The staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome for newcomers. The residents are just as kind, which has made my mom feel right at home. One of the highlights has been the food—it's absolutely fantastic! The Independent apartments are spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Even though my mom has only been here for a week, she's already enjoying a full schedule of activities and outings. I couldn't be happier with the care and attention she's receiving. We love our experience at Artia Rocklin. My mom needed respite care after a fall and surgery. Nate worked his magic and found a room for her at a days notice. The staff welcomed my mom with open arms! We are a week into her stay and have no regrets. This is a view outside her window.

UPDATE: I wrote a prior review (see below) awhile back and want to update. I recently relocated ouy of state, and I was tentatively considering whether I should move my mom closer to me. But the care she gets at Atria, the fabulous director and staff, and the love she feels in memory care convinced me and my brothers that my mom should remain there despite my moving far away. We are each able to come to visit her periodically but we also know that even in our absence, our mom is receiving outstanding care and is safe and happy. My mom had an annual telemed appointment this morning with her neurologist and Denise Pascalau, the memory care director, offered came in on her day off, at 7 am no less, to facilitate the appointment so that I could appear from out of state. Her input during the appointment was invaluable. She knows my mom so well, knows her quirks, her likes, her dislikes, and what she needs to be happy and healthy. I just can't say enough good things about Denise and her staff. I think Atria is the best in the business of caring for older folks and especially those with dementia and Alzheimers. PRIOR REVIEW: My mom has been in memory care at Atria Rocklin for about three years. The director, Denise, and her staff are amazing. I am there on a fairly regular basis and routinely observe the interactions between staff and residents. The residents are treated with love, support, and endless understanding and patience. The staff are on top of everything, every single day. Residents in memory care can be challenging but the director and her staff are truly amazing in how kind they are to their residents, and how they tailor their approach to each resident's particular needs, personalities, quirks, and challenges. They have endless patience and always exhibit good humor in performing what is a challenging job. The amenities are outstanding, as is the food! The staff members regularly keep family apprised of their loved one's health and take care of all of their needs. I couldn't ask for a better place for my mom. My mom started in the independent living apartments about seven years ago. She loved it and enjoyed her two-bedroom apartment, her neighbors (who quickly became her friends), the fine dining (the food is outstanding) and the activities. She eventually moved to assisted living, then to memory care. All along the way, Atria and its staff have been nothing but kind, supportive, and professional. I really never have a moment's worry about my mom and her wellbeing. I strongly recommend you check this place out for your loved one.

Senior Care is one of the most physically and emotionally demanding professions in existence. I had the distinct pleasure of visiting Atria and took a tour from Nate Morse. Not only was the surrounding area safe and beautiful, but the staff seemed genuinely thrilled to be there. I was thoroughly impressed how they handled the memory care with patience and grace. There seem to be more and more senior care facilities in the area so I wanted to write this review to make families feel safer about putting their loved ones here at Atria.

Making the decision to move my parents away from their home and into Atria Rocklin was a challenge. My parents are adapting and at times want to go back to their previous life, but they always compliment the staff & services at Atria Rocklin, and say "this is a great place to live". There are newer facilities in the area, but Atria's caring staff cannot be beat. Atria Rocklin has a comfortable home-like atmosphere. Not only does the staff excel with care, but many of the residents help and encourage each other. I am very thankful my parents live at Atria Rocklin.

