Shout out to the wonderful caring staff here at Morningstar of Pasadena! Thank you for caring for my Mom who has been here for four years. The front desk staff, Sheila, Tony and Jazmin are so helpful handling all sorts of questions and support for residents and their families. Mary is in charge of housekeeping staff but also knows all the residents and makes herself available to help with what ever is needed. Norma is a nurse who has been a god send looking after my mom and the residents with 100 percent commitment to them. She truly cares. Rhonda Guzman in charge of wellness has been very helpful. Marissa in charge of assisted living is also caring and supportive. She is also in charge of Covid testing for all the residents and staff and is very organized in providing this service during this pandemic. Graciela is always cheery and efficient. The vibe here is respectful and thoughtful. Kevin Taliaferro the executive director is approachable and hands on seeing to all aspects of life for the residents and staff. Kevin walks his talk. Everyone who works here is patient and kind to the residents and families and each other.

The genuine care and patience is much appreciated. What you did each day at MorningStar exceeded my expectations. This place is amazing! I brought my in-laws for a tour a few weeks ago and they absolutely loved it. Our guide, Demetrius, was so informative & helpful. He really went above & beyond for us. Such a beautiful facility. Can't say enough good things about the place & the staff...definitely a 5 star experience.

7/30/2022 - Toured the MorningStar Senior Living with my uncle this afternoon under the director of community relationship, Sandie, who acts very professional and informative. We are all impressed with this 5-star luxurious senior living residences. Its hallway with elegant lighting looks like The Ritz-Carlton. The tendrous and tasting Grilled Mahi Mahi is one of the best - Only a highly skilled chef can make it - you can't find it easily in many restaurants. It is worth mentioning that you can clearly see the Huntington Hospital from a balcony (only 0.6 miles away from the MorningStar)

My 87 year old mother moved in 6 months ago and the adjustment and experience has been excellent - exceeding my hope. Every staff member is genuinely caring and compassionate. There are many daily options for exercise and socializing. Most importantly, the residents are treated with respect.

I just returned from a 4 day visit with my mom at MorningStar of Pasadena, the first since there was a change in ownership. Mom has lived at the senior living facility for almost 5 years. Shes always been happy there, and had told me things were even better under the new management. During my stay in one of their guest rooms, I had a chance to see for myself why she was so enthusiastic. After arriving I was greeted by Graciela, the longtime Business Manager who my mom always praised. The new Executive Director, Kevin, also contacted me to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was much more than that! The food was comparable to what youd expect from a fine restaurant, no doubt a reflection of Kevins experience as a professional chef. The staff, which my mom always raved about, was exceptional – warm, hard-working and professional. Jose, a waiter, and Cesar, the Maintenance Director, were especially helpful. The range of activities and entertainment is truly impressive. Residents are offered everything from exercise classes and Spanish lessons to feature films and Shabbat services. The highlight was a concert by Robin and Norm, an exceptionally talented musical duo. I left MorningStar feeling that there couldnt be a better place for my mom to live.

First I want to thank all the Essential Workers who have provided service and CARE to the residents at Morning Star Pasadena during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I especially want to thank the Morning Star management leadership team at MS Pasadena and their outstanding support staff. The safety standards that Morning Star Pasadena leadership team immediately implemented made MS Pasadena one of the safest places to be during the raging Pandemic. MS Pasadena was quick to secure testing and then vaccine doses for all MS residents and staff. I cant tell you how much it means to me to know that my Mother, a MS Pasadena resident was living in the safest environment during the Pandemic. Kevin Taliaferro, the executive Director of MS Pasadena arranged for me to be able to stay at MS in one of the rooms they can provide for visiting family members who need accommodation. The room was provided with all the necessary comforts (Thank you Mary). The experience is made all the more enjoyable by the upbeat lively attitude of the MS support staff. Thanks for taking such great care of my Mom.

I enjoy living at The Regency Park Fair Oaks because it is such a pleasant place one might think they were on a vacation of sorts. Our tasty food is prepared with flair. Activities are imaginative and stimulating, happening both on site and away. Our private baths are tidied up every day with fresh linens because our staff keeps us spotless. Certainly a higher and senior facility in Pasadena area. Well managed, well maintained, attention to detail. Good food, exercise classes, movies, 3 libraries, on floor kitchens, art classes. Shuttle service and provide. Very accommodating staff. Excellent choice.
