There are a lot of good things to say about Summerfield. But the best decision admin has made recently is adding Robyn to the activities team. Her exercise classes are the best. Dementia is unpredictable. But whenever my mom starts her day off with Robyn, I can rest assured that she's going to have a good day. Robyn has a special gift with the residents that is rare, and we grateful to have her.

My husband was in Summerfield for a few months before his passing. The entire staff was good to him. I was there almost every day so I saw the way staff treated him and others. They're very welcoming to family and other visitors. I couldn't have asked for anything more than what we found at Summerfield. I would highly recommend!

I just wanted to share how supportive and kind the staff are here at Summerfield. My family and I went in for a tour by Heidi. Needless to say, touring locations to place our family member has been extremely difficult and emotionally draining. She was very informative and transparent about the services offered here which was so helpful in making the right decision for our family. I really felt that she cared about our needs and listened to our concerns. The building and staff itself was great. The current residents looked well cared after and all of the staff were attentive and polite in their interactions them. We felt really secure about the next steps thanks to Heidi and the other staff at Summerfield.

My husband and I both feel that Summerfield is a warm and loving place for all of their residents. Heidi always kept us informed and Robin was a welcoming face to see. As to the activities, Joanne was absolutely amazing! I don't know how she does it. We also worked closely with Delcie, his LVN. She was always there. I'm not sure when she sleeps. All my dad's Med Tech's are a team. They work tirelessly together. His care staff, Connie, Rosa, Lisa, Jessica, Raylene and Vanessa, each of them have angel's wings. Thank you Summerfield for your dedicated work.

As a hospice nurse, I have worked with several assisted living facilities. Summerfield, is exceptional. If you are looking for a home away from home for your loved one, you came to the right place. The staff is genuine, professional and caring. The kindness and compassion can be felt from administration, nursing staff, maintenance, etc. Every employee I have encountered at this facility has been phenomenal. The residents are cared for with such love and respect. I would highly recommend Summerfield of Redlands to anyone in need of great care and I look forward to working closely with Summerfield.

Since we moved my grandma into Summerfield of Redlands 4 months ago we have seen the most unbelievable changes in her. When grandma lived with my mom and I she was very isolated and was not getting enough socialization and interaction due to mom and I working and feeling the guilt of leaving her home most of the day while we were at work. We tried private care givers which were great they were so kind to us but even that was not enough for my grandma from the time we toured this community to the heart breaking moment of moving grandma in, the staff was there by our side assuring us that she was in good hands. They were absolutely right. Now my grandma has friends and attends most or all of the activities daily. The smiles and interaction with every staff member and the residents are priceless. Mom and I would like to give a million stars however we can only choose 5. We couldn't be happier we love you Summerfield!

First thing I noticed was there was plenty of staff. Other places I had been there was no one around. Not here, the staff are very friendly and always helping the residents. My mom has been in the facility a year and has had great care as her condition gets worse. The facility is very clean and doesn't have that horrible smell like other facilities. Before placing my mom I went to other memory care homes checking them out. By far this one made me feel the most comfortable in placing my mom. The front office staff are always there to help with any questions. Gloria was there every step of the process and I greatly appreciate that. Placing a loved one is a very hard decision and Gloria made it easier with the transition for the resident and the families. Highly recommend summerfield to anyone placing a loved one.

Ive recently placed my husband at Somerford, have been overwhelmed w- the compassion shown towards him. Monica, especially has gone out of her way to make sure hes active. Hes reconnected w- someone he met when he was attending the daybreak activities earlier this year. Danica Gloria have helped me through this transition, providing me gentle guidance w- comforting words encouragement. Having worked in the assisted living industry for 15 years and managing a memory care unit myself I can safely say that this facility is top notch! My observations of the stellar care they provide along with compassion, kindness and friendship they express to the residents is exceptional. From the Executive Director to the Wellness Director, Dining Services, Activities, Housekeeping, and Care Team, there is definitely a sense of family at this assisted living facility. The residents have the freedom to roam in a variety of locations within the community which is quite large. I frequently see activities occurring at this location and resident participation is prevalent. I would highly recommend Somerford Place for your loved one with memory impairment.

I recently did two paint night fundraisers for Alzheimers at Somerford, and worked closely with Deborah Walls to put on the events. Every detail was professionally executed. Deborah is warm, welcoming, caring and I was treated like family from the beginning, which I know is reflective of how everyone is treated at this wonderful facility. The staff is friendly, caring and helpful and giving as well, and the food for the events was top notch. I feel I have gained not only a wonderful opportunity to serve the community by supporting such a wonderful facility, but also a personal friendship!

Somerford Place is in a great location in Redlands. Its very safe - it is very secure and the residents are protected. Deborah Walls is the person you want to talk to about all their offerings. Shes fantastic. Their most impressive offering is their Bridge to Rediscovery which has been shown to help those suffering from Alzheimers. One thing I love about this place is their separate communities (neighborhoods) that each have their own theme, which helps residents remember where their room is and where theyre supposed to go to eat etc. Great idea!

The transition to Somerford for our family member exceeded our expectations. Mom was already a resident at another assisted living facility when they recommended she move to a memory care unit with a substantial price increase. After comparing quality of care of the two A-L facilities, we decided to move her to Somerford. We also managed to keep costs in line with what we were paying prior to the move. Given our past experience with senior living facilities we appreciated the easy to understand pricing of Somerford. The staff at Somerford have a compassionate and joyful attitude. The receptionist, the resident aides, the hair salon person, the business manager, the head cook – all appear to enjoy their work. The daily activities geared for people with dementia is a bonus. Mom participates in many with encouragement from staff. Our family strongly recommends Somerford as a assisted living facility for a person with dementia. The Johnson Family

My family and I love Somerford Place. We have used this facility for the last 3 years. The staff is very professional and always there to help when needed. The facility is very clean, and the workers always greet you with a loving smile. The day break program is a big help if you need to bring your loved one in to handle business for a day, or let your love one take part in the many daily activities they offer. I am very pleased with the care my Mom receives there, and better yet my mind is at peace, cause I know she is in good caring hands at Somerford Place.
