We are still looking at places for a family member but I wanted to share something unique about this place I saw. I loved how The Memory care had lots of access to green space! This is the first place memory care place I’ve seen with trees, grass and room access to outside patios. As someone with a high functioning ALZ relative this has been a very difficult journey. The inside did look a little like a hospital but the residents seemed happy, well taken care of and safely able to enjoy the beautiful day outside. So many other Memory Care facilities have only had a single patio, no green space or nature for residents. Most memory care facilities have been extremely depressing to visit and often smelled like there were hygiene issues.I also toured the AL side and loved the size of the rooms. Yes this place is dated but there are more important things when finding a safe place for a loved one.

My mom has been at Rowntree in their independent living apartments, assisted living apartments and now in their critical care Elmwood Center. Im continuously amazed and the level of care, love and generosity she receives. Her medical care has been exceptional. The activities are varied, educational and super fun. The drs, therapists and staff are so loving and caring. What peace of mind I have! Maria, Geroldina, Vicky, Ben, Edwina, Brandan, Karen, Denise, Irene, Diana and all of the rest of the team have made this stage of life enjoyable! Thank you Rowntree!!!

My mother has been a resident since 2017. She gets the best care and feels valued and cared for by all the staff. Being in another state where I cant see her all the time, I have a great peace of mind knowing she is well taken care. Thank you!

I am so impressed with Rowntree Gardens. My mom has been there for about 8 months and she loves it. They treat her with such respect and care and the whole family is involved and feels the same way. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

This is the second my mom has stayed here. The staff is great. Also the people who do the hard work of changing and caring for the patients are nice and good disposition. This was not the case at another facility. Physical therapy great, all staff great. I can't recommend higher!

My Grandmother has been a resident at Rowntree Gardens for almost 3 years now. It is beautiful. She receives the best care. The staff are all loving and attentive. We are always made to feel welcome. I feel so blessed to have found such a lovely place for my dear grandma to live.

Rowntree is probably one of the most loving places I have been. The residents love living there and the staff all cherish their jobs. Even the food is good!

My Mom has been a resident of Rowntree Gardens for over two years. The care & service she has received has been excellent in every way. She is treated with respect, kindness and courtesy by all staff members. The communication with my Mom and our family has been great. The facility is very well maintained and was recently renovated. We are very grateful to Rowntree for providing the support and comfort my Mom needs at this stage of her life. I give Rowntree my highest recommendation.

I wish I had more elderly friends so I could refer them to Rowntree Gardens. My mother-in-law, Ruth, has lived there for 3 years and is very happy. I've seen a lot of retirement and nursing homes and there is nothing out there to compare with Rowntree. I took care of my mother, father, aunt and sister and I had some very horrific experiences. I can honestly say I am so happy Ruth found Rowntree Gardens. Everyone is so pleasant and seems genuinely glad to be working there. I have lunch with Ruth once a week and the food is wonderful. I believe they change menus every 5 weeks but they also have a standard menu that you can order from all the time. Since they have different levels of residence, you would never have to leave. Ruth has made so many friends and has taken advantage of some of the many activities being offered. By the way, Ruth is 102 and very active. She is even taking a IPad class. We are so blessed to know Ruth is happy and safe. It has given us such piece of mind to know she is being well taken care of. I strongly recommend Rowntree Gardens to anyone in need of any level of assistance.

My part-time position at the Rowntree Gardens front desk has been for the past two years the most pleasant job I have ever had. The people I meet passing the desk on their way to and from meals and activities in the Fireside Lounge and dining room are the most cordial, loving people. The Staff are like family.... Such a wonderful place to be, a community of neighbors of the best kind!!!
