also have great referrals to community resources and are always willing to answer questions at the front desk.

Sun City Gardens in Menifee has changed my family's lives. My parents are thriving. Prior to coming here, my dad with dementia would sleep all day, while my mom was trapped in their home due to a disability. Meanwhile, as their full time caregiver/daughter, I was unable to properly care for them and our quality of life was declining. Now, here st SCG they walk to their meals through the beautiful gardens and have full access to the grounds.They love the activities and most of all the people. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The apartments are clean and beautiful. Our family is forever indebted to Sun City Gardens. Home.

I have had the privilege to see for myself, the Family Community that is Sun City Gardens. In attendance to the Halloween Bash & Thanksgiving Feast, I would like to commend Eduardo Estrada and his entire team. Their fun filled festivities were warming to my heart I truly see that they care about our loved ones at this charming senior living home. Well done Thank you to the entire staff. I recently moved to this facility and just love it! The food is great, they have good activities and the staff is wonderful! I have recommended Sun City Gardens to several of my friends and after they visited they are considering moving here. Thank you Edwardo and Esmeralda for all your help in getting me settled in, especially Edwardo and Scott. Kitchen staff are more than accommodating, I am a very picky eater and they make sure I get what I want.

Sun City Gardens is extremely friendly and really are caring to the the residents. Each member of the staff from administration to the kitchen staff to the floor staff went out of their way to help with our family member. They provide enough recreation for the residents and attempt to get each resident involved. Nothing is perfect, but any glich was immediately rectified. We were very pleased with the experience there. And BTW, one of the most affordable assisted living facilities in this area.

My move in experience was fine. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Prior to deciding to move here, staff answered my questions in a timely fashion. Provided meals are fine, not gourmet by any means, but nutritious, with options available should you not want the day's default choice. Parking spaces are wide and easy to get in and out of. The "community" members are very friendly and welcoming.

My 96 year old grandfather lived here for over five years and loved living here. He spent three years in independent living and two years in assisted-living. Eduardo was very helpful with the move in process and helped us get connected with VA housing benefits. There are always activities going on and the food is good. We always enjoyed the catered holiday family parties. The facility is beautiful with everything centered around the lush gardens. Once he moved to assisted living he got the best care from Twinkle and her staff. I never worried about him being taken care of and it was clear the staff treats their residents like family. My grandpa had hospice care at the end and the staff worked very well with the hospice staff. They helped in every way possible to support my grandpa and our family through a difficult time. I am so thankful for them and the way they cared for my grandpa. Do not hesitate checking this place out for your loved one. You will be happy you did!

We placed my mother-in-law here almost 5 years ago, the staff have been great. She is not an easy person to deal with but they have been very patient with her and informative to us. Edoardo and the front desk ladies have been so helpful over the years. We are getting ready to move her to a higher level of care at this facility since she requires it now. I know they will continue to take great care of her.

I know there are those that may have had difficulties here but not in my experience. My mom has been in Sun City Gardens over 6 months now. She is in the Alhimers part of the facility. After we toured the facilities and talked to the staff, all that was promised we received when we checked her in. Ever since then the staff has gone above and beyond for my mom. We go in several times a week to be with her. They make sure she is active and gets involved with things like exercise, plays bingo and goes out side. I never wanted to put my mom in a care facility but I am so glad she is there. My mom is actually happy and thriving there at 91. A big shout out to all the staff - thank you for all your hard work and caring for our loved ones!

Loved the apartment I had, and the staff, especially dining room servers and office staff are so patient and kind! But the food was awful, and having to go outside freezing cold, in the rain or 100 degrees+ to get to the dining room for prepared frozen microwave heated food was more than I could take. Left after 1 year.

We initially took my wife grandmother ther when then assisted living first opened up. We were please with the care and service so years later when my wifes father need Good place for independent living with care giver assistance of course we came back to Sun City Gardens. Edorado was very helpful in acquiring a room with a walk-in shower great view of the mountains. The care givers were very helpful in msintainig his care.

