I moved my mom to this facility last June 2023 from another assisted living and I'm so HAPPY & the STAFF is excellent & very kind. I visit a lot and I am always pleased with every person from the Manager Lea , Head Nurse Elizabeth, all the med techs & caregivers! If you want a place for your loved ones this is a wonderful place! The custodial staff keeps the facility & grounds so clean & the laundry staff does a great job! This is a GREAT place...go take a tour & you will see this is a wonderful place for your loved one!

My grandma is in memory care here at Ivy Park. Vana and crew take such wonderful care of her and know her wants and needs. I can't recommend Ivy Park enough!

I want to give a shout out to Silvino in maintenance . He is so amazing!! He takes such good care of my father's room, keeping the carpet clean and sanitized when needed. He also has taken it upon himself to help us care for Charlie my dads parrot. We are so grateful, and Charlie has fallen in love with him because of his gentle kind spirit. Thank you Silvino!!! You get 10 stars in my book

My mother moved into memory care at Ivy Park in Simi Valley in April. She had recently had surgery and wasn't doing well. We thought she was close to passing away. The staff nursed her back to health and she is doing fantastic. They are very patient with her as she can be very feisty. I definitely would recommend. A special thanks to Vana!

The place is luxurious. But my dad (81yro) says that some of the assistants leave much to be desired as they seem to need more training on how to do their assignments. My father is rather particular about how he would like things done (and can be a difficult customer, to be honest) but he is articulate and clear about what it is he is asking an assistant to do. Recently the assistant has been, in my opinion, seems to be a bit passive aggressive towards my father by looking him in the eye and doing the opposite of what's been asked several times during an assistant's visit. Other than that, the place is huge, the grounds are lovely and the food is satisfying. The other tenants are friendly and sociable. My father is coming from a much, much more expensive place in Thousand Oaks, Belmont Village off Moorpark and Olson, and I must say Ivy Park makes that place look dilapidated and run down. Personally, I am quite pleased with the dining, maintenance, and concierge staff. They were all pleasant and efficient. High praise from persnickety people such as we

Note: My review from 4 years ago was regarding The Foothills. I don't have any knowledge about Ivy Park. Our father has been at the Foothills for about 8 months and we are so grateful for the kind and compassionate care he receives there. Our experiences with ALL the staff members have been so positive. I would love to list all of them by name, but I'd be too afraid to forget someone. It is such a relief to know our dad is safe, happy, and well cared for.

The Foothills at Simi Valley is a beautiful community. It has been remodel recently and you feel like you are walking into a lobby of a 5 star hotel! The staff are very friendly and makes you feel welcome from the time you enter the community. One of my favorite places is the dinning room, the staff are very courteous and you feel like walking into a high end dining, beautiful decorated. I have been coming to this community for many years and will highly recommended.

As an entertainer, I have a unique perspective when I perform at over 40 Assisted living facilities in and around Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. I see the really good the average, and the not so good. Foothills Senior Living in Simi Valley is one of the best of the best. When I walk in, the vibes are really good. The residents are happy and most have big smiles. Smiles are quite telling. The facility is very clean and the common areas are designer quality Lots of people ask me for my thoughts on a particular community based on my years of traveling to these facilities and it is always clear to me, what community I feel comfortable in recommending based on the area they are looking, The Foothills is at the top of my list for the surrounding area.

This is a wonderful place to bring you family to live. First off the staff are very personable and dependable. The building is beautiful and the residents and families love it. I would recommend this facility to families. They also do a lot of community events. I say just stop by and see it for yourself.

Today I visited my friend at Foothills for the first time. I was quite impressed. The place is very clean and nice. The staff is all smiles, and they are helpful. I paid to have lunch with my friend in the dining room. The food and service (Jade) was very good!
