My late mother spent her 98th year on earth, and then some, at Serenity Board & Care. In short order, It became her home. The owners and staff-Helen, Joel and Beth-became part of her family. It is no exaggeration to say that she truly loved them, and they loved her. When she was stricken with her final illness, the staff became an extension of her hospice team. Her final days were filled with kindness, gentleness, and love. When she passed, our loss was also their loss; they grieved along with us. The personal touch meant the world to us, and to my mother. We cannot thank them enough.
