My mother recently passed away at 93 and the most comforting feeling is knowing she spent her final days in the care of the most beautiful and comfortable home with the most confident and loving care givers. Making the decision to leave your own home is not an easy one. The staff at Ivy Park immediately made mom feel at home, feel loved and most importantly feel safe. Her care givers felt like new grandchildren to her; so caring, so kind and so attentive. She sincerely loved them all and a few of them even attended her funeral. This facility instantly feels like a family. In our short 6 month stay, even I felt like part of the family and made some wonderful new friendships with other residents and their families. They welcome families to all activities and celebrate more holidays than I knew existed. We made some of our most precious family memories at Ivy Park. The care went above and beyond my greatest expectations and felt like a 5 star hotel around the clock. My only regret is not making this move sooner so mom could have enjoyed the resort a little longer. Thank you Ivy Park. Your love and devotion to my mom was invaluable and deeply heartfelt. Our family is forever grateful that we found you.

Our mom is in memory care and receiving outstanding care. The staff is so kind and gentle and successfully encourages our mom to eat with others in the community and participate in activities. The instant I walked through the front door to start a tour and spotted a few residents laughing along with a caregiver as she helped them walk to a lovely table set for lunch, I knew this was the right place for my father. Happy residents, engaged caregivers, and the aroma of a delicious lunch and fresh baked cookies filling the air. The folks who run Ivy Park spent a great deal of time showing me around and explaining how they care for their residents. They described what makes them proud of their facility. But even if they didn’t explain all those strengths, I could see in the smiles and the eyes of the many residents I met that afternoon, that Ivy Park was doing things right. Move in day was easy and dad has been happy and so pleased with his new life.

The location of this Ivy Park is prime! It is nestled in a quiet community, close to grocery stores, and tranquil parks. The living facility is immaculately kept by warm, and pleasant staff. We’ve had an amazing experience at Ivy Park San Marino! My mother moved in a little over a month ago and it took her some time to become acclimated to assisted living. She was unfamiliar with the routines, and the language barrier added to her frustrations. The staff couldn’t have been more patient and kind!! They took the time to reassure her in her moments of uncertainty and to understand her wishes. The entire place, from the executive director to every member of the health and care staff have been exemplary in their kindness and care. Excellent facility!

It was clear when our family toured Ivy Park, that this is the perfect place for our parents. When you come here to tour, you’ll notice that everything is very clean, and the staff is super friendly, and that REALLY IS how it is all of the time! The building is small enough that it’s easy to get around, there is a relaxing patio, good food, fun activities, but the best thing truly is how much the staff really knows and cares about each of the residents.

Sunrise San Marino is truly an exceptional facility with some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable staff that money can buy. The facility is modern and impeccably kept, with an air of home that is rare to find. So much so, that it made me think about my own long-term planning care plans for when I grow older. The work ethic and high value placed on individualized services permeates throughout every interaction with the community, and through every corner of the facility. As a hospice nurse, I visit my patients where they live. This is one of the nicest Assisted Living Facilities I’ve been to. The residents are well cared for by staff that know them well and are for them as if they were their family. As an outside professional, I’m treated just as well by the staff. If I’m having a bad day, I always feel better when I get there because I’m treated like family. I absolutely would recommend this facility to anyone.
