My sister entered The Pines with Stage 4 Cancer. "The Pines" was like a Guardian Angel on her shoulder. Stephanie Foster was absolutely amazing helping us find the perfect room, making sure every need, no matter how small or large, was met with kindness and care. The open dining hours from 7am - 7pm were especially a blessing for days when eating on a schedule was impossible. We both loved the great food, movie theater, library, and piano guests. The warm atmosphere created by beautiful art and decor on every floor made it seem like a 5-Star hotel. ALL THE STAFF, including medical, dining, activities, housekeeping, and maintenance were kind and attentive to her every need from beginning to end. Finding The Pines was a true treasure!

My Aunt moved her 2 years ago and absolutely loves so many things about the Pines. The staff is fantastic! The activities and friendships have been key to her enjoyment. Unfortunately the food has been the challenge for all. Nothing from scratch cooking (which by the way is required in all schools). Once in a while something delicious like Salmon, but once every 6 months. The Pines you can do better!!

Amazing place ! Mom and I just took a tour of this beautiful place with Stephanie Foster this morning. I would highly recommend anyone looking to do a tour. This place has so much to offer seniors - card games , movie theatrea beauty salon but the food options in the dining hall is the number one thing I think was great. It makes me wish I was a senior I would totally live here

My 96-year-old mother entered The Pines, Rocklin, memory care three years ago after we did a search for the best. We picked The Pines and remain delighted with the choice. Excellent communication at every level. Outstanding management. The general manager, Henry, is not only welcoming and caring, but a true professional and his entire team reflects his excellent management. Roy, the Head Nurse of Memory Care, is sincere, compassionate, and professional. Roy is also excellent in listening and communication. Her thoughtful management is appreciated. The Med Techs/nurses and caregivers have been outstanding, also combining professionalism with compassion and consideration. Billie, the activities director is tireless, positive, engaging, considerate and caring. From the start, my mother said, "I like it here. I want to stay." The team makes a point to seat her at meals and other times to promote engagement with others. They tailor the care to fit her needs. She said, "They [The Pines] train their people to treat the elderly with consideration." What better testament to good management at every level could one ask? Kudos to Henry, Roy and the entire team.

My step-mother is living in the Memory-Care facility here in Rocklin. I am in Fresno and have trusted the great staff here doing family type’ care for her. Every staff member from Admin(Carren and Lacy and Raja) to on the floor staff (Andrea and Taylor) love their work and I am truly blessed to have my Step-mother in their care. Thank you Pines for the excellent work in caring for mom. She had to get settled in but now after many visits to here I can see she is doing well. Thanks again.

Although the necessary move from home to memory care was very hard for my dad, we are very grateful for the care he received at the Pines. The caregivers and management were 5 star!! They treated Dad like he was family. They opened up their hearts to him and he opened up to them. He loved to tease and goof around with them and he especially loved to dance with them. Dad loved the entertainment and he was able to enjoy music which he loved. I appreciate that we could come and visit Dad anytime. We grew to feel so comfortable there that the staff and residents felt like dear friends to us. I am very thankful for my decision to move my dad to the Pines. My sister who’s a resident loves the Pines. She originally was in an assisted living where she was very unhappy. She loves the activities at the Pines and the special events for the holidays. I’m very happy she’s there.

The caring staff at The Pines has done everything possible to make my mother’s transition into memory care/assisted living as easy as possible.

My mom made the difficult decision to sell the family home and move into an Independent/Assisted Living community. Although she remained relatively independent, her husband required more assistance than she was able to provide. We tried several alternatives and home health care assistance, but ultimately it was more than they could handle. After many months of visiting and interviewing numerous facilities, my mom decided The Pines was the best fit for their needs. The Pines was able to offer my mom the assistance needed to care for her husband who is blind, walker-bound, and requires several medications multiple times a day, all while maintaining her own independence. And although my mom passed away only three months after moving into The Pines, her husband has chosen to stay. The outstanding care and understanding the staff has provided during this difficult time makes them the exceptional residence they are. From the beautiful facility to the numerous amenities, the entire "team" has ensured every need has been tended to. To that regard, my step-father has relocated just down the hallway into one of the smaller units and is very happy that he does not have to endure another major move yet again. He loves that the dining staff knows him by name and what he likes to eat, that the med techs are friendly and knowledgeable, and further that the senior staff has been ultimately engaged in every aspect of his care. The Pines has been a true blessing in our family's lives.

Great community! John, Henry and Mandee go above and beyond to make sure every single resident receives the highest level of care. Their caregivers and med techs are also amazing! They all know each and every residents needs, likes and dislikes. This community overall provides some of the best cars in the Rocklin area.

Im updating my review from a year ago.This is a nice place with very good staff. My father was very comfortable there, his room was very nice. Happy hour is the best, the residents really look forward to it. They always have live music and Its a great highlight for everyone. Very friendly servers in the dining room were happy to serve the meals just how he wanted. When it came time that my father needed very special help, the management was extremly accommodating and arranged it so my father could stay and was comfortable as possible. I could not think of any place that would have been better for my dad.

My husband and I have been residents since last summer 2017. We have our little dog with us and enjoy all the activities that we can attend. Our favourite is happy hour on Fridays. They are amazing. Food is very good dining room open from 7am to 7pm. Transportation for shopping and scenic drives keep those that want out but gave up their auto really appreciate this service I have special needs go to dialysis 3 times a week and most of time there is a bus or van to take and pick me up We feel its the launching pad to heaven but in the mean time it's fun and friendship for most. Dianne the new GM is doing a fantastic job. Her staff the best. Thanks to our children who found this home. Now they don't have to worry about us we have been married over 60 years and look forward to few more here

As of a few months ago the pines got a GM that cares , she rocks , this manager has cleaned This place up . She is making it a 5 star . Theses residents are happy and love living in there home and most important they are safe ..
