My mother had a brief stay at Atria Rancho Mirage Terrace this year and loved it. Her stay was cut short by her increasingly complex health issues that required a move to skilled nursing. But she couldn't stop raving about the social aspects, food, and staff at RMT. And, from my own experience working with the staff, I was extremely impressed and grateful for how much they cared about my mother and how accommodating they were in dealing with her health logistics. My only regret is that we didn't find RMT sooner vs. her living alone these last few years.

We chose this facility because it just seemed like it would be a great fit for my friend based on the staff members and the value for your money. The room size he is in is very nice. The best part about the community so far would just be the potential that it has. I would recommend Rancho Mirage Terrace.

This community offered a lot in terms of activities and it is a beautiful setting. There were some very nice people there, however our experience was right before COVID. Some activities they had were games every afternoon, on Fridays they had entertainment which was great, the meal service and food service was excellent.

I like it here, this is the place I need to be. Ruth the receptionist goes above and beyond to make people feel welcome and cheer residents on. Monique and Krista are always cheerful and know there jobs very well. Overall, a terrific community with great employees.

Moved my mom into RMT in July, and have been very happy with everything! The staff -- from Krista who first showed us the room virtually (due to Covid-19) and head nurse Monique have been great. When I email or call with any questions - no matter how big or small - they get back to me right away. Their maintenance guys have helped also -- with TV set up and putting together a bedframe I ordered for my mom (which I couldnt come in and set up myself because of Covid). I have been impressed with all the staff I have met. My mom has really liked everyone who is assisting her and doing caregiving. Covid-19 has proved challenging and I appreciate that they are on top of things, sending out weekly updates on what is going on and measures they are taking. I can visit my mom in a few diff social distancing ways and opted to do the sit outside visit -- signing up online and canceling as needed has been quick and easy. I am surprised to see the negative reviews on here... I have nothing to complain about! I only know it as an Atria business, so I dont know what it was like before. But like I said, so far, so good and nothing but compliments from me at this time. I feel like my mother is safe and being well-cared for there. I also really like all the staff I have met.

this is a very nice place to live. I had to make a move after rehabbing and everyone is very nice and accommodating. the food is good and activities are plentiful.

This community has come a long way from where it started. I have an aunt who has lived here under the previous owners who did a terrible job of managing the building and caring for residents. Since Atria took over the building is spotless, the space is brighter, staff and residents seem happier. This is the best bang for your buck in the valley. For everything they provide and what you pay compared to other senior livings I am extremely impressed.

Rancho mirage terrace was a saving grace when I needed it most. After unexpectedly falling extremely ill, I realized I was going to need more care than me or my family could provide myself. The idea of senior living terrified me, I did not want to be placed in a convalescent home. I was referred to 4 or 5 places in the valley to stay while I recovered and I would chose rancho mirage terrace over 100 times. It is a fraction of the price compared to other facilities in the area and they do not disappoint! Every single person I encountered had a genuine passion to help seniors. The executive director is kind, attentive and always listened to my concerns. The care girls always asked how I was, the food was delicious and the front desk concierge had the answers to all of my questions. If you are thinking about making a move, do not second guess this place. I will refer anyone I love and care about to ONLY this facility.

I don't know who does all of the hiring for this facility, but all of the employees are absolutely wonderful! They treat the residents with the utmost dignity and respect. The employees present themselves in a mature, professional manner at all times! My profession has me going into assisted living facilities throughout the Inland Empire. Mission Hills stands out from the rest! A warm, friendly, wonderful community from every aspect!

My relative moved in to this facility about a year ago. The atmosphere at that time was warm, caring, uplifting and had great energy about the place. Activities were posted and it wasnt just about blackjack and bingo. They had a book club, they did flower arranging, and there was a case in the hallway put together by I believe a staff member with the help of the person living there about their life. So much of that atmosphere has disappeared since atria took this over February 1. I have visited my relative many times prior to atria, and several times since then. They have taken all the condiments off the tables so if you want ketchup or mustard you have to ask for it and sometimes it can take up to 20 minutes. Most of the people who serve the meals smile and are very lovely. There was one woman who was dour, it was obvious she did not like what she was doing. Of course that transmits to the people being served. My relative had a fall and needed some assistance after that. For one week she was looked at two -three times a day. But not anymore. She is on her own. The flowers have disappeared from the tables in the dining room. The place now looks like all the other assisted-living facilities we looked at before we helped our relative move into this one. We know some other facilities have movie night. Not here. So it is very disappointing to be so excited And then to watch this facility go downhill since February. . They also seem to be in completely understaffed. We are hoping soon that the promised changes will take place and it will be more like the old caring uplifting facility it once was.

I love all of the employees who work at this facility. They have gone above and beyond to make my grandfathers stay wonderful. They were so amazing in my grandfathers transition also!

I have been a resident of this facility for just a year now.....will not rate this facility at this time since the present Manager (Roland ) just asked me to leave .....Spent most of my working time in the people-resort business as an operator-consultant to the industry...will answer any questions you might have if directed to my mgr...we still operate 200 resorts rentals in Palm Desert...( have no openings at this time ) will be happy to keep you posted .

My wifes aunt live there now and every time Im over there the staff is very friendly and helpful. Love this place. Im reserving a room for myself now!!!
