My sister has been a resident at the memory care unit for over 6 months. I have seen a marked improvement in her ability to walk and converse. Joy ( Emily) Quilet, the Memory Care Director has a good team of caregivers and med technicians. They know the special needs of each resident and try to work with them and their family members. Joy has a pretty full set of responsibilities but always finds time to engage with the residents and their family members. Fili Igafo, the Executive Director does not closet herself in her office. While charged with many responsibilities she finds time to visit the memory care unit and entertains the residents with her ukulele. It is refreshing to have senior managers engage with residents. The caregiving staff have the most challenging task of attending to the numerous needs of the residents. They are the real force behind the quality of experience the resident and family have while at Ivy Park. They need additional staff. The management team recently organized an event for residents and family members. The food and entertainment created a sense of community. The music transported some of the residents with dementia to times they enjoyed and you could see them tapping their feet to the music. Great initiative! One area that could be improved is better processes such accounting. Otherwise Ivy Park Cathedral Hill's memory care unit is my sister's home. Thank you especially to the caregivers who patiently take care of her.

We just got my brother placed into Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill. My brother was very resistant, but once he got there, he's been really happy. The place is great. The apartment is really cute. The facilities are clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Russell, the Marketing Director, has been absolutely amazing in getting my brother placed, answering all of our questions, and responding to and dealing with any issues that we raise. Very happy to have my brother in a supportive community when my brother can thrive.

My aunt was placed in this facility - I live overseas and my aunt needed urgent respite care. I had some issues getting through initially to get updates on my aunt; but Ivy Park have responded well to this issue and I have now updated my review. I am confident that this facility is highly professional and provides a responsive and caring service and am impressed with the level of support provided.

Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill is an excellent place. I've visited 15 places in the bay area for my mom who has dementia and found this place to be the top of my list! Daily care, activities, meals, and staff are beyond and beyond my expectations. I myself, would be part their resistance when the time comes for me.

We have had a phenomenal experience with Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill! The application process was transparent, and the facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and is classically San Francisco. More than anything, I have to compliment the team from everyone to Josh at the front desk, the sales team, Cecibel the resident care coordinator, to the awesome maintenance team Arturo and Irving who have been over the top in helping my father settle in and get comfortable to his change of living environment. Everyone on the staff has been incredibly courteous and responsive, and the care they provide is genuine. So happy we found this place for my father AND that he has loved being there!

My sister and I recently moved our mother to Evergreen, the memory care facility at Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill, and we are all extremely happy with her new home thus far. Working under Emily "Joy" Quilet, the director of Evergreen, the caregivers at Ivy Park approach the residents with respect, compassion, and open-heartedness, which we have learned is tragically rare in memory-care facilities. Both residents and visitors are treated like family here, with the perfect balance of being informed and the feeling that we can feel confident that our mother is well cared for. There is a full schedule of activities to keep the minds of the residents alert and active, from movies to sing-alongs to flower arrangement, and the building is beautiful, like a high-end hotel, with garden spaces, a library, and so on within Evergreen, so it's like a safe, self-contained world. When reading the negative reviews below, it's important to know that Ivy Park recently changed hands, and from what we can tell, the change was for the better. We moved our mother from another facility in San Francisco that was Hell on Earth and caused us constant sadness and worry *on top* of our mom's dementia. Evergreen is the future of memory care.

When I first entered the lobby here I knew this could be my forever home. Residents are extra friendly and upbeat. There's lots of activities for enrichment. Communication between residents and staff is excellent. I know I am safe and cared about here. I'm not used to living in San Francisco yet but it offers a lot.

We recently relocated our mom to Ivy Park from another facility, and we couldn't be happier! The staff has been nothing short of amazing. Right from the beginning, they've been accommodating, welcoming, kind, and pleasant. They've convinced us that we made a great to choice for our mom, after looking at many different communities in the area. And since she's been there, we have a great feeling that she's safe and happy and comfortable, as well as feeling engaged in an active and lively community of wonderful staff, caregivers, and fellow residents!

Some of the staff is lovely. Rhonda especially and Courtney who I met the other night. This place is so expensive for what you get. They have all these activities for their residents but what you want is basic care. My mother in law has fallen 3 times during the last 9 months. Their staff is so incompetent; when I asked what happened not a single person in front desk or their med tech could tell me. The reply I get often when I do talk to someone is "we just changed shifts" so they don't know. Last week there was no bottled water for my mother in law who can't get up and walk well. So a day went by. No water. I had to drive over and fill a carafe with water for her She didn't eat all day. Perhaps she is not well. Shouldn't one person go by and check to make sure they are okay??? A few days later she fall and had a stroke. My god, what is a place for seniors if they cannpt routinely check up on them. This is totally not what I expect from this plac

My mom just moved to Ivy park two weeks ago from a place that was a complete nightmare. So far we are very pleased with everything. Everyone is very kind and caring, the food is great and we don't need to chase anyone to do their actual job. But today I found out that one of the sales managers who I spoke to yesterday (Raul) and who has been absolutely amazing since my mom moved here, suddenly doesn't work here any longer. I am a bit shocked as there was absolutely no indication that he was leaving. I hope it won't affect the great impression we have had so far but loosing him is definitely a huge disappointment.

Thank you Carol Dowell Director at Ivy Park for listening to our situation with your ears and with your heart in helping our family with a negative exit , turned positive. My Father was extremely happy for your help in our issue, I apologize you all had to acquire all the negativity from Coventry Place. I believe the location is solid, I liked mostly everyone outside of memory care and with great leadership this location has great potential especially if your in need of assistants to go to ucsf and also memory care has a nice layout , the process just needed fixing and I'm sure Oakmont knows what they are doing in this industry. I have visited your local property here in Monterey and its very nice . Mom and Dad are completely different people today and are doing much better in good care and good spirits in assited living and not memory . I wish every one well ......

If I could, I would give Daniel Friasvidal, the Director of Sales, 10 stars. He took the stress out of the stressful process of looking for a new "home" for my parents. He was friendly without being pushy and did a very nice job setting expectations. He was transparent, caring, patient, helpful, and super responsive. My parents moved into Coventry Place a couple of weeks ago and first impressions are good. They say the place is first class. They like their apartment and enjoy the restaurant style dining and most importantly, the food is delicious. We are happy that they now regularly attend exercise classes and enjoy yoga and tai chi. Mom went to the beauty parlor recently and said her hair hasn't looked this good in years. They like the other residents and look forward to relaxing at the coffee bar, watching movies at the onsite theater, going on outings, and doing activities like flower arranging. They are also pleased there is an onsite Physical Therapist and a hotel that we can stay when we visit. So far, so good. I'll update this post in a few months with my parents' feelings on other aspects that require longer term observation and experience.

My now-98-year-old grandmother has lived here for almost 4 years now, and I used to visit her every week with my family. Once moved to SF, I started visiting a few times a week (pre-COVID.) Staff is warm, friendly, and they know residents' names. I love the woman who does my grandmother's sheets--she speaks with my grandmother in Cantonese, has two kids (one went to Lowell and is now at UCLA!) and is just wonderful. Also shoutout to the front-desk staff--I feel comfortable and safe knowing my grandmother is safe and well-taken-care-of. I love the events they host for residents, their (pre-COVID) workout classes, afternoon tea/coffee, decorations for holidays...would recommend!

My mom has been at Coventry for the past three owners. We are very pleased with the new management. The staff that interact with my mom are exceptional. They are very loving and caring and took excellent care of my mom when she got sick. It isn't perfect but from where I sit, I can tell that they are continually working to improve life for their residents.
