My mom has had a very positive experience at Oakmont. The staff is caring, attentive, and always treats residents with kindness and respect. The community is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged and social. It gives our family peace of mind knowing our loved one is in a safe and supportive environment. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of everyone on the team and would recommend Oakmont to other families looking for senior living options.

I did extensive research on senior living and board and care facilities. My elderly father lived very remotely and needed immediate care and I wanted him close by so I could see him daily. I must say I was very discouraged. Until my very last tour which was Oakmont. I cried when I left. I found a place that was clean, gorgeous, with kind people. The community members were happy, clean, and had so many wonderful activities to choose from daily. I cannot say this enough..I could not have been more pleased or blessed by this place and its people. My father was there 2 1/2 years. Until his last breath, I could not have been more grateful or blessed by this place. I highly recommend this place. I would shout it from the rooftops if I could. If you have the need for senior care for someone you love and care about deeplythis place. This is the perfect place. I am so thankful for it. Cannot imagine not having had this place for our last 2 1/2 years together. Wonderful. So grateful for it. I must add that the staff here, from the chef, the housekeeping, the nurses, the hairdressers were beyond my most hopeful expectations. The director was so kind and so helpful when my Dad was getting difficult emotionally. And the health director, who was constantly available, so sincere, hugged me while I was in tears (often) making decisions that I never thought I would have to. Christina. She was my lifeline. Walked me through every step and was so caring, calm, communicative and stayed with us long after hours. I will continue to recommend this place to everyone. In a very sad, difficult, long, devastating season with my Dad..there is no place I would have rather been. My Dad would say the same thing.

Very clean facility and they have lots of events for the residents and spacious generous floor plans. They even have a movie room theatre on site with popcorn machine and wonderful outdoor garden. Stunning facility. Decent parking lot outside for visitors.

Oakmont of Simi Valley is one of the cleanest, nicest, and welcoming communities I have ever visited. The second you walk in, you are welcomed with a fresh scent and a smiling receptionist. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable. I have visited many other memory care communities and have seen what they feel or look like. Here I felt like I was at a resort for the elderly. Highly recommend this place.

I would definitely recommend this community because, The community is well maintained, they personalize the experience to the residents with several options for activities, the food is great especially the weekends with the options of Steak and Lobster. I walked in for a tour without an appointment and was pleasantly surprised by the service and endless amenities. This place is phenomenal. It is extremely clean, beautiful and has everything you can want including 5 star dinning and unless activities. The staffs seemed very supportive. Elizabeth provided us with an amazing informative tour. She was very understanding and compassionate about our complicated situation and eager to help us in any way she could but not aggressive like other salespeople at senior living communities I recently also toured.

What a special community! I came here looking for my grandpa and I couldn’t be happier with what I found. On our tour we were blown away about the care and attention Josh gave us in the dining room and everyone seemed so happy with what the kitchen was turning out. The food was beautiful and impressed even my stubborn gramps. We got a tour of the community and it is truly stunning care aids stopped and said hello, introduced themselves to my gramps and asked if there was anything they could help with. It was really refreshing to see people who seem to genuinely care. The lead care aid Ethan was so polite and treated my grandpa like he was already home. Five stars all around!

The staff from management, kitchen, cleaning, maintenance and activities at Oakmont Simi Valley are great and always show care and kindness to my grandma. The community is well managed and always clean. The activities and amenities are superb and allow the residents to always feel happy. I would say it’s the best facility that strives to provide a warm, loving, family environment for the residents and their families.

My parents were one of the first to move in June 2021. There were some bumps along the way for the first year, but since all the service and care has greatly improved. Let me first begin with the new(er) management. All are very approachable and respond very timely to all questions and concerns. They helped us work through some new issues with my dad and they have arranged for the best care possible. A special thanks to Kevan (Executive Director) and Vivian (RN). The caregivers and medical staff have been exceptional. They are all very caring and understanding. It truly takes a special person to work with the elderly keeping their dignity in mind. The caregiving service is fairly new for my dad and is working out very well. The Housekeeping staff do a fine job and go out of their way to please my mother even making her bed just how she likes! The serving staff go out of their way to try and accommodate special requests and are very kind and patient with the residents. They have improved much over the past 1.5 years and we are now very satisfied. A special shout out to Manny (Transportation), Nico (Maintenance) and Ariana (Activities). They all go above and beyond to help all residents feel cared for and loved. The Oakmont staff really treat my parents like family. While I live in the same town and still keep a close watch over them, it is very reassuring to know my parents are well cared for.

What an amazing place. Walking in was like walking into a Restoration Hardware showroom. Just beautiful. Elizabeth Zaharian was so thorough and knowledgeable during our tour, that I couldn’t think of a question that wasn’t already answered. Everything you hope to find, from the grounds, the staff, the amenities, the rooms we toured, and the little details you don’t think about when going through this process, were ever present. Upon entering each room, I kept thinking, when can I move in?. Assisted Living has come a long way over the years and Oakmont Simi Valley does not disappoint. We had to choose another location purely based on my mother’s preference of distance for family member’s commute, but this was our first choice, hands down.
