Such a beautiful piece of property.... A rose garden mature red wood trees among other beautiful landscaping. Many activities both inside and outside available ... a pool a hot tub... beautiful patios with areas to relax in the shade... or feel the warmth of the sun. The restaurant style dining room has creative and nutritious meals... available all day long! Imagine sinking into a cozy chair and watching a favorite movie!?! The rooms are beautiful with Large square footage... an array of amendments and recent upgades. I couldn't end without saying thank you to Kimberly. Who was amazing at showing me the property, answering many, many questions... Not only for me, but from my brother, who has my mother with him in So Cal. Thank you kimberly you really have made a difference,!!! © And it's just very thoughtful and kind.

This facility consistently maintains a high standard of cleanliness, both in the resident rooms and common areas. The dining room staff is attentive, and the food is consistently of good quality. My grandmother receives excellent care, and we are especially appreciative of Melvin, who stands out for his warm personality and exceptional attentiveness. He is not only highly accommodating but also genuinely social and caring. My mother visits nearly every day and is equally pleased with the level of care and the overall accommodations. As someone who frequently visits care facilities as part of my profession, I can confidently say that this is one of the best I’ve encountered. The environment is clean and welcoming, the activities are plentiful, and the staff clearly take pride in the care they provide.

My husband and I wanted to start the search to be prepared for when my mom needs assisted living so we went on a tour this morning. We don’t need to search any further. This place is awesome. It has lots of options. Whether you want to live on your own if you need assistance, . The restaurant is just like a restaurant so the residents don’t feel like they have to be in a buffet line. They are served. There’s many options for activities. A beautiful pool. The staff were amazing when the time comes. This is a great option and it’s so affordable.

This is the second assisted living home my mom has lived in and my Dad also lived in one. Of the three homes Cogir is by far the best. My mom feels truly cared for and I am so grateful! Thank you to the wonderful staff!

My parents moved to Cogir about 4 years ago. At the time, and after some conversation with resident's, staff and different families, we though we had found a wonderful place for our folks. In hindsight, we were wrong, maybe those people were hand picked to speak to us. At first, during the "honeymoon" stage of their stay it was nice. There were some things that needed repairs when they moved in, but promises were made that they would all be fixed. We're still waiting for those to happen. The dinning room seemed pleasant. Food was good and presented in a nice manner. But now, there are few waitstaff and the food is substandard to say the lease. Not only is it un-caringly placed on their plates (or containers if picked up for home dinning) it shouldn't even be served to the our older community. The food is highly salted or spicy and most of the ingredients come form canned good (also high in sodium). And covid is no excuse as an excuse! I guess maybe Cogir thinks it's ok, because the residents feel they can't complain or shouldn't because it wouldn't do any good. Our older people are like that. Most of them just take what's given to them. They are paying top dollar for these services. The amount these seniors are paying is far greater then the service they were promissed. And what Cogir is giving them is substandard service. I hope by my speaking out it will encourage others to do the same.

There is no other place where my father thrives. We have tried many others and there’s no comparison. The home publishes his stories in a newsletter, encourages him to hold lectures for residents and he plays poker 2 times per week in a lively group. The director and staff care and help any resident find or even create their healthy niches, whatever it is. Quality of life comes first here.

Recently, I was able to visit the Rohnert Park retirement community with a family member. Although, they were not able to make the move yet, I was really impressed with the set up. They called it resort style living, which is really impressive. I liked how you pay one monthly bill and everything is included. The apartments were brand new inside, with full size refrigerators and stoves. Which I noticed other senior communities did not offer. Also, as we walked around I noticed that the people living in the community looked happy. When my relative is ready to move, we will be going back to Rohnert Park.

I have worked with several clients at this retirement community and they are all very happy. I have had a few meals that were all creative and delicious. It's a beautiful property with a caring staff and very friendly residents.

This is an amazing community! You can feel the love everywhere when you are there. The community has recently undergone a lot of beautiful renovations that really add so much elegance. The staff is attentive and caring and always go the extra mile to ensure their residents are happy. My mother has flourished since she has moved in. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone!

November 5th - *Update to my original posting. I am going to give the staff credit and thank them for reaching out quickly to us. That is a positive sign that hopefully things are moving forward in a good direction for everyone. Will update if necessary. Original post: My grandparents have been living here for approximately 3 months. This place is not cheap. My grandmother wanted to not have to cook anymore, and was dissatisfied and disappointed in the quality of food provided. If I could rate this zero I would. The food quality is consistently poor. Overcooked veggies, tiny budget for the head chef. The chef himself has apoligized for bad quality as he lacks funds to get better food. This place is purely profit driven without compassion. Profits over everything including the well being of the tenants. They have the AUDACITY to institute a rent increase come January 2020. I will do my best to inform others of the conditions provided
