I am beyond grateful for Home Helpers and the terrific folks they employee, especially this week. Maria has been taking excellent care of my dad for several months now. She is a joy to be around, makes him laugh, but keeps him in line too 🙂 She also does a fantastic job cleaning up his space, making sure he eats, stays hydrated, takes his pills, doesn't fall, etc. I say Home Helpers has been especially helpful this week because my dad has had 3 recent trips to the ER. He and I live together but, my nerves were shot. I was exhausted and overwhelmed. I called Home Helpers while we were still in our most recent ER visit and they immediately pulled through. Maria was gracious enough to make time in her schedule to fit in some extra time during the day to take care of my dad and they arranged for Liza to come at night. It has been a huge weight lifted for me. Liza is wonderful as well. Her first night was walking into just chaos as we were getting back from the ER and furniture in disarray and various spills and bodily fluids all over the place. She immediately dived into getting everything back in order while attending to my dad.

Home Helpers makes sure you get quality care. One day my care giver was sick and could not care for me. Since everyone else was busy and the owner didnt want me to go without care Bana came and took care of me her self. I call that more than caring. Very seldom do you find where the boss fills in for the employee. Also I like the fact there isnt a deposit before you hire your care person, that really bothers me to have to pay that... I think Home Helpers are the best.

My cousin called me to tell me that my uncle had a stroke and he needed my help him to find someone who could help him with his day to day needs. I did some research into a few different in home care agencies and most didnt answer their phone or call back. When I called Home Helpers I reached the owner Bana on the first try. I let her know my uncles situation and she was there to help us with discharging him from the hospital, setting up the schedule for his new medications and made sure his home was situated properly based on his new condition. The caregiver Marie is great and we really feel that she cares from the heart. They really made this tough situation easier.

Bana and Home Helpers were fantastic with my Mother. Along with our normal schedule when I needed emergency help I made one phone call and got the help I needed immediately. With their help Mother was able to stay in her own home until she died. They were here and supportive every step of the way. I dont know what I would have done without them. The caregivers were both professional and very caring. Mother grew very fond of one of them and looked forward to see her each week. I highly recommend Home Helpers.

Highly recommended! I used this service for my grandmother while I was out of town for several weeks on business. Bana and her staff were very attentive, punctual, and were very easy to communicate with. My grandmother was very pleased with the service as well. We definitely continue using Home Helpers.

Bana and her staff are the best! We moved from Illinois, and her staff did not miss a beat. They started working with us an hour after our arrival, and we have not looked back! Also, they are extremely caring, professional, prompt and very helpful! We could not survive with them! kudos to Bana!
