This is by the far the best memory care in the area, all do to the wonderful director Richard Olson. He is very passionate and committed to his residents and their families. He is also very knowledgeable with the Alzheimer-dementia disease and makes sure the needs of all his residents are being met. He is so compassionate and caring your loved ones will be in the best hands with Richard.

This place is my second home. I am proud to be part of a dedicated team that has continued to provide excellent care for our residents while facing the immense challenges of 2020. Our executive director has shown up every day, seven days a week for the past few months to offer his support to the front-line staff. I appreciate the care Atria has shown for its employees through its training and education programs and ample supply of PPE to keep us safe. Im proud to work for such a great company and community!

Looking for a place for my mom was a challenge. I wanted to find her the perfect place. After scheduling a tour of the facility with their wonderful sales director, I knew we had found the right one. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The studio apartments have a beautiful layout. My mom also enjoys the many amenities they offer as well. I couldnt recommend this place enough. I know my mom is safe, happy, and always entertained at Atria Willow Glen.

When it came time for my great grandmother to be placed in a memory care unit we realized that their were many options. The beautiful community grounds at willow glen along with the big backyard of the memory care building made it an easy choice. My great grandmother had been living independently at 99 years old and we were worried that she would have a hard time acclimating. It was a pleasant surprise for me to find out that The Memory Care director was Richard Olson. Richard and I had worked in health care together previously and I knew that she was in good hands. His engaging program and knowledge of Dementia and the disease process made all the difference. He is able to define the individual needs of the residents, which I believe makes a huge difference. The staff are polite, caring and my great grandmothers transition was much easier than anticipated.

With my grandparents getting older, my family and I searched for the perfect new home for them and I am happy to say we found that at Atria Willow Glen. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are beautiful, and the endless activities are enjoyable. This creates a space where my grandparents not only feel at home but feel like family. My grandma truly enjoys the different activities and clubs offered which keeps her busy with a new hobby every week lol! While my grandpa loves the serene setting that includes gorgeous landscaping and greenery while remaining safe and secure. Not to mention the table service provided which includes delicious food that attends to my grandpas special dietary needs. Running all of this is an amazing team of people that we are so grateful for. The staff at Atria Willow Glen could not be more kind, helpful, and accommodating. Knowing my grandparents are in good hands allows my family and I to finally sleep soundly. We could not thank you guys enough! I completely recommend Atria Willow Glen for anyone looking to find safe, beautiful, fun, and welcoming senior living.

If you are looking for a home away from home, this is the place. 7 acres of outdoor space, swimming pool, Koi pond, and even a dog park! Staff will take care of all your needs; great food, entertainment, housecleaning, and a friendly smile. Come meet new friends, join a book club, play a game of Scrabble, or just relax in the sun with refreshing beverage. Its the best move you will ever make.

For starters, pets are welcome. Who doesnt love furry friends? Atria offers culturally diverse choices that meet the different cultural dietary, linguistic and religious-based needs of local populations. There is a specialized memory care program which features a unique layout to promote familiarity and reduce confusion. This community works to keep couples together and helps accommodate couples with different needs. Medical transportation services are provided, weekly housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, a full-service salon, and an entire department dedicated to providing recreational programs, activities. And last but not least, respected receptionists who keep the show running. The list goes on, but Ill stop here and dive a bit into the cultural side of things.Culture has played an important role in shaping my attitude toward elder care. From a traditional perspective, it is not uncommon for Asian parents and grandparents to continue living with their adult children. In some traditional Asian cultures, speaking openly about death is taboo and even considered disrespectful. The world of senior living felt like uncharted territory along with an uncertainty about the distinction between independent living, assisted living (different from a nursing home) and memory care. Though, after seeing the different levels of care here at Atria Willow Glen and its dedication to cultivating their own culture, Atria has positively influenced my perspective on senior living.

What a wonderful new home we found for my father-in-law! We moved my father-in-law Allan to Atria Willow Glen from southern California. He was reluctant at first, as it was a big move away from his home of 50 years. The staff and residents took him in and made him feel very welcome from his very first day. In just a few weeks he was playing BINGO and Blackjack, singing in the choir and had a lunch crew. The campus is amazing--7 acres of lush green space with a wide variety of trees and flowers, a koi pond and pool. The landscaping was his favorite part about the community, as he was an avid gardener. He even joined the gardening club! Allan really embraced his new home with all of the wonderful amenities, and friends he made. My father-in-law has passed away now, but we will be eternally grateful to the staff and residents of Atria Willow Glen for helping him to transition to a new home, and enriching his life

Simply fantastic! I went in to Atria Almaden last week and secured a beautiful studio apartment for my father. This place is awesome – state of the art and tons of great activities for my dad to stay busy. The building itself is going to be beautiful. Three restaurants which include a sky lounge car which my father will love. Plenty of opportunities for socializing. I think my father will thrive in this community. Highly recommend!!!

Two years ago we had to move our father into a dementia care facility in San Jose. We new very little about the process and what is the most importin to look for when selecting a home. We selected a facility that was new and clean and very friendly. But little did we know the one importin thing we didnt ask was the tenure of the employees, come to find out it was a revolving door. New employees at each visit, with not consistence of care for our father. We relocated dad this late spring to Atria, top of our list of question was tenure. We were blown away with the the longevity of the staff, every personal has a name tag and on it is how may years they have worked Atria. We are truly thankful we found the right home for dad and how caring they are, there is laughter and joking abound. The team really feels like a second family.Dont let the old of the building stop you from coming in, because the warmth of the hearts will win you over. We are a believerThe McLarney Family

We are grateful to the team at Atria Willow Glen for providing a wonderful community, beautiful grounds, good food and a vibrant social activity life for our mom, Jo. She lived their very happily for 3 years, until we persuaded her to move across the country to be closer to us. She made great friends at Atria. She got involved in the food committee, participated in the swimming classes, belonged to the Mahjong club, went on countless trips and outings, and enjoyed the fine cuisine and meals. As her children, we were overjoyed that Atria was such a great fit for her and that she happy living there. I will miss feeding the Koi fish in that gorgeous pond you have outside the dining hall. So peaceful!

I always recommend Atria Willow Glen to my clients who are exploring senior living options, and all who moved in have given me glowing feedback. I think the most remarkable feature of this community is the natural setting with towering pine trees and lush landscaping throughout the expansive 7-acre campus. I also love the huge number of resident clubs and organized activities; virtually every hobby can be indulged and many new regular activities started. The staff is always friendly, engaging and helpful, and the food is consistently some of the best in the senior-community business. Atria WG also offers a full spectrum of care from regular mobility assistance to advanced memory care (MC). The MC-dedicated secure outdoor area is the largest of any of the assisted living communities in the area with a long circular walking path and a shaded patio area.

My Dad has been at Atria Willow Glen for almost five years and has been living in the Memory Care Unit for almost 3 years. He receives the best care that I can imagine! The staff is caring and completely dedicated to all the residents there. I can sleep better at night, knowing that he is safe and Well cared for.

My sister has been there for almost a year and she has very good care. The care givers are so loving and gentle with the patients..my sister is always clean and dressed neatly.
