No stars from me. My best friend's husband was a patient in skilled nursing. Getting any help was an issue, communication, food, you name it, ridiculous! Also, when her husband was taken to ER for emergency, Bayshire wanted a insane amount to hold his room. Therefore, Bayshire gathered all his belongings into one bag and basically kicked him out. This place is very unperfessional and lacks greatly in compassion and care. Please don't let your loved ones be mistreated by this facility.

This is my husband's second stay at Bayshire Rancho Mirage Skilled Nursing Facility. His first visit, he had nothing but praise for the medical staff, PTs, OTs, Admin staff, housekeeping, kitchen and everyone else. Just recently, EMC recommended he be transitioned to a SNF again before returning home. He "chose" to be placed in Bayshire and he's happy with his decision! My experience having my husband placed in Bayshire is very good. If I have questions, and I do, (everything from meds to his rehab schedule) I get complete answers and quickly. Insurance paperwork can be a nightmare and they are always on top of it and, again, they listen to my questions and give me a quick turn-around with thorough answers. If I need it explained until I can understand it, they brake-it-down to "dummies 101" format me. They keep me posted on required appointments that I need to be involved with so I can plan in advance. They are just on top of details so there are no surprises. You hear nightmares about Skilled Nursing Facilities. BAYSHIRE RANCHO MIRAGE is not that SNF. They are professionals who know their business, wrapped up in compassion, caring, a sense of humor and real concern for their patients. A special shout out to Yvonne. She's just been incredible with EVERY interaction we've ever had with her and we appreciate her very much. And Jay at the front desk…a real servant's heart.

There some outstanding employees at Bayshire who care about the residents and doing an outstanding job. Demond Eckert is a wonderful staff member. He is extremely knowledgeable, he can do anything and responds quickly when asked to help. John Seth is a very knowledgeable, caring and patient Med Tech. He truly goes the extra mile for the residents. He will always explore any possible avenue to find an answer for us. Kayla Sanchez is a young, hardworking young lady. She continues to move up in the organization. She is happy, energetic, and will do whatever she can to help. Crystal Welch has always shown great concern for the residents. She is young, smart, and continues to promote to a higher level. She will continue to move up.

My husband recently spent 10 days at Bayshire Rancho Mirage in the SNF. We had a wonderful experience while he rehabbed from a bad fall. The facility is clean and well maintained. Food is even good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. A special Thank you to Helga and Mackenzie (CNAs) and Bong and Theresa (PT). Without them he wouldn't have made the amazing progress he did! We will recommend this facility to anyone needing this type of care!

This place is so clean. The staff is so friendly. The food was great. My mother had no complaints. She was there for about a month and a half. And in that month and a half; We were able to meet Lisa in dietary. She took care of all my mothers food allergies, and took it into considerations when preparing her meals. Therapy was also great.

My mother was a patient in late January. Staff is excellent. The whole building is very clean and pleasant. Physical therapy was very attentive. Food good. I highly recommend. Unfortunately my mother is having to go back to skilled nursing and I was sooo hoping to go back there

Bayshire is an excellent facility! My mom's Nurse Ricky is an excellent and caring professional and all of the staff are amazing! Carmen, the Activities Director is fantastic as well as Yvonne in Social Services. I am so pleased to have my mom in such good hands. Special thanks to Roxie and Haley as well! The staff in Memory Care are so wonderful and take excellent care of my mama! They are angels on earth!

So far, staff is good.& attentive to my needs. I'm in recovery from a broken hip. Food is remarkably good! Pain management not always given on special times, so go into withdrawal for hours on end, which is frightening at times.Over all a very nice.rehab center!

My 100 year old mother is in this facility as of the date this is being written. She has severe edema and should have her feet elevated. We have told staff (when we can actually speak with them) that this should be monitored. Is it? No. She had a call button that didn't even work. When they did finally replace it, it took over 8 minutes for someone to respond to her. I don't want to write a book on the things that have gone wrong, but suffice it to say, research the place you or your loved one is going for rehab. so there are no regrets.

My mom spent 7 weeks at BRM after hip surgery. Her arthritis contributed to a lengthier recovery. The facility itself is fine, the rooms are fairly large, the location in RM was very convenient for myself and her caregivers to visit. The food is fine, and probly better than average. Mom is super finicky and found something to eat on most trays delivered to her. But she RAVES about the staff!! "Everyone was SO NICE"...she continues to tell people. And, IMO, they were. The CNA's, LVN's, kitchen staff, and the OTs and PTs were so good to her. Is it their job? Yes, but they also seemed to a particularly lovely batch of people. I think she is really missing them all in her first days at home, where it is just her and a caregiver. She would highly recommend.

I am very pleased with the care that my Father received in the skilled nursing center. He loved the food and the physical therapy and everyone was so nice and truly cared about him.I highly recommend this facility.

My girlfriend is recovering from knee replacement surgery. The first thing you notice is it doesn't smell of urine. In the 1 1/2 hours I was there, 4 people came to check on her. Once was to take meds, once was to see if she needed anything, then they were giving out snacks, and again, how was she doing.