I have had 3 seniors over the past few years that I have moved into Atria and all have been success stories. In all 3 cases, the folks I moved there were in very tough circumstances, all facing various challenging health issues and situations. In the most recent case here in 2023, I was questioning if the person would survive very long. Atria was a great blessing in every case, especially the latest. Their care staff is on target, always checking on the residents and meeting them to accomodate their needs in every way. The staff is well trained and able to adjust on the fly as needed. Resident's situations change continually, especially as there health changes. Atria's concentration on resident safety is also impressive! Always watching to make sure the residents are safe. Their transportation folks are on it too! Delivering and picking up residents for doctor's visits, shopping or whatever they need. And entertainment and exercise are also provided. This is always a clean atmosphere with no concerns about how your family will be cared for. In these days where many seniors are ignored, you want to make sure that you place your loved ones in the hands of only those you can trust. Atria is the place for our family members! The pricing is very fair and the service is impeccable. You can trust this facility! And one last thing, the staff actually shows that they care for the residents. A person with few freinds quickly finds out how valuable the community around them can be. In every case, there has been a period of time where a new resident feels very much alone and in "shock" about their move. In these cases, the staff steps in to comfort, talk to, and make them feel like it is their home. It doesn't take long for the new guy to become part of the "Community". I have always felt that Denise and the rest of the staff have treated dad as if he was one of their own family members. Atria Memory Care gives my family piece of mind that my father is well taken care of.

I cannot begin to share how thankful I am that my mom is in memory care at Atria, Rocklin. She has lived in all three stages of living, independent, assisted and now memory care. The staff are so kind and caring of not only my mom but of the whole family. I feel blessed that she is residing in a such a safe, caring environment. The employees on all levels are all angels. They feel a genuine connection to their life's calling and it shows with how wonderfully they deal and interact with their residents. Would highly recommend anyone explore Atria, Rocklin as an option.

My 93 year old Mom loved this place. She felt safe, food was good, employees treated her like family. My Mom lived in the Assisted Living part there. Had a beautiful studio apartment. She had a lot of friends there. Even a boyfriend. The whole facility inside and out was kept spotless. When her health started to fail Sutter Hospice Care work as a team with Atria employees. I live roughly 75 miles away and Atria staff was excellent keeping me informed in between my many visits. I never worried about her safety there. My Mom enjoyed the arts and crafts and she loved the excise classes. She loved the people and employees so much and love her studio apt. She called it her "Home Sweet Home".

My Mom-in-law has been living at Atria Rocklin since July 2022 in a one bedroom independent living apartment. While contemplating her move, we visited several other independent/assisted campuses before landing on Atria Rocklin and she has been very happy with her decision. The first thing that stood out in our observations was the staff. We could see from their interactions with the current residents that they were respectful and courteous. I'm there regularly and have been consistently impressed by the care and professionalism of the staff. They are friendly, careful, patient and supportive and it provides great peace of mind. Chris and his maintenance team are quick and wonderful responders to any questions or requests she has had. It's a very nice and safe feeling to be there and see staff members walking the halls checking in on and chatting with residents. There is a nice, cozy community feel and she has made many friends already. She also really enjoys the many activities offered (she is taking Tai Chi wow!) I highly recommend Atria Rocklin!

I moved my Mom in 3 days ago. Atria gave me a list of movers in the area, I used New Leaf Senior Transitions to help me back and help sort and downsize and I used the movers they are set up with, Fuller Moving Services. It was a great day. All the packers and movers were wonderful to me and my Mom, and caring with with her possessions. Every person we have met at Atria, Director, Sales, maintenance man, they all came through her apartment on the first day to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly. Every resident that passed us said hello and welcome. Could not have been a better move in day. We even had dinner delivered to her apartment for both of us as we were tired from the move, and dinner was delicious! I now can rest knowing my Mom is happy, safe, and will be checked on everyday. I am very happy with Atria Rocklin. 5 Stars !

My dad was a resident in the Memory Care Unit at Atria in Rocklin for the last year and a half that he lived with Alzheimers Disease. As a family member who had many years of experience working with those with Alzheimers and Dementia myself, I am familiar with the complexities involved in providing a nurturing, safe and consistent environment where residents have the best possible chance to live with Alzheimers vs. suffer from it. Atria proved to be, in my opinion, the one place that gave my dad that chance. After a short time of moving there, Covid escalated to full lock-down, and family members were not allowed to visit. As a result, our family lost the last year of time my dad had whereby he had the ability to recognize us clearly. That heartbreak will always be with me, but I take comfort in knowing he received genuine hugs, quality care and was safe at all times at Atria. I highly recommend that if you are facing the difficult decision of entrusting the care your loved one to a Memory Care facility that you take a tour at Atria in Rocklin.

