About Westwind Memory Care
Westwind Memory Care offers specialized senior living in Santa Cruz, CA. Our stand-alone Memory Care community is the only one of its kind in the area, providing a sincere, quality approach to dementia care with a local touch. Our caring team offers customized Memory Care and short-term Respite Care. We are proud to coordinate with local partners to provide in-home Hospice Care for your loved one, should the need ever arise. Our residents receive the attention and personalized care they need, with access to everyday activities, community interactions, and delicious meals. Throughout our community, you’ll find tasteful, homelike interiors offering a comforting color scheme reminiscent of ocean blues and sand dollar neutrals, lending a familiar setting to your loved one.
What do we mean by specialized senior living? Your loved one’s well-being is provided by a team of compassionate caregivers and nurses. Training consists of one-on-one interactive coaching sessions as well as weekly and monthly instructions. Our memory care expertise mantra derives from our sincere desire to do the work required in serving an aging, sensitive population. Each of our staff members has a choice in their career, and our calling is to work with seniors. We love what we do, and we’d like to introduce you to our team.
Westwind Memory Care & Short Term Stays
Our community offers two living options to give your loved one access to the right kind of care. Residents living with dementia will feel at home in our cozy, beautiful Memory Care community, where everything down to the smallest detail is designed to bring peace and comfort to their days. Caregivers in need of support can turn to our Respite Stay option for their loved one to stay with us short-term.
We’re here to help with anything our residents need, including activities of daily living, household chores, and more. Residents benefit from our personalized care plans which include customized assistance for each individual. Whether your loved one simply needs help buttoning up their shirt in the morning, or assistance throughout the day, we’re ready to offer it. Plus, you can let your mind rest knowing medical centers like Dominican Hospital and Sutter Health Santa Cruz Center are close by, should your loved ever need it.

Westwind is the BEST memory care facility I have ever seen. We needed to move our elderly aunt from her home because 24-7 care is VERY pricey and we needed to get her closer to family. We were so thrilled when we discovered Westwind. The building is gorgeous and the staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. They helped us with the transition and even worked as advocates for us when a certain medical group who shall remain nameless was lagging on her medical records. I can sleep at night knowing we placed our aunt in a safe and caring environment. She loves the activities and we enjoy visiting. We are very grateful to have found Westwind!
