My husband and I moved to Hilltop Springs Independent living in August 2024 after researching every Facility in the area. We sincerely enjoy all of the amenities including Bowling, Indoor pool and jacuzzi (Salt water) as well as the Cards, Bingo, and many activities they provide from entertainment and social activities. This is Senior Living at its finest. This is like staying in an all inclusive resort. Daily Meals, Hospitalty Hour, Housekeeping and the best part a friendly environment where we have made many new friends. It’s a comfort knowing that if we need to transition there is a staff that cares about us. Yes, We Love our new home My husband and I have been here for two years now and there’s no looking back ’•. Nothing is perfect in this world as you well know. But our experience has been one of meeting new friends, Enjoying activities like Card Games, Bowling, Swimming and Jacuzzi as well as Seasonal Activities like October Fest, Summer Carnival Fun, Cinco de Mayo, Luau’s and of Course Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. There have been some dinning issues but Management brought in a new Chef, New Menus and continues to improve. We are looking forward to our New Bistro opening with Treats and ice cream in the near future. The only thing better is our staff and support we have received through some medical issues. New Friends we have made as well as new residents coming in bring diversity to our life. Home is where your happy and we Love our Life here.

It’s taken some time to come up with the words to thank Hilltop Springs for the care and kindness they gave to my mom. Sadly, she was only there for three months, but it was the best three-month experience that she and I had during this most difficult time of life. As a son who thought he could do it all, well, I was wrong. I learned that it’s okay to ask for help. So how do I decide where to turn over the care of my most precious loved one, who raised me and cared for me all my life? How do I walk away from a visit and feel confident that she will be taken care of in a manner that is up to my standards? It’s a very tall order! From the moment we showed up for a tour, I felt at ease. Livia greeted us, made us feel welcome and at home, explained everything, gave us a tour of the awesome facility and Mom and I both loved it. It was the perfect fit I was looking for. With the care, location, and beautiful new facility, it checked all the boxes. This was the toughest decision I’ve had to make, and I didn’t want to have to move my mom again. We moved into the assisted living side. If and when the day came that she needed memory care, that was in the same facility no moving. This was the last move we would have to make. The care team was amazing. They would pop in and check on Mom all the time. You’d think they had known her for years. They got to know her, listened to her, and engaged with her. Very kind. Due to being on oxygen, she needed help via wheelchair to get anywhere. One push of the button, and they were there to assist her. As family, we can’t be there at every moment, so it’s comforting to know someone is watching out. The care team noticed my mom wasn’t acting right. She was sick, had a fever, etc. Unfortunately, I was in an area where my phone didn’t get the call. They called an ambulance, got her to the hospital, and handled everything exactly as we had planned in advance. Their professionalism and quick response made all the difference. Sadly, my mom passed away at the end of February 2026. Hospice came in and worked in conjunction with the Hilltop Springs staff. Her door was open, and she was never alone. I could tell everyone honestly loved and cared for my mom (and me). It wasn’t just a job to them. They truly cared. It has been five months, and I still get calls and texts checking in with me to see how things are going. I’ve attended some events there since Mom passed. They always remember my name, and they remember my mom. I know I’ll miss some names, but I can’t thank you all enough. From the very beginning with Livia, then the care team of Elena, Chris, Leticia, Josh, Jade, Melissa, and many more I say THANK YOU!!! It takes a special type of person to do the work you do. You gave our family comfort and peace during this very difficult time. God bless you all!! THE WOOD FAMILY CRAIG WOOD

Another fun holiday at Hilltop Springs with a Bar-b-q luncheon, a concert, chocolate covered strawberries. What more could you ask for?
July 2026
Everything is done very well here. The rooms are spacious and there are abundant activities. The dining and food experience are less than desired, but with more time, we hope the kinks will be ironed out.

We decided to sell our home and move into a Retirement Community. We found Hilltop Springs. There’s numerous reasons to choose The Springs , but the most important is how it fits into our future. It’s a beautiful facility with eloyees who are always looking to help you if you need help. Selling your home and moving to an apartment is a major change in life style. The facility and dedicated employees makes downsizing from a 2500 sq feet to 1400 square feet easier. Our Mini-Schnauzer has adjusted quite well. Limit on the size of the animal but otherwise they are accepted as part of the community. Having a doggie parade with the 4th of July celebration. Looking forward to seeing them all dressed up. There are a lot of activities. A chapel, a library, movie theatre, game room with card tables , billiards table, a bowling alley, golf simulator, shuffle board, putting green, bocce ball court, Swimming pool and hot tub both with salt water, and a workout room. My wife loves the dining hall. Open 7 am to 7 pm with a special menu each day for each meal. If you’re not interested in the special for that meal you can select something from the menu. It’s like going to a restaurant. Still adjusting to the new lifestyle but certainly glad we chose the Springs.