There are so many great things about Atria Rocklin that it is hard to limit it to a short review! Before moving to Atria, my grandparents were living at home alone. My grandmother had a stroke 6 years ago that has really limited her ability to communicate and physically get around. My grandfather's health has not been as great recently either, and it was difficult for him to take care of himself, my grandmother, and their home. After touring Atria, my parents decided that this was a great place for them. The care is wonderful, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I'm so happy to see them doing so well since moving in. My grandmother went from having a hard time with word retrieval to enjoying talking with her tablemates at dinner. She is absolutely thriving! I'm happy to see that both of them are socializing with others, as they've spent the past 6 years only spending time with each other. We couldn't be happier with how they are doing now that they are in great hands!

Getting our Mom to move to Atria Rocklin was one of the best thing we did. She loves her apartment, and the new friend she's made. The staff is friendly and helpful. They all know her by name! The food is great. We love that she now eats with friends for all her meals. Activities are all day, they keep her entertained and active from morning till night. We love this community!

I am a disabled veteran with a service dog. As I aged it got more difficult for me to simply do the normal things in life, such as shop, prepare meals, clean up afterwards, housekeeping, yard maintenance, home repairs, .... I decided to look into options. Now change is not something I like doing, and changing my living conditions is one of the top 3 changes that produce the most stress. In looking around on the web I inquired about a dozen, one being Atria Rocklin. I visited half of those when I got an invite from Atria Rocklin for their October Fall Festival. I attended. It was a very good event, with lots of people sitting at tables set up in the parking lot, music and great food in buffet style. I got to go table to table talking to people about how they liked living at Atria Rocklin ... what they liked, and didn't like. The only dislike I heard was from one guy that said, 'A lot of people here just can't hear too well'. Hahaha I could relate to that. So I decided that was were I was going to move to, as moving to a two bedroom apartment with a single car garage would probably be the less stressful change moving from a 3 bedroom 2200 square foot house with a 2-1/2 car garage. I was right, and I was wrong. I concluded any move is just plain stressful. The biggest stress at this point in my life turned out to be, 'Downsizing'. I accumulated a lot of, 'Good old stuff' over the years, and found it not easy to release some of it. I chose to take a month moving and moved stuff over to Atria Rocklin day by day (fortunately I lived in a neighboring city). I put things away day by day, and when a space was full I was done. The rest was sold, donated, or given away. It turned out easier than I thought. One of the nice things about my day by day approach was I had lunch, or dinner on those days. I got to sit at different spots with different people in the dining room. I got to talk with people. I am of the, 'Different strokes for different folks' view of the world. I found there was plenty to do at Atria Rocklin. I particularly liked the 2 exercise classes a day, and the weekly Happy Hours and monthly 'Friday Social'. The staff is A+ and the friendly, helpful nature easily turns a dull day into sunshine and smiles. I have a service Dog, a Labrador Retriever. He fits right in, and I think is more loved by most of those that meet him than they will admit. I like the food preparation here, and so does my dog. Personally I really enjoy a glass of wine, a fillet of sole with baked potato and vegetable and chat with a resident friend for dinner. Followed by a cup of coffee and a desert brings me smiles, as I don't have to prepare, or clean up, just enjoy, and enjoy I do. After a year at Atria Rocklin, like those I talked with at the Fall Festival, I have no negatives and simply a boatload of pluses and smiles. I made the right choice, even though I have found that a lot of people here really can't hear very well.

You can go into so many care facilities and feel like a burden to the staff, but not at Atria Rocklin. You walk in and feel welcomed and heard. I cant recommend Atria Rocklin to enough people looking for care!

My Mom moved in to the Life Guidance Neighborhood 5 months ago. The facility is immaculate and the staff is amazing. It was a difficult move for all of us, but with the constant support of the staff from executives down to the line caregivers the transition has been much better than expected. They have redefined what I thought memory care could be. Atria has been good for the entire family, not just my Mom.
