Big thank you's to the entire Kensington Staff for surrounding my Mom with love and support! She recently joined the community and without the continued patience and love from her primary caregiver, Martha Reyes, her transition would not be as successful. The Kensington's approach is allowing Mom to maintain her independence while silently offering the daily care she needs to age dignified and gracefully!

The Kensington care is amazing! I feel So confident that my mom is being cared for with the best. Bianca kept my mom engaged in activities in KClub. Martha Reyes helps my mom shower daily and keeps her freshened up during the day while allowing her to do some tasks independently in memory care. The activities are engaging. My mom loves the daily live music. I truly feel at peace knowing my mom is getting good care at Kensington.

I had a chance to tour the Kensington and have to say that I was very impressed with the facility, the amenities offered to residents, the staff to resident ratio, and the environment. I would keep this on my short-list for loved ones looking for a prime senior living facility. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.

We celebrated my Mom's 92nd birthday this evening at Kensington. The tables were set up on the outdoor patio, it was so lovely. The service and kindness we received was just outstanding. There were 15 of us including 4 children. My mom enjoyed it so much. We didn't need to lift a finger. Kensington did everything for us and it was really a special evening for my Mom and for all of us. Thank you to everyone who participated in making the event so special. It could bot have been better.

I love the Kensington and I love that my Great-Uncle is able to be there. He said himself, the Kensington is EXACTLY as advertised in the brochure. It is a beautiful place with beautiful people as employees. We all hope to be so blessed as we get older.

The Kensington Sierra Madre takes excellent care of their residents. The atmosphere is like a Vermont Inn. The food is delicious, and residents are treated to live music every day. The staff is engaged and treat residents wonderfully. They even have an adorable puppy dog, "Miss K". They have events not only for the residents, but for the community as well. Highly recommend!

I come to The Kensington regularly as a medical cannabis nurse consultant and am so impressed by their openness to learn about different options to improve the quality of life of their residents. The facility is lovely and food is delicious! What sets them apart, I believe, is the training the caregivers have when they interact with the residents with varying levels or cognitive abilities. They are patient, kind and foster a positive environment. The right approach can avoid overuse of medications and improve the quality of life of the residents. The use of CBD has also provided a safe alternative to stronger medications for treating anxiety and sleep issues.

Exceptional staff! Evan in food services is fantastic. Martha and Luke are amazing team members. The place is always spotless and so welcoming. On a personal note, my mom lived at Kensington for 7 years until she passed away at 100. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is. The care she received was exceptional and I'm forever grateful to the entire staff.

My 98 year old veteran father lives at the Kensington. My 97 year old mother lived at the Kensington but passed of congestive heart failure in June 2020. COVID restrictions made her passing very difficult. The staff have been very supportive and attentive to my father. We Zoom twice a week and he is healthy. Two people can meet with him once a week in person while being masked and socially distanced outside I feel that the Kensington added quality and quantity to my parents lives. Upon arrival over 2 years ago my mother was very frail. She was almost bedridden. Due to the social activities, craft opportunities and family gatherings she greatly improved. Everyone from the concierge to housekeeping to maintenance to transportation to food wait staff to chef to case workers to nursing staff to support staff to directors are kind, caring and loving people. My parents made many friends of residents and staff. They were always treated professionally and with respect. I miss their friends and the staff. I look forward to the time we can gather again and give real hugs, not just airhugs.

The Kensington Sierra Madre put on such a beautiful Easter Luncheon today. The food was delicious and the staff was top notch! I know my Auntie is happy and is well taken care of with this amazing staff! Leandra, Jodi, Martha, DeeDee, Melissa, Cynthia, Daniel, Desiree, Evan and everyone (I would list them all if I could!!) you are all such a blessing! They all absolutely love my Auntie and treat not only my Auntie, but my entire family and I as their part of their Kensington Family. It's truly so special! We love the Kensington. They have taken such good care of my godfather. As part of the memory care unit, they treat him with dignity and understanding. His struggles with memory are managed in a way that keep him engaged in life and made to feel a valuable part of the community. The campus is beautiful, the food is very good and the service is top notch. The standard of care is unparalleled and have no reservations recommending The Kensington.

CC: It was with a very heavy heart that we departed The Kensington today after my husband of 46 year's, Scott Rickard, passed away. It's been a home to our family for the past 16 months and we will miss you all. Scott couldn't have been in better hands. I am so thankful that we found The Kensington - it was well worth the move clear across the country to place him in your care. Your staff has been wonderful - warm, loving, and always so helpful. Leandra has become a good friend - I will miss seeing her every day. She is an excellent manager and stays on top of what's happening. She is always there with a smile to talk and give support. I particularly want to mention both Martha and Luke. They are angels sent from heaven above. Martha loved Scott with her whole heart and he loved her - she took such good care of him and talked with him like a mother. She was always concerned about my wellbeing as a caregiver and gave me great advice and lots of love. Luke became Scott's best buddy. He always took the time to talk with Scott one-on-one on a wide range of topics and Scott loved having Luke there with him. Scott always mentioned his "friend" Luke to our friends and family. Others on the staff were wonderful as well - from the other caregivers, to the kitchen staff, to the receptionists. I wish I could name them all here. Again, always warm and welcoming. I love that the place is always filled with music, light and laughter. It's a beautiful, well maintained facility. Thank you for providing a home away from home for Scott. I know he is now at peace. I'm a Registered Nurse that has had multiple patients at this facility (past and present). The Kensington is By far this is the nicest, cleanest, and most professional senior care facility I have been to. The nursing staff, ESPECIALLY Erika and Daniel, are outstanding. The nurses/staff treat the residents as their own family members. The care and supervision they provide is excellent. The food looks great. 5 Stars all the way

I will probably need to post 10 reviews to make sure and thank all of the employees that make my dad's 94 year old life safe, warm and welcoming. I will start with what happens when I walk through the front door. I never let anyone know I am coming, but Cynthia greets me like I am long lost family. I forget for a moment that I am on my way to see Dad, and think it is great to visit Cynthia. I always feel like it has been too long. Everyone makes us feel like we are entering a luxury resort and they know who we are and out comes the welcome mat. I am grateful for the Kensington and the warmth I feel for my dad and our family. If you know me and you are considering the Kensington for a loved one, just ask. I mean every word in this review and I stand behind it. Cheers!

Thank you so much for your wonderful care! My father was at another facility and was met with poor care and little hope. Desiree Joy came out to evaluate him and was both caring and professional . She really went the extra yard to make the Kennsintim work for Dad. i cannot tell you how much peace of mind it gives us to know that my father will be treated with dignity and respect by a caring staff. I recently took my 95-year-old mother on a tour of The Kensington in Sierra Madre. What a beautiful facility! We were served a delicious lunch in the dining room and the staff was incredibly helpful, informed and attentive. When my mom is ready, we can be assured that she will be well taken-care of!
