We are a private, peaceful property located in San Gabriel. Residents appreciate the short distance to local attractions, activities, and events. My mom was admitted here for a month after her hip surgery. At first, we did not think this was a good place for my mom after reading the ratings and unfortunately, she's a very difficult person to attend to. Due to the location of Pinegrove, we had my mother transferred to Pinegrove from the hospital. After a month of her being there, we could not be more pleased with the service at Pinegrove. Everyone is really nice and my mom has zero complaints about the staff. She likes the food which is a shocker and when I talk to her on the phone I can hear the staff checking up on her. When I visit her she's always doing some sort of an activity and she seems very comfortable in her room. I want to thank the staff from here for doing such a great job. It can be very stressful in times like these but Pinegrove has done an amazing job aiding my mom with her recovery. Thank you so much Pinegove Healthcare staff!

It is with the deepest respect for each and every staff member with whom my Dad, brother and I interacted, that I recommend Pinegrove to anyone who is in the sad position to have to place their loved one in a nursing environment. The care and attention that our Dad received was beyond my very tempered expectations. As an overprotective Daughter, I had the highest level of trepidation. So much so that I panicked when we arrived, and wanted to take my Dad home. I was assured by Dad's Doc that decision would mean certain, and painful death. The compassion and care paid by EVERYONE at Pinegrove that evening and throughout Dad's relatively short stay was outstanding. I agonized that first night, but finally acquiesced to keep him there, for at least 1 day, so that the team could prove to us that they would show the utmost care, dignity and respect to Dad. Every team catered, graciously and patiently, to our Dad's requests. To say that our Dad wasn't the most easy patient would be an understatement. Not only was he treated very well, so too were both my brother and myself. After 2 1/2 weeks, we made the difficult decision to honor Dad's wishes to take him home. While leaving was one of the most difficult calls we've ever had to make, we knew that HOME was where HE "needed" to be. The support given us for home hospice placement was fully aligned with other behaviors we'd encountered; very helpful. Dad has been home for only 1 day. His prognosis appears bleak at this time. But... in the end, it's his life, and his wishes that matter. Even upon leaving Pinegrove, the compassion and support from everyone, was literally overwhelming to me. My Most Sincere Thanks to Dr. Dang, Yessica, Anelyn, Luke, Allen, Loida, and each of the RNs, Physical Therapists & CNAs who cared for our Dad. There were so many... Debbie Arbiso, Upland, Ca.

My family members are recuperating in your nursing home due to health reasons. The staff here are very friendly, especially the nurse Megan Zhao, who cares and takes care of the patients in every possible way. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks! My grandpa spent a few weeks here during Covid. They have strict protocols to ensure safety of their patients, employees, and visitors. Doctor and nurses were kind.

My father spent the last 1 1/2 yrs of his life here and we are so thankful for the care he received. The facility is bright and cheerful with a very nice central courtyard. Staff are friendly and the director, Luke, cared for my family far beyond what was necessary.