Our mother became a resident at Hilltop Springs in Redding, CA, in January 2026. The entire Hilltop Springs staff has been timely in their responses to our family’s many inquiries regarding her living accommodations as well as helping our family determine the best level of care for our mother. We were provided several tours by Community Relations staff and the Executive Director who provided important information, and who patiently answered our many questions. The entire staff including the leadership team, receptionists, maintenance workers, restaurant servers, activity facilitators, and assisted living support personnel all strive to meet our requests cheerfully and timely, and they follow up with us to ensure that any tasks are satisfactorily accomplished. We are extremely grateful for how the Hilltop Springs community has helped our mother transition into a new, and often challenging, phase of life where she has made new friends, is cared for by a compassionate staff who have gotten to know her personally, and where she can reside in an environment conducive to her needs as a senior.

My parents have been at Hilltop Springs for just about a month. They have been welcomed by so many residents and staff members. Everyone that we have had contact with has been so helpful and kind. There are so many fun activities to do at Hilltop Springs which keeps the residents engaged. The dining room offers many food options and eliminates the need for residents to have to cook. Hilltop Springs is a wonderful place for the Senior community.
October 2025
I recently moved both my parents into Hilltop Springs on the assisted living side. I never imagined in my wildest dreams having both my parents in a situation where they could no longer live alone. But let me tell you, Hilltop Springs was the best decision we ever made for them! They are being active in the community, making friends and being social. They are eating normal meals again and putting on weight, and they are enjoying new things such as bowling and crafts! This home has been such a blessing. The staff are all amazing, from everyone you meet, everyone is helpful, has a smile on their face and truly enjoy the residents and care for them. I highly recons Hilltop Estates!! They are awesome!
October 2025
My elderly parents recently moved into Hilltop Springs and I can’t say enough about how happy my family and I are with everything, particularly the staff. Their motto is they are family, and they live up to that. They truly care about the comfort and well-being of my parents. In the short time my parents have lived there I have come to feel like everyone there is part of our family - Lorena, Stephen, Russell, Kathleen, Waniesha, Livia, Howard, Lisa, Tracy, Patty, Priscilla and Teddy just to name a few. I’m sure I am leaving names out - my apologies! There have been several instances already where my parents presented serious health emergencies and everything was handled professionally with compassion and with positive outcomes. Senior staff even went to visit my parents in the hospital! I highly recommend Hilltop Springs to anyone who wants their parents to be taken care of like family.
October 2025
From day one we’ve been welcomed to an amazing community! Every staff member we’ve talked with enjoys working here and they show it!

Living at Hilltop Springs is like staying at a 5 star resort! The food is amazing, the staff is very friendly and attentive, so many things to do while keeping the mind and body stimulated! I would definitely recommend it! The rooms are beautiful and the indoor pool is relaxing as well as providing low impact exercise.

We attended Sundays harvest brunch at Hilltop and my mom and I really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and attention to detail was appreciated. When we remarked to the staff how good it was, they told us they have a new chef. Great job! The staff was so friendly and attentive. I have been to several events at Hilltop and this was the best yet. It is so refreshing to see happy staff, it made it that much more enjoyable. Hilltop will be my moms choice for senior living in the near future. Thank you Hilltop for the great hospitality.
September 2025
I was so impressed with everything and I’m delighted to be accepted to live here.
July 2025
I have to say, that at first moving to a retirement community, I was very hesitant to leave my home with all the family memories. I find, however, that the staff and residents at Hilltop Springs Senior living are helping me to rapidly build new memories. Everyone here is loving, kind, and welcoming. There is so much to do and so many taking part in our lives in a very real way that boredom and loneliness are words we do not need in our vocabulary. Gardening, poetry and writing, crafts, bowling, or sitting on the patio, enjoying your friends are just a few of the many activities we participate in daily. We keep in touch with our community through the annual Alzheimer’s walk, Kool April Nights show and shines, and trips to the theater and restaurants. Yep, we’re making so many new memories.
July 2025
We love living at Hilltop Springs. We live a maintenance-free lifestyle. The staff has become our family. We can swim, bowl, watch movies, get a haircut, play games, exercise or relax by the courtyard fireplace, all while making new friends. Come join us.
July 2025
Hilltop Springs gives me easy living to enjoy interesting new experiences and friends. No cooking, housekeeping, house repairs or yard work. Instead, I have an in-house social life with planned activities and fun; a heated pool and spa; and a small cozy just right apartment. My cup runneth over!
July 2025
Hilltop Springs was a perfect place for my Mom. She loved her caregivers and they loved her. There were a few of the regulars who were extraordinary. She also enjoyed the meals when she went down to the dining room. Sadly, after a hospitalization she was opened to hospice care. The staff at Hilltop Springs worked closely with hospice to ensure that my mom was comfortable and peaceful until she passed away. My family and I highly recommend Hilltop Springs ©

