Villa Serena has a fantastic group of residence residing there. The staff is one big family, even though we are not related. Like all BIG families we have our dynamics, good & bad, happy & sad. Crazy & not so crazy and never a dull moment. Most importantly is how much we care about our residence and each other. That's why it works. I am very happy to add that we have NOT had ANY Covid-19 at all and God willing we will keep it that way. We all have been EXTREMELY DILIGENT following all the rules put out by CDC, Department of Health, Governor Gavin Newsom. When I say "we all" I do mean the entire staff as well as the residence themselves. It's TRUE we're ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

Villa Serena is a place you feel at home. All the employees know who you are. They get to know you on a personal level. The cooks and kitchen staff are always available to talk with you about your dietary needs. Everyone is family...

This community not only offers large apartments for seniors but they are also affordable for the area. They offer three meals a day, weekly housekeeping, emergency call pendants, transportation to appts if you gave up driving, utilities, cable and a full activity program to keep your family member active. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! They have a duck pond with outdoor seating and lots of trees. Pet friendly!! The staff is very accommodating and very pleasant to talk too. It's a retirement community you must see!

This is a nice, affordable place for my mother. Mom has a nice 1 bedroom, with a fenced patio for her little dog. She enjoys the landscaping of the spacious, mature grounds - complete with duck pond and she is grateful she is not stuck in a modern high-rise. The buildings do not go any higher than 2 stories. Although, the facility is a bit dated, the service, good food and kind neighbors make up for that. What's most important is the peace of mind we have with her living there.

You would never know how beautiful this place is from the main street. There is a full duck pond with koi fish and a stream. In the spring-time there are cute little duckies running around. The grounds of Villa Serena are mature and it is beautiful a great place to relax and call home.

This is my second time coming to Villa Serena....Let me tell you about living here and why I am so happy here.I love the management (Tess and Robert). I love the activity director (omgoodness, is she fabulous;Lauren), I love Chef Paulo and the wonderful, healthy meals he feeds us. And the housekeeping personnel and the servers at the meals...how do they put up with us all the time with such smiling faces? Just the other day friends and I were out by the duck pond saying to eachother that we felt as though we were on a cruise ship...we are so well taken care of in this retirement home.I love it here. Please look me up when you arrive...I will rave to you about this place and all the wonderful folks who care for us. Thank You. Daphne B. Kennedy

I have been at Villa Serena for 11 years. I have made lots of friends. The minute I opened the door to my apartment I was at home. I have felt at home ever since. The staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent. If the food is not right, I can talk to the chef and he will fix it. Thank you Villa Serena.