My mother had a wonderful experience while at Bayshire. She fractured a vertebrae in her spine. They were wonderful with her therapy, and she progressed so quickly I was amazed. My mother loved so many there, but Brian, Shelby, Rose, and Carmen seemed to come to the forefront, perhaps they worked with her the most. Thank you for overseeing her needs so well. She truly flourished in your care.

Great staff, under staffed, to spend more time with patients. Needs to step up training & or products for wound care/ bed soars, turning patients. I had all soars healed and was shocked how badly tended to sores my Mom got back, bloody & scabbed!! P.T. was great. Med. Cart was consistent, once the right meds.were ordered. We miss the Nursing Staff, they know who You are!! Thank You

My sister has an assisted living apartment which is very nice. She loves the staff, various activities, including excursions to museums and places like Sunnyland. The restaurant style dining room provides a variety of prepared food which she enjoys. She snd I give Bayrshire a FIVE STAR rating.

The food on my mother's tray is missing one thing or another most of the time -is either missing something or incorrect. The call button is rarely answered in a timely manner. The safety measures taken for the recent Covid outbreak do not seem to be handled with the urgency one would expect .

This was my first visit. I found Bayshore assisted living to be well staffed. All staff were friendly and caring. The facility was very clean. My friend's living quarters were comfortable and nice. There were many activities. I was very impressed.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bayshire skilled nursing facility. I am a nurse practitioner and have no illusions as to what many rehab centers are like. All of my last experiences have been just terrible. So when my mom needed to go to rehab for a few days to a few weeks, my heart sank. I had head that Bayshire was better than some of the others around so I pleaded to at least try to get her there. I was blown away by how great this place was! It was so clean ( first skilled nursing facility that didn't smell bad)and the nurses and nursing assistants (namely Crystal and Christine) were just fantastic. The director came in and met with us and took so much time going over what to expect. Caring and kind and amazing. Dr Sotolongo was THE most caring and wonderful doctor. She took the time to call me when I wasn't there when she rounded, to fill me on my what was happening with my mom. I know a lot of physicians, she is among the rare kind hearted, compassionate ones. She really listened to us about mom. I honestly am speechless. Bayshire went above and beyond my expectations and surpassed even that! I highly recommend this facility for your loved one.

I was very happy with the care my 92-year-old mother received at Bayshire during the 6 weeks of her stay for a broken femur. The place is very clean, and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food was also quite good, and they made sure she always had plenty of water and juices on hand. My only complaint was that they were slightly understaffed and a little slow, and could have used a few more hands on each shift.

Very comfortable room even though it was a double. The other patient was very quiet. Response to her nurse request took a long time but it's because the staff is so busy. Meals were excellent. Some of the CNAs and LVNs went out of their way to be helpful. Due to staffing there wasn't enough OT / PT. That was the major reason for being there and it was definitely not sufficient.

Oh what a wonderful, great, fantastic group of people you are. The employees are very attentive and helpful. The place is kept vere, very clean ALL the time, no funny smells of any kind. Beds are made daily. The kitchen staff do a great job at providing delicious and healthy meals. The front desk staff are very helpful and professional. Entering as a visitor, I found the self check in slow. The pop up key board covers the typed text and due to how slow it is, I would type at a normal speed but it was unresponsive to some characters due to the speed. I stood there staring at a woman for a while until I finally said excuse me. She took a few before asking me what I needed. I needed to know the room number. Basically, my initial arrival wasn't great. However, Tanya, who is new, was at the front desk when I returned to ask a question. She is awesome. She made up for all earlier unpleasantness. She is super friendly and eager to help. A gentleman came to the desk a minute or so later and he was pleasant too.

I have been visiting an old friend in the Memory Care unit at Bayshire, Rancho Mirage for more than a year. I visit two to three times a week now. The staff there are remarkable people. They exhibit kindness, knowledge, experience and an amazing level of patience and resident care. Our friend is very well cared for as are the other residents in view. The food is very good and the facility is well kept. I can't compliment the staff enough for all that they do individually and as a group. We are very fortunate to have this level of care for our loved ones.

Many of the people who work at Berkshire are very professional but they are severely understaffed. Unless a family member is present advocating for the patient they do not get the care needed. When there is a change in the patient's diagnosis or care plan the family should be informed. There seems to be a serious lack of communication and coordination of patient care. When a family is entrusting their loved one to a rehab facility they want to be assured that the best of care will be given daily not just when a family member is there demanding that care. If a family member asks about the care plan for their loved one they are often led down the "chain of command" where no one responds and phone calls and emails are unanswered. This facility is very poorly managed!!!

The people seemed nice enough but there were some issues. My father was not eating so we would bring him food and a few times they just didn't give it to him so it was rotten in his room next time we came. They wouldn't turn on his TV and he had no remote so he would just lay in his bed looking at the ceiling. Half the time we came to visit they would let us in and half the time they would say we needed extra shots and COVID tests. We would usually have to call for 15-20 minutes to get someone to answer. If u asked a nurse a question they would have no idea about answer.