Since Waniesha became the director in memory care it has turned around tremendously. She is always present when my family has questions or concerns and responds quickly. The care staff and med techs in memory care are all so sweet and caring with all the residents. Waniesha is very passionate about taking care of not just my grandma but all the residents. Lisa is a jewel as well. I am very grateful for the memory care community.
March 2025
My grandpa lives on the assisted living side, and while I don’t get to see him often, I truly cherish the calls we have. The executive director is always prompt in assisting and even recently helped with a FaceTime call so I could wish my grandpa a happy birthday! Living in Portland, Oregon, I really appreciate these moments and the compassion shown by staff to make these small but meaningful things happen.
March 2025
I love this community. Hilltop Springs often has fun activities and events going through out the month. The residents here are like family.
March 2025

Volunteering here on Thursday’s has been such an incredible privilege. The staff is so easy to work with and so welcoming of volunteers that want to serve their community. The residents are so fun to chat with and very welcoming as well. Overall this establishment is a blessing to the community and do such an amazing job of creating a safe space for their residents!
March 2025
I’m at Hilltop Springs once a week volunteering, and it such a beautiful place! I typically work with memory care residents. The staff are so caring and attentive to residents. They always impress me with their planning and how they love each member so personally. My favorite day of the week is Thursday when they have music, comedy and dancing. The facility is spacious, beautiful, clean and well maintained. There are many community spaces where residents can play games, enjoy gardening, bowling, watch movies and more. I love this place and can’t recommend it more!
March 2025
We helped my mom move to Hilltop Springs from the Bay Area recently. Heather, Elaine, and the entire team made it an easy process and my mom is truly flourishing there. She quickly made friends due to the many activities and dining options. She’s playing poker three nights per week! It’s so nice to see her re-energized due to all of the support and companionship.
October 2024
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY UNLESS YOU ARE GOOD WITH MICRO MANAGING THE CAREGIVERS AND MED TECHS WHO CANT SEEM TO GET IT TOGETHER. My husband was one of the first people in this new facility. He has been there for about a year+ now. I have had nothing but problems. My husbands medicines have run out, not giving him the correct meds, not giving him his meds at all. I have turned them into the State twice. I could certainly file another claim for messing up his meds. Again. My husband is coherent. The people up in memory care are having the same medication issues, but they can’t advocate for themselves, so you better be prepared to have to double check everything! When I called and turned them into the state the first time, I was one of 5 other complaints levied against them. They have a huge turn over in staff. My husband has gone hours with no one checking on him. The nice, shiny things on the inside, is where the good about this facility ends. Management lacks the necessary experience and will do everything they can to avoid you when you do have an issue. I have had problems with them billing our long term healthcare company. My absolute biggest complaint is the caregiving and medication dispensing. Don’t even get me started on dining/food at this facility. Ugh.
August 2024
Dinning Room service has improved in last month due to the diligence of Sabrina and staff. Prior to our new dinning room manager. Food improving and the Salad bar is greatly appreciated. I enjoy living here. Our Activity Director is Fabulous.
February 2024
Our Uncle is very happy here. Many people to socialize with and close to town. The staff goes out of their way to to ensure the residents are happy with their place to live. And it’s just that, a great place to live.
January 2024
This is a lovely place to live with all the amenities one could want. However it is new and therefore has a few kinks to work out, The main issue is getting the right staff and menu for the dining room, They are actively working on these issues,

Great positive place to live!
December 2023
I have had my mother living at Hilltop Springs since they opened. She started out in "independent" living and since has moved to assisted living. In each place she has had fantastic care. I've yet to find a staff person who wasn't friendly and willing to help. I put a great deal of support when staff is helpful and friendly. The entire environment is pleasant and the activities are endless. The availability of good food is endless. I give my highest possible recommendation to Hilltop Springs, staff and Heather Newcome, who is the GM.

From the very moment I signed my mother up to live at Hilltop Springs, long before the building was ready I have been so pleased. The wonderful luncheons, outings, the moving in process has all been handled with such professionalism and concern for her well being. She was originally in Independent living and now is in Assisted Living. That transition went very smoothly and we are pleased with her care. Thank you so much for always being attentive to her needs and concerns.

My Mom and her friends love living at Hilltop Springs. Tons of things to do, an indoor pool and great staff!
