Amber is THE shinning star in the Reminiscences area at Sunrise. Her heart pours into the residents and their families too; she definitely has found her calling! Her energy is light-hearted and fun. She is knowledgable about her work environment and motivated to provide only the best for Sunrise's elderly! I take pride in knowing that my 100year old Granddad is well cared for by Amber.

Within moments of receiving a tour of Sunrise Alta Loma, from the Director of Sales, we knew that this was the perfect place for our loved one. We put our name down on the wait list immediately. We were thrilled when move in day came and the entire Sunrise team was helping us and making us feel welcome to the Sunrise family. When we had to leave our family member for the first time at the end of the day, the Executive Director stepped in to spend time with them. The Executive Director and the entire team made our family member feel welcome, safe, and a part of the Sunrise family. My family member is very well taken care of by her Designated Care Manager, who over sees the day to day care of them. The daily care and activities of each resident is reported and logged by the Assisted Living Coordinator. This has come in really handy due to the disease my loved one has of memory loss. They cannot remember what they did on a day to day basis or when the last time they were given a shower. By logging these activities, we are able to reassure our family member that they indeed have been taken care of. The Resident Care Director and the Wellness Team are very thorough about the well being of all the residents. The also assist the residents with their doctors visits, take very accurate notes, and pass on all information pertaining to the visit. They are also on top of all the residents medications and make sure they are distributed in a timely manner every single day! The Activities and Volunteer Coordinator always has fun and interesting activities planned for the residents. These could be anything from flower arranging to walking groups to art classes to cooking classes to bingo and more! They also love to involve the families when possible by hosting holiday parties, Sunday brunches, and festivals. As for the food, the Dining Services Team not only gives the residents a lot of options to choose from on a daily basis, but the food is just outstanding! They make all different types of dishes from American to European to Mexican etc. The Dining Services Team also takes requests from the family and residents of different dishes they miss or just really like. Down the road, at some point, my family member will have to move into memory care. We know they will be very well taken care of by the Reminisce Team when they do have to move there. Talk about top care and one of the best memory care teams ever! In the end, my loved one is in the best care at Sunrise Alta Loma and we cannot thank the entire team enough for all that they do not only for their residents, but the families of the residents too. I fully trust Sunrise Alta Loma to take the best care of my loved one for the remainder of their life. Thank you Sunrise Alta Loma! You all are truly the best senior care team out there!!

As a Senior Industry Professional, I have visited many senior living communities. What I love most about Sunrise At Alta Loma is seeing the residents engaged in activities. I cannot tell you how grateful I have been to Sunrise of Alta Loma for taking care of my parents. I moved my parents in after my Dad fell about 3 years ago and they could no longer live alone in their home (Dad was 96 and Mom was 92 at the time). Dad required a lot of assistance initially, but gradually improved. Unfortunately that did not last, but regardless of his condition, the staff was always there to support. Mom is still there and has been healthy throughout this whole pandemic. The community is in constant contact with me regarding any issues, or just to update. I do not know what I would have done without them during this time. When I could go in to visit it was always cheerful greetings as if we were all family. Now that visits are restricted, I still know that Mom is attended to and taken care of. Many thanks to Sunrise, and ALL the employees for making this separation easier to bear.

I am very impressed with the Alta Loma community. The overall facility is well maintained and the all the staff are caring and welcoming. We are a Sunrise generational family: my granny was at Sunrise Alta Loma in the late 1990s, my granny in-law was also there in the late 1990s, and both of them loved the TLC, attentiveness by the staff, the fact that Sunrise has "house" pets for the residents to enjoy, and many fun activities that include both Sunrise residents and their families. Naturally, when it was time for my mother in-law to move into a senior neighborhood two years ago, Sunrise Alta Loma was the obvious choice. Although the staff and residents have changed since my granny was there, the high level of attentiveness, TLC and beauty of the facility have not changed. Moreover, the move from the general resident apartment into the memory neighborhood was necessary during the novel covid 19 pandemic. Due to quarantine restrictions, our family could not assist with the pack and move of my mother in-law into the memory neighborhood. The Sunrise staff handled it all and their warm reassurances to her made the transition nearly seamless. Thank you, Sunrise staff for all you've done and continue to do. Keep up the good (and tireless) work!

A couple years ago I discovered Sunrise and brought my uncle to live there. I’ve been so happy with the staff from the Management to the Nurses to the Care Managers that when I needed a place for my aunt to live it was a no brainer. Everyone is so caring and friendly. The staff at Sunrise always makes me feel like Family. They also put on several Events throughout the year and they are so much fun. I highly recommend Sunrise Senior Living for your loved ones. I can tell you I’m very glad I chose them for mine.

My father ended up the hospital from a fall he had at home. It was very difficult to try and figure out what we were going to do because he needed extra care being he has dementia. I reached out to Sunrise for help because we needed a temporary fix because he was being discharged and we had no way of taking care of him at home. Luis and Jennifer jumped in to help me with whatever I needed to get the process moving. Even though we didn’t end up moving my dad there for other reasons if the decision would’ve been solely up to me my dad would be there today. The service I received was nothing short of stellar.
