The caring staff at The Pines has done everything possible to make my mother’s transition into memory care/assisted living as easy as possible.

My mom made the difficult decision to sell the family home and move into an Independent/Assisted Living community. Although she remained relatively independent, her husband required more assistance than she was able to provide. We tried several alternatives and home health care assistance, but ultimately it was more than they could handle. After many months of visiting and interviewing numerous facilities, my mom decided The Pines was the best fit for their needs. The Pines was able to offer my mom the assistance needed to care for her husband who is blind, walker-bound, and requires several medications multiple times a day, all while maintaining her own independence. And although my mom passed away only three months after moving into The Pines, her husband has chosen to stay. The outstanding care and understanding the staff has provided during this difficult time makes them the exceptional residence they are. From the beautiful facility to the numerous amenities, the entire "team" has ensured every need has been tended to. To that regard, my step-father has relocated just down the hallway into one of the smaller units and is very happy that he does not have to endure another major move yet again. He loves that the dining staff knows him by name and what he likes to eat, that the med techs are friendly and knowledgeable, and further that the senior staff has been ultimately engaged in every aspect of his care. The Pines has been a true blessing in our family's lives.

Although the necessary move from home to memory care was very hard for my dad, we are very grateful for the care he received at the Pines. The caregivers and management were 5 star!! They treated Dad like he was family. They opened up their hearts to him and he opened up to them. He loved to tease and goof around with them and he especially loved to dance with them. Dad loved the entertainment and he was able to enjoy music which he loved. I appreciate that we could come and visit Dad anytime. We grew to feel so comfortable there that the staff and residents felt like dear friends to us. I am very thankful for my decision to move my dad to the Pines. Im updating my review from a year ago.This is a nice place with very good staff. My father was very comfortable there, his room was very nice. Happy hour is the best, the residents really look forward to it. They always have live music and Its a great highlight for everyone. Very friendly servers in the dining room were happy to serve the meals just how he wanted. When it came time that my father needed very special help, the management was extremly accommodating and arranged it so my father could stay and was comfortable as possible. I could not think of any place that would have been better for my dad.

As of a few months ago the pines got a GM that cares , she rocks , this manager has cleaned This place up . She is making it a 5 star . Theses residents are happy and love living in there home and most important they are safe ..

I have worked in In-Home Health Care since the late 90s. Often times the natural progression is that my clients have to move to an Independent or (even Assisted) Living facility, for various reasons. Of the many communities I have been to with the clients or visited, The Pines has been my favorite.From the staff to the food that they serve, The Pines has been consistent across the board.If you are considering a place for yourself or a loved one, do yourself a favor and meet with Carrin (she can answer any and all questions).f you are seeking out a facility that caters to Memory Care, ask for Diana. These two have shown nothing but compassion and quality care, from what I have seen. You deserve that, as do your loved ones.

My husband and I have been residents since last summer 2017. We have our little dog with us and enjoy all the activities that we can attend. Our favourite is happy hour on Fridays. They are amazing. Food is very good dining room open from 7am to 7pm. Transportation for shopping and scenic drives keep those that want out but gave up their auto really appreciate this service I have special needs go to dialysis 3 times a week and most of time there is a bus or van to take and pick me upWe feel its the launching pad to heaven but in the mean time its fun and friendship for most. Dianne the new GM is doing a fantastic job. Her staff the best. Thanks to our children who found this home. Now they dont have to worry about us we have been married over 60 years and look forward to few more here
