My dad lived at Eskaton Placerville for 3 years: 1 year in the cottages and 2 years in assisted living. Not only is it a beautiful setting but the facility was always super clean and the staff were very professional, caring, and always made an effort to connect with my dad and the other residents who live there. My dad enjoyed the various activities and themed holiday events. I would highly recommend Eskaton Placerville to anyone looking for the best overall environment and care in a Senior Living environment.

My mom lived at Placerville Eskaton for 10 months before her passing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Placerville Eskaton. Every single one of the staff members are kind, fun and helpful. They keep their residents busy with fun activities and field trips. My mom thought the food was great! The grounds and facility are always kept so beautiful. I’ve lived here at EVP for about two years and it’s been an absolute joy, every minute of it. Everything about being here is delightful. I haven’t met a neighbor I didn’t like, as everyone is so kind and pleasant all of the time, from neighbors to staff. I can also say I’ve never had a meal I didn’t enjoy, the options and availability in our dining, along with the food being so consistent and well made, it’s all fabulous and I’m so thankful for it all. The activities and options here are also wonderful, from group shopping trips to swimming, but my absolutely favorite activity here would have to be the live performed concerts we have regularly. The variety in music and genres, there’s never been a performer I didn’t enjoy. It’s so wonderful here and I can absolutely say that This is my home, through and through, and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. I am very thankful and my family and I found this place for me.

The residents and staff of Eskaton welcome you with friendly smiles when you visit. The Resident's of Eskaton are treated with the utmost respect and everyone is cared for equally. Staff provide the elderly with many activities to entertain and enjoy themselves and most importantly make them feel at home. One activity all the residents can truly connect with one another and feel closer is when they sing their favorite songs. I’m grateful Eskaton has given me the opportunity to volunteer at their wonderful facility. I’m able to learn from the working staff, what they do on a daily bases to ensure the Resident’s are happy and their needs are cared for. Also I am given the opportunity to have conversations with the Resident's of Eskaton and they share their experiences through life with me and I am given words of advice. Overall Eskaton is a place residents can call safe and home.

Our mother has been a resident at Eskaton Village Placerville for 7 years, mostly in Memroy Village. It is difficult having a loved one with Alzheimer’s, but everyone at EVP has made it the best possible experience. It’s a really nice place to visit: EVP has beautifully decorated, comfortable and inviting spaces and it is always clean. The RCAs are respectful and caring, as is the rest of the staff. If medical care is needed, the staff is great working with us and doctors. There is plenty of activity for those up for it. We are happy to have our mother live here.