If you are looking for a great place for your loved one, take them to Sun City Gardens. There are amazing men and women on staff who treat the residents as if they were members of their own family. My brother has been at Sun City Gardens for 4 years now. Heres the thing, I admire kind people and this place has so many incredibly sweet people. They have huge hearts. Eduardo goes above and beyond to accommodate needs. Anna is a private contractor who you can hire, for a reasonable rate, to dispense medicine. She CARES for her clients. You can even hire someone to help with baths. I price compared when we moved him in, and the prices were among the lowest we found. Ive read some reviews about the food, and honestly, it surprises me because my brother LOVES the food. Although, I will admit, it isnt always the healthiest food, however it IS sometimes healthy, and sometimes its just yummy comfort food. You can always modify the menu to the healthier choice, but I think its cool that they have a choice. The apartment is basic and clean, but the grounds are beautiful for an evening stroll. They have a cleaning service that changes sheets once a week. During COVID, things are definitely different. Usually they come down to the dining room and eat at tables for 2 or 4 people (we like my brother to have companions to eat with). However now, the food is delivered to their rooms. Whenever there has been a problem, they have been gracious to work with me. Theres even a public library down the street, along with Cocos and McDonalds and even a Stater Brothers, Walgreens, DOLLAR TREE, and WellsFargo bank within walking distance. Plus they have a shuttle. Honestly, I cant say enough about the this senior community. They even have a church service in the facility. They also throw parties and have entertainment (not during COVID, of course). Seriously, for those that dont have a whole lot of money, you cant go wrong with Sun City Gardens.

I am so happy I chose the Sun City Gardens as residence for my husband. He was very Ill and I had my difficulties getting around but the staff at Sun City Gardens were so kind and helpfull I cant thank them enough for all the kindness and comfort they provided for us. I would highly recommend them to my family members and friends.

My mother has lived at Sun City Gardens for 2 1-2 years. We recently moved her from Independent Living to Assisted Living because she needs the extra care they are able to provide. I cant say enough good things about the facility and the entire staff. Everyone is so warm and caring, from the front office staff that greet you in the lobby to the food service people, activities directors, caregivers and housekeeping.The staff members know each of the residents by name which makes them feel at home.Edoardo always responds quickly to any questions or concerns we have. Esmeralda was very helpful with getting the paperwork processed and answering our questions. All of the staff are very friendly and professional.In addition, I am very pleased that Sun City Gardens is doing a great job protecting all of the residents and staff during he COVID-19 pandemic.

My 97 year old grandmother is a resident at Sun City Gardens and we are both so happy she made the move there. The staff is so friendly and helpful. My grandma loves Eduardo and likes to tell me he keeps an eye out for her. During covid, they have done the best they can to keep the residents safe and though its been hard, I appreciate their precautions for the good of the community.Thank you Sun City Gardens!!

My mom turned 96 today and has lived in Sun City Gardens for over a year. Though were in the midst of the Coronavirus, Eduardo and the staff sang Happy Birthday to my mom and all signed a card.She was so delighted! All of her kids have been sad that were unable to come visit during the stay-at-home order, but were sure happy and comforted to know shes in such a compassionate, loving place! Thank you to Eduardo and Sun City Gardens for taking care of our mom!!

I personally used to work here as a food server, behind doors the staff is incredibly hard working and put their best in the work they do for these residents. What people (as well as myself didnt realize) was that there is an incredible amount of work behind just being a server. Not only are they responsible for getting the correct food out to residents in a timely matter (along with the special platters such as Purées and Softs), but they also take time to memorize what certain foods people like and dislike. How they like their coffee, or tea. If they like 1 or 3 glasses of water at their plate. If they like gravy or no gravy, if they dont like their food touching or if they prefer dark chicken over white. Or what their favorite desserts are. Not only were we servers but we were also people/friends to talk to about the golden days I remember a resident that came to lunch the next day with a photo of his turtle that he wanted to show me because he thought I would find it interesting because of our conversation the previous day. And I did. I have had several jobs in the past, but I cant say any of them were as fulfilling as this job. If you are looking for staff that truly care about their residents I definitely recommend Sun City Gardens.

My dad has been at Sun City Gardens for the last 3 years. It has been a wonderful experience for both him and for me his daughter. Staff is extremely caring and are always there to help if needed. This January my dad celebrated his hundredth birthday. Robin the activities coordinator, arranged to have a special celebration for my dad. This just wasnt a little birthday party where you blow out the candles and everybody sings, but this was amazing. They had Menifee 24 7 there to take a video and stream live on Facebook. What was so great about the streaming live was that family members who couldnt make it there were able to watch the celebration in real time . Robin had a list of all the wonderful words that people say about my dad. They had a singer and entertainment. My dad was able to get up and tell everybody about his life and all the special people in it. I have to give a shout out to Robin the activities director, for making this day a very special day for my dad.

Amazing facility! My mother lived there in the senior apartments for only a few months when her cancer became terminal, but I cant say it enough how amazing the staff was, always accommodating and helped us in so many different ways from adjusting her meals to helping us in finding the perfect hospice for her..truly amazing facility with amazing staff!

My Mother moved into Sun City Gardens on August 18th 2017. It has been a very emotional time for the family, but the staff at Sun City Gardens has gone out of their way to make us feel at ease through this adjustment. The Staff is kind, caring and conscientious. We are thankful for all they have done for our Mom.
