First of all shout out to Brianna in admission for getting my mama in the facility in our time of need when my mama was too sick snd needed additional care after being hospitalized. She was amazing and she made it happen. Overall I was happy with the facility with a few exceptions. However, the nurses and CNAs particularly Emmanual, Besty , G, Lola; Mayra, Randy; Heidy, Yazmin; were all amazing and made it all better. THANK YOU for all the love and kindness you showed my mama while she was there

Please get rid of your "director of nurses". My dad has been at this home for about 2.5yrs. He's been on hospice the entire time for end stage dementia. He is currently on oxygen and morphine, choking, and having difficultybreathing. We don't expect my dad to be here to much longer. The 2 stars is only because the nurses and cna's have been great with my dad. Some even call him "grandpa". I truly appreciate them. If it hadn't been for them I would've gave no stars. Now, if you know someone with dementia you know they can have anger issues. This home tried to have my dad moved to another facility about 2 months ago. The facility was a REGULAR RETIREMENT HOME where people lived independently. When I called the facility to get their information, they said they had no idea my dad had dementia and that he couldn't care for himself and that Bethel administration never mentioned that. Bethel has been trying to get rid of my dad for a while now because he hasn't gotten along with his roommates so they haven't been able to keep a roommate in his room with him. We can't afford a private room. Now that my dad is about to pass away we've been going to be with him so he's not alone. My dad has 4 kids and lots of grandkids. The director of nursing talked to my sister (in front of our other family members) today and said when they put another person in the room that only 2 people can visit my dad at a time. My sister and niece got upset (understandably) because, how can you tell someone they can't all be with their dad at the same time when he's dying. The director of nurses told my sister and niece "well you can always take him home or have him transferred to another facility". My sister was livid and now so am I. How heartless of a person to say something like that to people that are watching their father die? And why, because your loosing money on the unoccupied bed (like we were previously told)? Well I'm sorry my dad hasn't died quick enough for you! The director of nurses should find a new line of work because she obviously has no compassion or bed side manner at all! Thank you to the nurses and cna's for treating my dad with kindness and compassion! I will be filing a formal complaint against the director of nurses with the board of nursing and the state. I will also be filing to have an internal review of this facility with the state. If needed I will also be filing a civil lawsuit against Bethel for the mental anguish and for them trying to send my dad to another facility that was not equipped to care for him and for falsely representing my dad's medical condition and needs.

Heather and the entire staff (shout out Lafe in maintenance) at Bethel have been so kind, gracious and helpful of my family who are residents there. We have had such a positive experience there and know our family is cared about, not just being cared for.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Heather. She has truly gone above and beyond in caring for my mother at the nursing home. From making sure her medications are always taken care of, to helping her transition smoothly into a new room, Heather has been there every step of the way with kindness, patience, and compassion. Not only has Heather been incredible, but the entire facility and nursing staff have been such a blessing. The nurses are attentive, professional, and truly dedicated to their residents. The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and provides an environment where we feel confident and at peace knowing my mother is in good hands. We are so grateful for the care, compassion, and support they provide every day.

My good friend was in Bethel Home for 6 years. She started out in the independent living cottage. Then when her health faded she moved to Bethel home assisted living and then moved to skilled nursing. Sam is the director of Nursing, she is awesome.‘ I would recommend this place if you’re unable to take care of yourself.

We can recommend Bethel Lutheran Home enthusiastically. Bethel has been part of our lives for over eight years since my mother entered skilled nursing. The caregivers have been attentive and comforting, both to my mother and to the rest of the family. We are particularly grateful for how Bethel went out of their way to help my father stay in touch with our mother throughout the difficult years of the pandemic. During the last year, my father also moved to Bethel, first to the assisted living wing, and later into skilled nursing where Bethel allowed my parents to be together in the same room. Each step on his journey was difficult for my father, but the caregivers were patient and helpful in making a safe and caring environment for him. It has been clear that the caregivers at Bethel genuinely personally cared for each of my parents. We have felt part of the care team; Bethel has responded to our concerns and suggestions; it has given us peace of mind that we could trust Bethel to take good care of our parents.

I was recovering from hip surgery. The rehab was awesome as was my everyday care from staff. Not only did they take good care of me but I observed how they treated all patients with patience and wondeful care.. I would recommend this facility to my friends and loved ones. The food would be my only complaint

I have been in many different convalescent homes both as a patient and as a visitor and I can honestly say Bethel Lutheran Convalescent home is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! They give loving care to not only the patient but their families as well. The facility is ALWAYS clean with no bad orders! The staff is extremely accommodating and keeps you well informed of ANY issues. I just can’t say enough great things about every department I greatly appreciate all of you! Thank you for the care you give my husband and myself!

Visiting my brother, Tracy, throughout his stay; I found the staff and the facilities excellent. Tracy was given loving and concerned care. He was always clean as were his quarters. He seemed very content with his surroundings. I would highly recommend this care facility to anyone needing this type of either short or long-term care. Sincerely, Jan Boling

DO NOT bring the person you love here! They will steal money and debit cards from your loved ones as they lay there DEAD and you're falling apart.. they also do things they're told are not to be done and it's laughed off like it's no big deal. The flat screen tv we took him because he had nothing in his room is nowhere to be found now either and we tried getting it back for weeks but it was in someone's office that was never there. And then to top it off.. mixed in with his belongings (mind you his things were given straight to us without a single question of who we were) were those of 2 other ppl including a wallet with cash, debit cards, and the worst part even her i.d. and social security card. It took from 11/15/23 to 3/9/24 for them to even give us his stuff! I appreciate them caring for him but this type of stuff is UNACCEPTABLE!

My mother was in assisted living and later moved to skilled nursing. She received wonderful care from the staff in both places. They took good care of my mother until she recently passed away. I appreciated the communication we received throughout her time at this facility as well as the care and attention she received.

This facility is kept very clean the first facility I have been to that does not smell like urine, but it smells clean when you walk in. The staff at this facility are incredibly sweet. They definitely go above and beyond when it comes to putting the patients best interest first. Very strong sense of community, and protection for those here. My grandma who is currently at Bethel. Lutheran is receiving the best care she can possibly receive all the nurses are really attentive to my grandma and exceeds her expectations. The staff is very thorough and responsible with the care of my grandma providing detailed care plans and treatment plans for her. I am very pleased with the care that my grandma is receiving through this facility. If I can give more than five stars, I would highly recommended shout out to all staff members who made my grandmas stay comfortable. We love Bethel Lutheran.
