California Caregivers helped care for my mom when we were in a serious pinch. John came through quickly with understanding our needs (even coming out to meet them) and quickly finding caregivers that made my mom feel comfortable, and allowed me to know she was safe, day and night. We needed care quickly, and at awkward times and had changing schedules. I was not disappointed, even when they had to find someone very-last minute to care for my mom. My mom and dad were comfortable and satisfied and really really enjoyed almost all of the caregivers. (a few were satisfactory, but most were excellent). If my parents had not moved into assisted living, we would still be using California Caregivers. Thanks John and team.!!

When I was exhausted I called this service. We set up a schedule for my husbands care and immediately I had the extra help I needed. Each of the caregivers brought sunshine into my home and the visit was looked forward to by my husband. They were caring, showed concern for my husbands needs at 99 years old. They are a local to Sacramento area and the owner was available to advise with expanding needs.

The services provided by California CareGivers was beyond compare in providing care for my 85-year-old mother. In addition to the compassionate care given by all caregivers, the caregivers were quick to call if there were any questions. I felt a part of the team. California CareGivers has been providing care to my 82 year old grandma for almost a year and I cant say enough great things about this company and their caregivers! My grandma LOVES her caregiver. Her caregiver really takes the time to help her with housekeeping, meal prepping, errands, and taking her to and from appointments. Words cannot begin to express our gratitude and appreciation for the service, support and care we received by California Caregivers for our beloved mother. I will attempt to capture this here and hope this will help anyone in a similar situation to make an informed and thoughtful decision to select them.My mothers journey started about 18 months ago when she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. She was immediately put on chemo and the unknown was scary for the entire family, especially since my brother lived out of town and I was miles away in London. We immediately decided that we would activate moms long term care and seek out care giving for mom.Our first encounter with Daniel from California Caregivers was so helpful and informative. He came to the house to meet with us, understand our specific needs and personally got to know mom, not only to identify what her her assistance needs would be but also to make sure they aligned the right character for mom and someone who would embrace moms beloved companion, her golden retriever-lab. From that moment on, we knew we found the right place.Angie was assigned to Mom and we started out with a 4 hour morning shift. CA Caregivers immediate set up the family living room, an online service where we could log in and see moms latest care notes and schedule. This provided a necessary piece of mind we needed considering the challenge of distance and time zones for my brother and I. Angie provided attentive care, companionship, conversation, and company that mom needed during these uncertain times. They developed a close relationship beyond care, this is where California Caregivers stand out from anyone else. Mom was not just another person on the roster, she was part of their family and each caregiver became part of our family.Every caregiver assigned to mom was strategically and thoughtfully placed to ensure her maximum comfort, ease of transition and completely put her in charge of her own care; independence was required for a successful partnership . As moms condition started to change, California Caregivers were right there to work with us and accommodate how we could increase her time, eventually to a 24-7 schedule. Julie, Amy and Aniko were an amazing team who looked after mom with such devotion and provided mom the dignity and grace which we deserved.Our caregiver was in the room through moms final moments; both my brother and I were by moms side and were comforted by having such graceful care and presence from the caregiver. There is no way we would have been able to manage the entire journey without the help of California Caregivers; for that we will forever be eternally grateful and will remain in touch as they are an extension of our family. Thank you Daniel, Inna, Heidi, Laura, Barb, Ophelia, and everyone else.

After interview a couple of different agencies, we selected California Caregivers to provide in-home care for my grandfather. Though I live thousands of miles away, I rest comfortably knowing he is being well cared for. My grandfather can be quite difficult at times, but hes very pleased with his caregivers. The communication is great. The staff both in-home and in-office are very helpful. I would highly recommend this agency.
